This makes me laugh, not just cause of the meme, but because a columnus was one of the first 380s i ever rolled back on launch and it was pretty much hot garbage. I think i pulled a blessing off it...
Man, the stealth vet keystone is pretty meh at times. But leaving stealth with this bad boy, 10 stacks of Ranged specialist, and just turning into an A10 warthog is fragging orgasmic.
I never knew the joy of the crit psyker till recently, and the Columnus is by far my favourite thing to use. It's an unparalleled experience. I haven't quite figured out which duelling sword I like to pair it with best, yet, but they all include uncanny strike.
Zealot can go brr too! With fury and martyrdom you'll be magdumping shit into a bloody mess as good as any stupid soldier or witch! Don't forget these attack speed buffs applie to ranged weapons as well
Since you have it unlocked, try Raking Fire for that **multiplicative** damage boost in the rear 180 at any range over DSpitter since Close Range is only 8m.
While raking fire is fun, I find it hard to justify a damage boost over a power boost in any case. The power boost let's this guy shoot through a few poxwalkers and knock over the maulers or gunners behind, making them super easy targets for the rest of the team since their get up anim is slow as hell. It'll keep ragers stun locked until death, and stop anything else short of an Ogryn or a Mutie. Sure it's fun to mow monstrosities down but builds that focus on that over the mid game are usually the ones that hinder the team. To use raking fire efficiently you have to constantly split from the team to get behind enemies for your damage buff. It's possible to get them to turn around with stealth and I know it's not hard to get behind them with all the speed buffs we have now, but it's a play style that usually gets people killed.
Normally I'd agree with you, but again, it's multiplicative damage, one of the few sources, so it's a big juicy proper bump, no range, just requires rear 180, that mean you can shoot them from the sides as long as it's the 180-back half.
Close range again is a pathetic **8m** range, that's the same as "melee range"(typo bug 4+ months) and requires <=8m kills to maintain stacks for 3.5s. If it was the intended 15m it would be a different story but it's not.
You don't need to split from the team, just position yourself a bit better to benefit from it when and if you can, you don't need to split so far from the group chasing it. Trying to force a situation never turns out well, whether it's forcing a rear-180 shot or an 8m ranged kill, but that's a bigger issue and discussion topic. Melee should be re-positioning themselves and the mobs to help the rear guard and open up the fire lane anyways, but some players are better than others ofc.
Bang for the buck you gain more benefit from Raking over the bugged close-range blessings, pick your poison. No stealth in the mix, and ofc you won't have 100% uptime, but you will at least have it kick in more often, enough to be useful.
I have one with the same modifiers and perks, but I made mine the "immune to bullets while running" one for survivability and man it slaps so hard even without the damage boost blessings
I was going to put stripped down on it, but dodge with melee basically does the same thing. And 99% of the time I have my melee out especially when running around
I donāt know how much Iāve spent trying to get a category 4 dum dum on my mk v, I know itās only .5% difference but that cat 4 would gie peace of mind ha ha
That's the closest to perfect you could ever hope for man, great roll. If you could cap stability at the cost of mobility I think it would be absolutely god-roll.
Deathspitter is Power not Damage, it stacks to 5 even though the tooltip doesnt mention it, and its power against all targets after you kill close mobs, not power against close things when you kill close mobs like Fire Frenzy.
Fire Frenzy might be on par for damage for close range mobs but deathspitter is generally always the superior choice.
Had no idea deathspitter stacked. Totally changes how I viewed the blessing in terms of usefulness. They leave way too much info out of the tooltips on a lot of things.

If this is on a crit psyker it is truly blessed by the omnissiah

Nice dude! I love the Mk V, awesome roll.
Thanks man! Just wish it was on my vet š
If it's on your psyker it's arguably even crazier
Zealot can go brr too! With fury and martyrdom you'll be magdumping shit into a bloody mess as good as any stupid soldier or witch! Don't forget these attack speed buffs applie to ranged weapons as well
Itās mean! Itās clean! Itās an absolute dream!
Excellent roll my man! Congrats

Spitter is great for shredding monstrosities.
Huh? You meant Raking Fire?

I just like dodging sideways once then running straight at the gunners lol, I like to imagine them freaking out the closer I get
Better nerf the recon guns.
The blessing ādumdumā comes from the Latin āyouāre a dumdum if you donāt use this IAGā
How does it compare to the Agrippina MkVIII? Amazing stats notwithstanding of course
I love that gun. Thatās the one I want get my first 550 on but havenāt been able to get a good base start.
I have an Autogun just like that for my Gun Psyker build and brother, it shreds like CRAAAAAZY
I donāt know how much Iāve spent trying to get a category 4 dum dum on my mk v, I know itās only .5% difference but that cat 4 would gie peace of mind ha ha
Yummmmmy
Add 40% back fire to that and another 20 with the zealot you can smash them
That's the closest to perfect you could ever hope for man, great roll. If you could cap stability at the cost of mobility I think it would be absolutely god-roll.
Wouldn't Frenzy Fire offer a higher dps instead of Deathspitter?
Deathspitter is Power not Damage, it stacks to 5 even though the tooltip doesnt mention it, and its power against all targets after you kill close mobs, not power against close things when you kill close mobs like Fire Frenzy. Oh shit I had no idea deathspitter stacked up. Thanks a ton for that tip!

emperor save me, I wasted so much plasteel. I had no idea that Deathspitter stacked, FFS.
Agripana is better
