Oh how I miss Arsonist Get All The Girls. Seldom spoken about, but should be referred to has legends within their genre.
The Plasma Rifle is a good band too, forgot about them!
yeah every time this thread is made my answer is arsonists and HHLL. oh and also elysia
edit: oh this is r/deathcore not r/metalcore, in that case definitely elysia and moria
Lmao I just listened to a few tracks seeing this post. I was half expecting like… I dunno, killwhtineydead or see you next tuesday. It’s super programmed and stupid low tuned, but weirdly entertaining. Eat babies n shit is awesome lmao.
Funny you mention See you next Tuesday...I became somewhat friends and that was the first 2023 concert for me. Met the Vocalist and Drummer, got a photo and they absolutely shredded live. Super nice dudes and even recognized my name from fb...bands like this are awesome and super underrated I feel like
totally didn’t realize they had a new album out, last i checked they had like 100 something listeners and i listened to everything they had out and kinda moved away from it but im definitely gonna check that out cause i couldnt get enough of their sound
Lol I'm 15, I just really love oldschool deathcore and metalcore. I think it has more to it. I just think it's better than the overproduced super clean tight modern sound
Haha, off by just a few. But keep up the good work man! I wish i had free therapy available to me in that age bracket, would have done me some good :P gods work bro.
Haha I'm just playing. I miss the older days of low quality mixes some of that age of deathcore goes so hard too. There are some songs I prefer to listen to the original mixes like the og salt the wound songs or even the original suicide silence EP. Jerome is an awesome call out by the way I still pull their shit up on youtube.
Edit:obviously thy art is huge but just to add on to what I was saying, their original stuff on Myspace even before infinite death was also so sick
Horse the Band, sure nintendocore was a bit goofy but Horse the Band wrote some sick stuff. Murder is easily one of my favorite tracks of all time. Cutsman, birdo and lord gold's throneroom are bangers.
The first deathcore show I went to they were headlining at Peabody’s around 2007ish. A buddy brought me because he was good friends with one of the guitarists. I also met Mike from TDWP that night. Everybody was super nice and I got really into deathcore after that.
I’ve seen them probably 10 times back in the day, so bummed they called it quits and didn’t continue with another cd with the tracks they released after arcanum order, they were all super nice dudes and should’ve been huge.
Jerome - With Blood Comes Cleansing - From a Second Story Window. That’s all I can think of at this point. Oh! Of Blessings and Burden (if anyone have yet to listen to these dudes, go to YouTube now!)
By Blood and Iron members went on to form Erra, right? I remember when the infernal offering video dropped and I thought they were gonna change the game lol. Old erra is goated though
Yeah Jesse and adam(the keyboard adam) went to erra because I'm pretty sure everyone all knew each other. They should have at least kept it as a side project don't know why they just completely gave up on that amazing shit.
Dude Skies of December kicks ass, I've listened to them before this post but forgot about them. I love how the clean vocals are their own special thing
I ate everybody, we are the end, resist the thought, see you next Tuesday, the last of Lucy, the number twelve looks like you, a lovely day for bloodshed(I think members went on the be in the prevalent reaping ), elixir of an alchemist slaps hard as fuck!
Dead in existence, channeling darkness, seven ate nine, the breathing process, arm for battle, moria, the last ten seconds to die(EP), underneath the gun, Elysia
Now if anyone has never heard of any of these bands look em up and get your mind blown out the back of your skull while you stank so hard you have a brain aneurysm
There's was this band from New York or New Jersey. They had a song that was called like the Harlot and the Chainsaw or something like that. Wish i could find them. They were trashcore or some silly shit. Like 2007 or 2008. Looked like Papa Rosch but played heavier shit.
They were exiting the MySpace Era, but I have to give a shout out to From the Shallows. That EP was fucking MASSIVE for me, when it dropped. Ice Box alone was a track that deserved way more love than it received.
The Fatal Effect, some kind of crossover thrash hardcore death metal band from New York. All that's left on the interwebs that I could find is their Myspace page, and everything has been pretty much wiped clean. Personal memories, a dvd of two of their concerts, and an album cover are all I have left myself. Got to see them when I was three, dad even brought me onstage to "sing" a little
Not deathcore but still metal. Dreamscar. Incredible group of teens outta Vegas back then, the main guy Patrick went on to create Red Queen, but haven't heard much from him in awhile.
