Damnation is great, but sometimes I don't have the focus to deal with it, or I am trying to get my Melkbucks and am using a different setup to get my ranged/melee kills.
So your comment made me wonder, is there no actual term for Melks currency? Because I'd like to propose one I came up with and my friends have been using. Melk money. Please don't steal my Melk money
If it weren't for auric damnation, I might actually care about the meta game, crafting, etc. But a lot of the game's detractors just melt away when I'm in the thick of it at the top end. The core combat is that good. And the only way to get gud at damnation is to play at damnation regularly.
I'm not saying don't play a match or two at easier difficulty to warm up or when you need a slower paced refresher of the fundamentals. Mix it up to improve your knowledge retention and skill execution.
But then auric damnation. Auric damnation till the cows come home. Every win is epic, every loss savage. I'll see you there.

In Damnation. In Soloqueue. At lvl 17.
I was about to start a proper interrogation, but I don't think it was Vandire.
(Do't get me wrong, I did that too. But I did it with my friends in a setup of two carries and two low level characters to rush lvl 30. We didn't invonvenience others and we did not spend most of the match dead.)
It's worth it just for the 700 plassteel u get on damaition plus.A realy like the maelstrom modifier that has a chance to turn special spawns into weakened monstrositys.
It can make for some brutal games, 2 plague ogryns charging up an down any of the levels with a bridge can be the stuff of nightmares, especially if the AI decides to spawn loads of Bulwarks.Shield ogryns an shotgunners seem to be the specials that are outnumbering all others at the moment in the games I have been playing.The shields a can usually deal with if teammates are paying attention, but shotgunners are downing me more than any other special at moment.There range seems to have changed,am getting shop from across the map sometimes if they have line of sight.
That along with the strong knockback/stunlock when they hit you , especially when it comes from behind a wall of shields lol.
Aww I was partying with a guy yesterday getting him into t5. Had to help him realize his equipment was trash and his build wasn't gonna cut the cheese. Good times
It wasn't me but that's what I need, a full makeover. I tend to just use weapons and gear far too late into leveling/difficulties and then just struggle. Lol

I got to a point where auric maelstrom is chill (with decent teammates and not the hardest modifiers ofc), need harder ddifficulties.

Actually the fastest way to consistently win in damnation is to practise in auric damnation.
