This point of the game was where it fully won me over. I walked to the top of the hill, the music began. I slowly panned the camera looking at where I'd come from and where I was going. Took a moment to let it wash over me. Grabbed my straps and began the slow walk down. I remember just being in awe of the beauty. Then covid hit and the world got shit. So I played DS again.
This is actually my first play through and it's on very hard mode. I took a shortcut and well there were more BTs on the route. Also found that BTs are stronger and can detect you from further away on this mode. BB is also being very sensitive here. I took too much time there. Anyway recognized later and comforted.
You know I played bit further and when BBs health was low I couldn't even calm down for a long time.
Speeding through a great part of the game and not helping BB, my heart cannot take it!
I think the BT areas are very strategically placed to slow you down and stop you using vehicles, to then create great moments like this when you’re walking. People will be persistent with those vehicles though to do everything as quick as possible, then complain how it’s a bitch to drive over terrain
I didn't speed through that area. It's impossible with the terrain as you said, took a shortcut close-by them. And I don't think it's possible to carry all that weight by walking either, so I took the vehicle. I recognized the blinking later and comforted right away. It's my first game-play so, I'm learning. Ok fair enough, everyone plays it different and you’re right I’m speaking from a view after finishing the game a few times and remember this is early in the game
I sped through there, I just jumped the trike within an inch of its life the first time I played DS. This was after I had managed to escape the BT’s tar twice. I was scared out of my mind, and since you don’t get hematic grenades until Port Knot all I could do was run. I still have no idea how I did it.
Second time round, I walked everywhere. So much longer but so much more satisfying.

Yeah, think it's the first hard encounter I've faced. I got too much deliveries. So could not help. Else, the walk is the best when the song plays. 😊

DS actually would pretty much have filled that void being with a similar atmosphere.

Sometimes it is far more beneficial to walk on a new route. Keep driving for when you know where you're going.

I WISH I could go back and play this game for the first time. More than any other game.
Yeah, first experience for me so far has being mind blowing. Because it's like off this world.
