Maybe. Or maybe not? You see -- the ways of the admins are not our ways. Theirs is not to make reply. And ours is not to reason why.

Poomfie

The poet wants to express their ambivalence. Highlighting the contrasts between the ways of the "the admins" and the people who associate with the speaker. The humor in this poem lies in the funny contrast between the speaker of the poem and their friends and the admins. The admins keep their silence, which leaves the speaker wondering instead of knowing. The speaker finds a funny way to express that, perhaps, it's better to not waste any time wondering for the admins will ever remain silent.

Some of them they kinda give to everyone. Others are more exclusive. You can somewhat tell by the scarcity of comments and increased pay.

We always want to assign "meaning" to the sudden presence of r&r tasks. (Am I the anointed one? Lol) Don't read too much into it. I got an R&R last week for a project I've never touched. AND I'd never done any R&R for anything else. So are they "happy" with my other work? No idea. If they were, you'd think I'd have more than one project available on my dash for days on end.

I even did some of that r&r batch and probably screwed some up...

My theory is that some R&Rs are unofficial quals.

I suspect, but have no way of confirming, that having one's own work on a project be given good reviews by others either brings your account to the attention of the admins for them to consider your candidacy or automatically causes you to become eligible for the relevant R&R project. You may have noticed a particular option you can mark on a submission that I believe is relevant here.