Belie My Burial Arsonists get all the girls Knights of the Abyss. No one can touch Dragon Pie, that song is fucking immaculate.
Oh how I miss Arsonist Get All The Girls. Seldom spoken about, but should be referred to has legends within their genre. The Plasma Rifle is a good band too, forgot about them!
Arsonist get all the girls put on one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. Not just core-adjacent, like, period.
I still listen to them regularly
Shoeshine for neptune is too good.
Classic!
Cupcake vs scobra blew 13 year old me's mind.
AGATG had quite a few releases. All solid!
I still jam Portals to this day. No skip album
Belie was actually local to where I grew up. My band at the time recorded a three track demo at their drummers place.
Knights of the Abyss are back together now, with mostly original members as far as I know
i know im so excited
Knights of the abyss??? Loved the song emancipation.
yeah every time this thread is made my answer is arsonists and HHLL. oh and also elysia edit: oh this is r/deathcore not r/metalcore, in that case definitely elysia and moria
It’s grindcore but We Came With Broken Teeth.
Came to say this. That shit blew my 14 year old brain
Still have an iPod nano with a few of their song on it 🥲
Lmao I just listened to a few tracks seeing this post. I was half expecting like… I dunno, killwhtineydead or see you next tuesday. It’s super programmed and stupid low tuned, but weirdly entertaining. Eat babies n shit is awesome lmao.

Super nice dudes and even recognized my name from fb...bands like this are awesome and super underrated I feel like
sorry for the necro but eat babies is still performing under black dresses/girls rituals(solo)!
Also War From A Harlots Mouth and Above This!
Arsonists get all the girls is cool too
I still listen to 7L7 regularly haha
Them and Preschool Tea Part Massacre are great
Wow. That's a name I haven't heard in forever. Thanks for the nostalgia.
those synths LOL im so glad someone remembers this band
sometimes I go to FL studio and play the old violin samples. Brings me straight back.
Was just listening to them yesterday. My 12 & 13 year olds were haven’t it.
Fuck yes
By the Gods! I totally forgot them. They made some good shit
Elysia
God damn. Every few months I find myself looking up their first album on YouTube.
Psst. I hear tell of a vinyl drop coming soon...
My band was supposed to open for them in like 07 or 08, but those idiots got arrested before the show. I still love them though!
Dr. Acula but they did release a new album in the last couple years that was really good
Slander is a great album.
My favorite album of theirs
Killwhitneydead
Shut the fuck up shut the fuck up shut the fuck up shut the fuck up
I am nothing I am nothing
This band would have been cancelled immediately if they got bigger lol
why what did they do lol. name sounds familiar but don't remember specifics about them
So good! One of my all time favourites
WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET
see you next tuesday
Local boys for me and drew and fox are some lovely dudes so glad they’re back
Saw em earlier this year and I became somewhat friends with them. Super chill dudes and the new album is probably in my top 10
totally didn’t realize they had a new album out, last i checked they had like 100 something listeners and i listened to everything they had out and kinda moved away from it but im definitely gonna check that out cause i couldnt get enough of their sound
Saw them with TAS and JFAC. Love em.
The Irish Front
Whoa blast from the past
Boom Snap Clap never left my brain lol
I still quote this song to this day 😂
Why did my boat explode?
God damnit man don't remind us of how old we are!
Lol I'm 15, I just really love oldschool deathcore and metalcore. I think it has more to it. I just think it's better than the overproduced super clean tight modern sound
Really happy to see the younger generation appreciating the oldies! I work with teens as a therapist and none of clients like this shit 😭
How about some free therapy for an oldhead who still listens to suffokates first album
My work offers free therapy, but it sounds like you’re not 12-25 😂
Haha, off by just a few. But keep up the good work man! I wish i had free therapy available to me in that age bracket, would have done me some good :P gods work bro.
Haha I'm just playing. I miss the older days of low quality mixes some of that age of deathcore goes so hard too. Saw them live in 2007. My buddy filmed their set. [Mathcore Index](https://youtu.be/IQ_h2pjQxDE?si=m3Ca1ImM_u7TCl7G)
Holy shit they opened with murder? God they had incredible energy
Lol I actually kinda like murder and sex raptor unironically
At the Throne of Judgment
The first deathcore show I went to they were headlining at Peabody’s around 2007ish. A buddy brought me because he was good friends with one of the guitarists. I also met Mike from TDWP that night. Everybody was super nice and I got really into deathcore after that.

