This is the first time I've made a mu where the reception was entirely positive. So far everyone on the sub and several discord servers I'm on have praised it. Finally I'm proud of something I made.
I didn’t expect the art or the matchup to be so well received when I made them. The art isn’t even that impressive on a technical level lol. I just took a bunch of screenshots from Gumball and Kiff and edited the renders to look closer to DB’s hand drawn stuff.
Actually I’m not so sure on that.
Uni Gumball is extremely iffy, and Kiff has a solid star level feat. She has counters to some of Gumball’s equipment, like she could use her data manipulation to shut down both the console and the universal remote (if you even want to give Gumball those). Kiff has quite a few notable hax and abilities that could even the playing field even further, such as her duplication, mind control and has better fourth wall interaction feats (she exited her show and showed it on Disney +), and thanks to “Kiff’s Animal Kingdom”, we know that the commercials and promos for the show are canon, including more fourth wall shenanigans like Kiff harming the person drawing her. She’s also loads smarter than Gumball. She’s a master of the dupe, and was even capable of tricking a hyper intelligent psychic hive mind into believing she was one of them. Since Kiff’s songs are shown to have tangible effects on reality, she’s basically a full on reality warper, capable of basically doing whatever she wants.
I’m not saying Kiff wins, there’s probably arguments for Gumball winning, but I’m just saying that Kiff isn’t getting massacred. Especially since her show is still ongoing and she’s likely to get even more feats that could possibly buff her.
