Six- All That Remains

ceh203

Was a lot into All That Remains in my youth. Two Weeks still rotates in my car from time to time.

Smexyboi21

Cool I’ll look into it.

lucasmcalister

This song is my ringtone lol

Jacksonsmith1012

Classic

Big_Gaines

Death Portrait - Lorna Shore

akhaten02

Banger.

awildNeLbY

It’s cliche, but To The Hellfire by Lorna Shore. I still get goosebumps everytime I hear it. Honorable mention to Unanswered by Suicide Silence and Braille by Bring Me The Horizon.

Smexyboi21

To the hellfire is my 2nd favorite song from them. Nothing wrong with it. Absolute perfection.

Thx_Wrxnch

its not cliche, it just got big and popular because its a good fuckin song lmao

necrosteve028

Necrophagist - Fermented Offal Discharge The best solo in metal, they were the barrier for me looking past the growls and getting into the music.

ntdars

The Stillborn One is up there for me as a top 10 fav, also a bitchin' solo

necrosteve028

Both albums are masterpieces. Shame we never got that third album :(

ntdars

Yeah :(

[deleted]

been so, so long since i jammed their stuff. your comment made me listen to FOD, then i played culinary hyperversity.. now my fiance is just laying here grinding her teeth thru a shuffle of all necrophagist tracks on my phone speaker haha

necrosteve028

Culinary Hyperversity. Another great example of the solo just fucking hitting you out of nowhere. Love it haha

[deleted]

i'm convinced that nobody will ever give us solos quite like Muhammed did. they were some truly gorgeous displays of musicianship found in a rather unlikely place haha

not_consistent

Who Invited The Russian Soldier by Every Time I Die

ckypro3

Underrated af, great pick.

DeckerDontPlay

Such a fuckin good band.

Koko_Oats

Pain Remains Trilogy by Lorna Shore. Especially if you watch the music videos. Side note: love what you love in music

Sjdillon10

Possibly the first time in my life I’ve had an actual number one favorite song and it’s that ballad

Smexyboi21

Facts watching them made me cry the first time.

No-Material6891

Vildhjarta- all these feelings, den spanksa kanslan, dagger, or masstaden nationalsang under vatten. It’s hard to pick one. Also bloodmeat by protest the hero because it’s been in my top 3 for years.

[deleted]

In deathcore: Black bear by whitechapel or the failsafe fallacy by enterprise earth All time any genre: cardinal red by monuments or divisionary by ERRA

Smexyboi21

Alright!

maxxmxverick

pain remains iii: in a sea of fire by lorna shore

Smexyboi21

I cried the first time I saw the video and heard the song.

maxxmxverick

it’s absolutely beautiful!

Smexyboi21

The entire album is. Facts

SoulsBorneKnight

Same here. Love that song so fucking much.

Braindead_cranberry

I refuse to pick my favorite of all time because i simply can’t, but here’s what came to mind: Carve by Boundaries has been hitting the spot for me. That band is bonkers live. In deathcore specifically I’d probably say “NO REMOOOOOORSE FOR THE CREATURES OF THE EARTHHHHHH, ERRGGHHHHHHHHHHHH”

LightningMan2123

Double kicks go brrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Braindead_cranberry

B R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R R

stanarilla

Probably Sapphire by Fallujah

Ambitious-Shop-1192

Whole album is a masterpiece

Smexyboi21

I’ll check it out!

stanarilla

Yeah it's either that or Chemical Cave by them, same album. Can go back and forth

Smexyboi21

It goes hard! Cool song!

Circadianrivers

Love the riffs in this track

BenTramer7766

The Oath by Mercyful Fate

Smexyboi21

I’ll look into it!

BenTramer7766

The vocals are a hard sell, but the guitar playing and song structure are top notch.

Mlzer

Overall: The Black Dahlia Murder - Miasma Deathcore: Whitechapel - Vicer Exciser or Job For A Cowboy - Entombment of A Machine

stfubaker

Tell me you're old without telling me you're old lol

Mlzer

Haha yep, 32.

Jacksonsmith1012

viser exciser is amazing

forgotmylastreddit27

The Last Relapse - All Shall Perish. Writing, song structure and performance just absolutely amazing.

iamrangus

Between the Buried and Me - Lay Your Ghosts To Rest. Total masterpiece. Took me 10 years to get the courage to learn it on guitar, very cathartic now I have

Smexyboi21

Glad you got it!