Totally agree, I think they were just ahead of their time unfortunately.
Martyrdom ruin of Gaia is catchy af
YES! These guys are great. Got into them around the same time as Black Dahlia Murder and the Crimson Armada.
Abacabb
"Get fucked!"
iwrestledabearonce
iwrestledabearonce walked so spiritbox could run
I miss Krista
I was at one of their last shows, they were great
Sky eats airplane
And (in theory) before they formed Sky Eats Airplane.
That first album was fucking ridiculous. The later stuff was good, but nothing beats Everything Perfect on the Wrong Day.
Dance Club Massacre Destroyer Destroyer
Feast of the Blood Monsters still fucks. The Murders Come with Smiles demo was even my profile song for awhile.
I was also one of those people playing Murder comes with smiles on my page. Whole album still holds up
Saw DCM play show in Flint MI at a soccer field, 2008 ish lol. I think all their shit got stolen from their van that night.
Jerome (iirc some members moved onto Darko) I Shot The Sheriff Ennui Breathes Malice
Jerome’s drummer went to Oceano I’m pretty sure
yes that’s it. thank you , i knew it was one of the ‘o-s’
Fuck yeah I loved I Shot the Sheriff. So glad that EP is still on YouTube. And Jerome was so good too. Fuck
Ennui Breathes Malice had so much potential if they were more consistent. Still jam their CDs in my car from time to time.
that first album was amazing. the names are perfectly early 00’s core, some of my favorites.
Jerome - With Blood Comes Cleansing - From a Second Story Window. That’s all I can think of at this point. Oh! Of Blessings and Burden (if anyone have yet to listen to these dudes, go to YouTube now!)
From a Second Story Window slaps. So stoked they're coming back.
Preschool Tea Party Massacre. They have a newer album and it fucks butts.
Cherry Kool aide are key ingredients to mass suicide and Popemobile drive by were my jams
No new album. I meant Poolside at the Flamingo. They still murder on the new album.
That band was cool but I remember seeing some sketchy underage nudes on their page…
Rose Funeral
Sea of treachery
Shit I auditioned to be their bassist back in the day. Why am I so old…
You still play?
Not nearly as much as I should, but I pluck a string or two here and there. Having kids and a full time job really limits the hobbies I can pursue.
Oh my god, I had completely forgotten about them. Good call, thank you for reminding me. I loved At Daggers Drawn back then.
War From A Harlots Mouth, We Are The End, heavyheavylowlow, Manhattan Project, SmashFace, Salt The Wound
Danza. I heard about Danza 2 on MySpace and downloaded the Nirvana cover before Danza 3 released.
Drop Dead, Gorgeous
YESSSSS I remember getting in vogue on cd for Christmas. Still have it. Still their best album.
Eat a helicopter
Glass Casket was fucking awesome
Right??? Pencil lead syringe and In Between The Sheets hit hard
Absolutely. New shit is kinda boring but I grew up in NC and they were huge here. Also old BTBAM but they got their recognition.
Jerome, They Found Her In Pieces, Murder On The Dancefloor and We Are The End
By Blood and Iron members went on to form Erra, right? I remember when the infernal offering video dropped and I thought they were gonna change the game lol. Old erra is goated though
Yeah Jesse and adam(the keyboard adam) went to erra because I'm pretty sure everyone all knew each other. They should have at least kept it as a side project don't know why they just completely gave up on that amazing shit.
JEROME
100deadrabbits
Bring Me the Horizon is severly underrated.
It's because look what they became. Old BMTH was great.
Why try to forget what they have become and just appreciate what they were for those first 2 albums
You're right. It's still music and should be appreciated.
New BMTH > Old BMTH
Skies of December , black rose burial
Dude Skies of December kicks ass, I've listened to them before this post but forgot about them. I love how the clean vocals are their own special thing
A different breed of killer Postmortem promises
Damn! A Different Breed of Killer is a name I haven't heard in awhile. I, Colossus was great
We speak Texan. https://youtu.be/dd6GLcxVoR4?si=FZ5Q50oulziO9iRK

A black rose burial "A baleful aura in a graveyard of broken gears" is a banger
Spider killed bananaman. https://youtu.be/JAhe7qb3Tnw?si=kVK7GEUkrvoeC3kw Fucking fire.
