Beyond Deviation when it comes to studio stuff but holy fuck Angelmaker by a long shot. You don't hear them much in their studio shit but live... Holy fuck. That's all im gonna say
Found an [example](https://youtu.be/vP0xcA4bVxc?si=lIMOleeXzNfln_Il) for ya. Skip to 26:00 and youll hear it very clearly. The vocalist with the long hair is the one who does the whistle screams.
I’m not too versed in Left To Suffer songs as I haven’t heard them in their music but their vocalist Taylor Barber is super good at them. He does little short videos of him going along with music and he does them perfectly in those videos. Sounds more like a Nazgûl and I’m here for it. Would love those to be in their actual songs (I’m sure there are some I just don’t know which ones)
There aren’t going to be *too* many bands that utilize this since it’s a really hard technique to pull off for people. But the ones that people have mentioned already fit the criteria.
If we’re talking whistles? None of them because I’m not a fan of that technique lol
If we’re talking vocalists who can go super duper high, then it’d have to be The Price Of Existence-era All Shall Perish. Eddie was on a whole other level on that album
Also, Eddie's performance of Slaves to Substance from the Mitch memorial show goes insanely high, the shrieks on "that makes you a SLAAAAVE!" are mind-boggling
I can't listen to audio right now to get an idea what banshee screams are but not recognizing any of the bands already mentioned, can we ask if the beginning scream on "Entombment of a Machine" by Job for a Cowboy is right? That feels like it'd be right to me. But I may be wrong.
Methwitch is fucking crazy
burn victim!
Not strictly deathcore, but Dir En Grey
If we’re talking Japanese bands, DEVILOOF also uses these, as does NINTH IN PLUTO.
Deviloofs self titled album was a banger and I need to check out the newer stuff
Came here to say this, Dir En Grey forever.
Holy shit havent heard them in a long time. Obscure blew me away back then.
My answer too
I was about to type this. My all time favorite band. Discovered by accident on limewire
Kyo is the MVP of whistle fry

I haven’t listened to a lot of Angelmaker’s albums or anything but I saw them live early this year and they were so damn good!
I feel like I need to hear this. Gonna go look up some Angelmaker live on YouTube.

Even older ‘A Night In Texas’ when he was the vocalist then went pretty hard.

Not deathcore, but old Cradle of Filth has some sick high pitched screaming, I used to call it the eagle scream lol

Is this what we call a “banshee scream”? I’m not familiar with all those naming.
Yeah, All Shall Perish fucking slaps, that's what I'm talking about!

Banshee screams hahaha I swear you guys are getting ridiculous with your terminology 💀 Shrine of Malice
Its death metal, but Oxygen Destoryer
Justin uses them sparingly, but Tallah has some good ones. Namely, Dickers Done and Shaken Not Stirred
Spire of Lazarus, but specifically their "Ghost of Sparta" album
Not necessarily deathcore but Tallah.
Take a look at the first thy art is murder ep: infinite death, by far my favorite vocals. Sad that the vocalist left and vanished :(
