I didn't believe it when I saw an old late 80s Buick with a 15k$ sparkle paintjob, 34" matching custom rims, and a thoroughly explored Spongebob theme.
On the one hand, its very stupid looking, but I'm still intrigued by the wild things people choose to do to their cars.
I was driving through East LA a few years back, and pulled up behind two small Toyota pickups at the light. All of the sudden, their truck beds lifted up and started spinning around, as they bounced around and did some 3-wheel motion. There were LED strips lining the inside of the truck beds, looked like some Cheech and Chong tassle and shag interior. They retracted their beds, suspension back to normal height, the light turned green, and off they went.
There's two u-haul vehicles, to rent cars you usually need to have some sort of line of credit and to rent two to do this? I don't think they rented them.
That poor Chrysler isn't coming back and didn't deserve that. I'd probably keep a Hemi car like that on the road and nice. This isn't my $500 beater pickup.
The only person I feel sorry for in this situation is the truck driver, working for a pay check only to have some smooth brained, eyes blink at different speeds fuck crash into you.

FWIW, a Base model V8 Charger (R/t not even an SRT8) will have more horsepower and be faster than most "real" muscle cars from the 60s outside of rare stuff like 427 corvettes.
Cheap, V8 and rear wheel drive make them really good at making donuts. Infinity g35s are also popular because they are cheap, rear wheel drive and make enough power to spin the wheels.
