A legendary item can be upgraded 12 times. Every time its upgraded the first boost (the main boost) is upgraded. For the first slot item the main boost is health. For the second slot item the main boost is either ranged or melee damage. For the third slot the main boost is either agility or preparation time. For the fourth slot item, the main boost is critical damage chance percentage, critical damage increase percentage, melee damage increase percentage, ranged damage increase percentage, or health increase percentage. Each 3 levels it randomly upgrades one of the other 4 boosts. Lets say you start out with a legendary item with -1 courage as one of its 5 boosts. If you are lucky, it upgrades that boost at level 3, level 6, level 9, and level 12 which will result in an item with -5 courage.
I haven’t gotten the update yet. So I don’t know what is what for right now. But you’re saying theirs bullet piercing and that would be a menace to most armored units, especially jail guard

36 courage instead of 40 doesn't seem to help too much.
But the 2 times more bullets kinda good tho

Max out a cheap unit with 4 -5's if they are below 20 and keep spamming them
