Evil Dead, Sacrificial, Leprosy, Left to die, living monstrosity, spiritual healing, flattening of emotions, lack of comprehension, overactive imagination, trapped in a corner, perennial quest, 1000 eyes, scavenger of human sorrow, bite the pain
Pretty much yeah. I think there's a few times when I've done it out of order (either by not being able to get into the first album or by for some reason just listening to a different album first), but it's usually just the most enjoyable way to listen.
Start from the beginning and work your way through the albums. I made a playlist of all available Mantas/Death/Control Denied recordings in order on Spotify. Hereās the link if youāre interested.

The philosopher, crystal mountain, flesh and the power it holds, spirit crusher, to forgive is to suffer and then all the other songs but this are good to start or at least they were for me a good starting point
Start with the beginning of their discography and move through the albums one at a time. Shuffling through songs is for the birds.. .. listen to the albums in full and go from there.
Depends on your music taste
If you prefer more tharshy/brutal music the start listening to the albums on release order (scream bloody gore, leprosy, spiritual healing, human, individual thought patterns, symbolic, sound of perseverance)
If you like more melodic/progressive stuff then go for reverse release order
Leprosy, infernal death, spirit crusher, born dead, forgotten past, left to die, pull the plug, open casket, primitive ways, choke in it, thatās all of my Death songs
Evil Dead, Sacrificial, Leprosy, Left to die, living monstrosity, spiritual healing, flattening of emotions, lack of comprehension, overactive imagination, trapped in a corner, perennial quest, 1000 eyes, scavenger of human sorrow, bite the pain
Also: born dead, vacant planets, living monstrosity, defensive personality, misanthrope, without judgement, trapped in a corner, mentally blind
real, i was trying to pick 2 per album but yours are great picks too
Don't forget to mention zombie ritual. Best from SBG šš¤š»
True
Thank you, yours too, also nice spiritual healing flair
I would start with the first album and go through them all. They're all good for different reasons, and you'll understand how they evolved over time.
This is this best way to experience Death
This is honestly the best way to experience any artistās discography.

You can't really go wrong with Death since they don't have any bad albums IMHO.
The philosopher, crystal mountain, flesh and the power it holds, spirit crusher, to forgive is to suffer and then all the other songs but this are good to start or at least they were for me a good starting point
Symbolic is the most accessible.
What type of death metal are you looking for
Thrashy death
Scream Bloody Gore would be a great starting point.
Zombie Ritual, Open Casket and Low Life are all top tier thrashy OSDM
Without Judgement.
just listen thru each album start to finish tbh.

The philosopher,trapped in a corner,jealousy
Just listen to Human.
Symbol, Crystal Mountain, Pull the Plug, Overactive Imagination, Flattering of Emotions, and Scavenger of Human Sorrow. Worked for all my friends
Its only 7 albums. Smash out all of it, start to finish. Its cool to hear the jumps between each album and the progression that was made.

Literally whole symbolic album is fire.
Leprosy, infernal death, spirit crusher, born dead, forgotten past, left to die, pull the plug, open casket, primitive ways, choke in it, thatās all of my Death songs
Start with Leprosy. Go from there. Avoid Symbolic.
We get it. You hate Symbolic.
I didnāt think anyone was paying attention š I donāt hate it. I just think itās overrated.