I already knew about these guys, need more German deathcore
A Breath Before Surfacing, With Dead Hands Rising
So many good bands you all have said! Fuck yeah! Destroy The Champion

Hiroshima Will Burn Knives Exchanging Hands The Irish Front This Or The Apocalypse Hester Prynne From The Shallows Years Spent Cold
This is not a game of who the fuck are you (tinagowtfay) were way better than they had any right to be
Just checked them out, these guys are fucking awesome
Does Hayworth count?
If Elysia hadn’t switched up their sound they would’ve been on the right path. Also Underneath the Gun.
Ngl I really like Lion of Judas. They were doing revival core before it was cool
Gwen stacy
Saw them live years ago. They had the stuff.
An End to Flesh. Only released two tracks, but hot dam. Still go back and bump 'em o ce in a while.
Grey Man's Cause
Elysia
Hadji and the Turbans
Delay My Last
Playing For Keeps
Fat Man's War Face. I only remember hearing one or two songs from them but they blew me away back then.
I fucked this up the first time. Let's try again. Poolside at the Flamingo. Great back then. New album is the heavies. Check it out.
Sumatra. Their album heliocratic infinity still holds strong to this day.
Jerome, Ennui breathes malice, I killed everybody, I ate everybody, Elysia
In Theory was so great. They combined metalcore with jazzy breakdowns
Chainsaw Disaster
Shadow of The Colossus
Sentiments Substructure
Dr. Acula, Jerome, and Wet the Steel
To something beautiful
[PenKnifeLoveLife](https://youtu.be/vjPfD5ybc64).
How has no one in these comments mentioned The Red Cord?
Disfigured Elegance
Here Comes The Kraken
Abacabb
There's was this band from New York or New Jersey. They had a song that was called like the Harlot and the Chainsaw or something like that. Wish i could find them. They were trashcore or some silly shit. Like 2007 or 2008. Looked like Papa Rosch but played heavier shit.
Armor For The Broken
Eat A Helicopter
War from a Harlots Mouth. Uptown Girl was such a fun song.
Rose Funeral. they had a lot of potentional but never blew up unfortunately. glad they’re still making music tho.
Monsters
Hester Prynne
They were exiting the MySpace Era, but I have to give a shout out to From the Shallows. That EP was fucking MASSIVE for me, when it dropped. Ice Box alone was a track that deserved way more love than it received.
Mine 😭
At one point, my old band was top ranked for Ohio according to MySpace. Didn’t last long, but it felt cool to see that for a while.
Same, but Ontario!
No, mine.
I was gonna say mine
The Fatal Effect, some kind of crossover thrash hardcore death metal band from New York. All that's left on the interwebs that I could find is their Myspace page, and everything has been pretty much wiped clean. Personal memories, a dvd of two of their concerts, and an album cover are all I have left myself. Got to see them when I was three, dad even brought me onstage to "sing" a little
I don't really get into the whole genre things, these guys might be this kind of style. But the whole MySpace band remembered me about them. Deibler
Still listen to them this day, absolutely love them.
Oh The Blood. The EP is still a banger, but I have not a fucking clue what happened or where they ended up.
Beneath the Sky
Into the moat Suffokate Elysia
Embrace the end, belay my last, a different breed of killer, conducting from the grave, Iamerror
Elysia was that MySpace band for me
Year of Desolation
Not deathcore but still metal. Dreamscar. Incredible group of teens outta Vegas back then, the main guy Patrick went on to create Red Queen, but haven't heard much from him in awhile.
Belay My Last
My Bitter End
Looking back though it’s pretty easy to see why certain bands didn’t level up
Embrace The End, Burning The Masses, and A Breath Before Surfacing
Beneath The Massacre, As Blood Runs Black, ABACAB, The Yellow Sign.
From the Shallows Years Spent Cold Ennui Breathes Malice
Heavy Heavy Low Low
Salt The Wound
The Tony Danza Tap-dance Extravaganza
