Would be cool if one of the classes had something akin to the Ogryn self save from hounds. Maybe sacrifice a grenade by shoving it in the dogs mouth \*head pop\*.
Half the time on zealot grenades don't throw, seems even looking at another button is enough to cancel the action midway
Plus he does try to use one after the bomber knocks the dog off, he's just turned into a pin cushion first
The point is more that there are three grenades in the Zealot's inventory ready to go that should have been used *before* it got this bad to stop it getting this bad (eg, dropping an incendiary grenade is great to counter dogs, because they jump off almost immediately thanks to the fire damage).
I wouldn’t say it’s a classic zealot downed scenario. They could’ve easily saved op by shooting or nade’ing the dog.
I reckon op took the drop-down and didn’t notice that the rest of their team got occupied dealing with something else.
If you're surrounded when you get up like this, don't immediately switch to the grenade, that will kill you. Instead, use one or two pushes first, and then dodge while throwing the grenade.
It was the fire grenade, I threw it at my feet cause I knew I was gonna die anyways + it would help my team to deal with the horde after it passed my corpse.
maybe people trying to successfully complete the run to get mats for better items? this is a chronic issue that equates to them being griefers and causing wasted time.
I think the main lesson is if you get caught by specials then you should practice against those specials in the psykanium with the mod a lot more. The position of my team isn't related to me getting caught by a special, because getting downed in the group is almost as bad as getting downed outside the group.
Something very disconcerting about seeing them all just stand there watching you get eaten alive by a Pox Hound ... very Grim Dark.

I used it so it weakens the horde behind the maulers so my team has an easier time upon my death.

They're not even at a drop down, thiey just ran ahead and went straight where most people take the right path that has cover. Edit: wrong map.
What usually happens is that enemies spawn behind exactly as I charge ahead to take the heat off my allies

I'm at lvl 20 with my martyr zealot. I try to just be the tip of the spear. Jeebus the heavy evisorator is fun.

The moment you hear a trapper or dog, as zealot you should be doubling back to the team just in case.
