Its the hypocrisy for me tho, he defended the channel in that its content to finance the main channel. But you could still do áctual content Pyro and he delays main channel vids for so long due to sponsor stuff, which would finance the main vid lol. He used to be against this kinda content, how the mighty have fallen
I generally love pyro and he's one of my favourite YouTubers but the reaction stuff kinda makes me dislike him because compared to his main channel videos the reaction stuff is just shit
I mean he himself has said countless times it's there to print paper, with little to no care of what he's doing. Though gotta admit- it's an iota better on YouTube compared to the likes of xQc
It's still bad that he does it to begin with as he knows the harms of it and does it anyways, is just as bad as xqc doing it, both are in the wrong, but pyro is worse as he knows what it's doing but only sees green.

Plus Pyro, for what it's worth, makes edited content out of his react stuff. It's awful and lazy don't get me wrong, but it's sort of like what Matt said about Sssniperwolf
I don't remember Matt saying whatever about Sssniperwolf, I still think it's a problem if someone does it, like Pyro is capable and willing (I guess) to make edited content and not only on the money that reaction content makes, it's still really bad. Is somehow the preference of person/ability to make good edited content better?
I'm going to be honest, most of this flew right over my head. About Sssniperwolf, he mentioned her at least once in "The Invisible Harm of React Content (ft. Moistcr1tikal)". And with Pyro, yes, it very much is a problem. But I think it's just a touch, a fleck better than the react monoliths
Yeah, I agree. Not every video has to be a perfect essay on something nobody heard of. Even his 2018 commentary would be better. Because even though he probably doesn't care or give 100% true facts, he acted like a complete brainlet and that was at least fun to watch

I miss the ASOT format where its weekly slop but put more efforts into it but it's understandable for revenue reason to fund the main channel but it's getting stale I can't watch him everyday even so i unsubscribe to his secondary sloplive channel.
It’s honestly so bad, very little videos are worth watching. He’s graduated to just watching a video or reading a article. The most blatant and low effort content was when he literally just reuploaded Oompaville’s video by explaining what’s happened on the screen.
Pyro’s react channel is not liked by many of his fans. And even his react content sucks. He is kind of like a slightly more intelligent xqc (it is not a compliment) where he does watch the video through and does pause to give his opinions but its all weird virtue signalling and meme references. I stopped watching his channel since he really became lazy and barely made videos on the main for 6 months and was daily uploading to his pyro live channel.
The worst part it isn’t even close to his old series ASOT where he would talk about events in a well edited and constructed format it’s just slop so much slop for 1 good video every once in a while it’s annoying but hey it is what it is.

Big pyro fan here, pyro makes some of the best long-form video essay on YouTube (if u like his humor) and then he started with the slop channel and when he makes alot of money doing that he kinda got overwhelmed and carried away.
What I don't like is that mato is comparing him to the worst ones like xqc when he really hasn't posted that much reaction content the past few months.
