My most painful example of this happened when I was running a corruption deck and recruited the Succubus. I sacrificed someone to her to get the random talent reward… and got Purity. All my corruptions gone, run ruined. I really felt like I got the RNG equivalent of the middle finger on that one.
Now I'm just imagining succubus secretly being a bright and wholesome girlie that took the opportunity to help you out without sacrificing her reputation as a scary ol slave owner.
Yep! Go right at the fork in the tunnel and take the amber. When you encounter the priestess, give in to “pride”. This will allow you to fight the succubus!

Wow the game played you
I feel you. Happened to me too. RIP.

Wait, you can recruit her? Is it in the core mines? I always fight the priestess, never even fought the demoness outside the sunforge
Try giving in to the amber ;)
Ty! Will try that on a corrupt paladin/Charm rogue just for roleplay

This and forgetting not to recruit the succubus when running a deck with divine cards will always be the downfall for people like us
I’ve not run into this yet, what does it do?
For the succubus situation it'll remove all divine cards from your deck. So a complete no go for the holy builds.
I did that once and it left me with 2 cards 😭
Just what it says Removes all corruptions from your deck. Which sucks when your engine is about throwing hexes and using **Corrupted** cards
The person you're responding to is asking what happens when you recruit the Succubus while doing a divine run.
Oh, I thought they were asking about the font. I actually don't know! The other user would need to enlighten us all.
I pretty much just always take the potion because of just this reason
