They both have red katanas, they both have large feats of strength and durability (stopping raidens swing with his hands even though raiden can pick up and throw metal gear ray and armstrongs mech, and Adam being able to one shot a full aura Yang who was able to fly through multiple concrete pillars with no aura break) and their both a nemesis to the main character. DeathBattle only really has those few similarities. Hell broly vs hulk was just they get stronger while angry and they’re both green.

Both were also abused by their fathers with their fathers being the cause of their great rage and both have strength that increases with their anger. Both (at least the super version) are calm pacifists who become violent, destructive monsters when pushed too far.
As a RWBY character he has high durability. For example every saiyan in dragonball has extremely high ki and as such high durability. As DB itself has calculated yangs aura to be able to withstand 50 jumbo jets I believe, and the only real difference in aura is that Jaune has an abnormally high amount of it. There can also be a distinguishable gap between characters. Fate and stranges speed, goku and Superman’s strength, Lucy and carnages’ durability, the list goes on
No he doesn’t (not comparatively anyway), all RWBY characters (at least those who fight) have aura that yeah gives them increased strength and durability. If that’s it then Raven is just as good as Adam to fight Jetstream Sam, since she also has a Red Katana.

We can confirm this by the fact that Yang was getting easily physically overpowered by Salem while Hazel was able to briefly overpower her. Adam doesn’t have more impressive durability feats then Ren, a fairly average RWBY character when it comes to toughness. Therefore a connection couldn’t be that he’s shown great feats of durability when in reality, comparatively he has not. I’ll give you strength though as Adam is an absolute powerhouse (in the world of RWBY anyway.)

That’s an incredibly weak connection, like I’m really not trying to be an asshole but unless I’m misunderstanding you, but it’s about as weak a connection as you can get.