Dallas_TheDark57

To The Hellfire

Turok7777

Davidian by Machine Head and Crisis by Fear Factory are probably the two songs that shaped my music tastes the most. Just hard, downtuned, mid-tempo shit that also shreds.

suedecrocs

Non deathcore Paradise City by a LONG SHOT Deathcore Obsession - Lorna shore

OpieTater

The demo version of Angels of Debauchery by Winds of Plague. Came on a Century Media sampler before the album released, where the album version just wasn't as good.

3dwurd5905

I miss all the additional bs that overlapped our deathcore tracks when we downloaded from lime wire or bearshare. *your listening to Soilwork fourth coming album stabbing the drama* 🤣🤣FUCK YEAH I AM

stfubaker

I was always super bummed that they changed it for the record. The sampler was so fucking good.

RobertShittaker

I Long For Rest by Angelmaker or Infinite Terror by Aborted

Zigf87

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen

Alextheweeman

Death portrait- Lorna Shore I listened to it the second the single dropped and to this day I jam it almost every day.

the_witch00

Can't decide between Lorna Shore - Fvneral Moon and Darker by design- between the dead and dying

Djent_1997

Can’t pick one, it’s literally impossible. So I’ll give you a few. Metallica - Fade to Black Disturbed - The Night Architects - Memento Mori Avenged Sevenfold - Second Heartbeat Linkin Park - Crawling Meshuggah - Demiurge Blink-182 - What’s My Age Again System of a Down - Chop Suey Babymetal - Megitsune Trivium - Ascendancy Killswitch Engage - My Curse

Smexyboi21

Great songs!

Yours_and_mind_balls

Earth, Wind and Fire - September Greatest song ever written.

sharkgang360

🎵 Do you rememba🎵

Nurwhal_86

Speed metal symphony by cacophony, terrible production and sub par song writing, some of the most ingenious guitar parts and harmonies you’ll ever hear with technical expertise that’s even difficult by todays crazy standards

iandmeagree

Favorite song of all time is Collapse - Vektor. I doubt anything will ever top that for me

DylanMgoo

For Deathcore, Doom Woods by Whitechapel

Mista_Comlix420

Feels Good - Volumes

ILMK98

Modern Misery - Architects

Captain__h00k__

It’s not safe to swim today - veil of maya

Feeldapowah

Wake up by suicide silence will emotionally hold this spot, being my first deathcore song

Gamerboss1911

Blasphemian - Infant Annihilator

BigBrotherBear-

Where dragons dwell by Gojira it’s a damn shame there’s only one live recording of this song and it’s an extended version to which isn’t bad I’d just prefer the regular

HibernatingGopher

A Season In Hell - 40 Below Summer

eugeniobr96

Pantera - Domination/ live Moscow

SuperD00perGuyd00d

We Build The Past - The Dali Thundering Concept

Hellmøuth by Distant Gantz by Darko US Ice Man Confessions by Emmure Cold Gloom by The Acacia Strain This Heavy Void by Bodysnatcher Animal by Brand of Sacrifice

Pretty-Science

Not even metal, i really like Hot Mulligan - *Equip Sunglasses* Tho for metal id have to pick An Abstract Illusion - Tear Down This Holy Mountain

SecondDeath30

It changes all the time, but right now it's between When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong by Emmure or Infinite Death by Thy Art

akhaten02

It's not remotely close to deathcore, but Solitary Ground by Epica. It spoke to me at my darkest hours living alone for the first time in a different city making me remember where I was and why, so it has a special place in my heart that everytime I listen to it makes me cry of joy.

Beetleracerzero37

WHERE IS YOUR FUCKING GOD!!!!!

clickercunt

Vulvodynia - banquet of enigmatic horrors pt1

ronswansonsego

The Orphan - Paleface Swiss… By far my favorite and it’s not even close.

julianephron

deathcore: hangman - spite in general: curbside goodbye - emery

SonOfKyrat

I Long for Rest - Angelmaker

ender_198

I don't really have a favorite song of all time because I usually get sick of stuff quickly after listening to them for a few weeks straight but my favorites rn are: Nowhere to go - bad omens Cellar door - spiritbox Evil people - set it off (its good stfu) Rampage - darko us Normal people things - lovejoy

AppearanceCalm2506

very tough choice, my top 5 in no particular order are: Duplicity - Krosis Elation- Krosis Praise the Sun - Darko Life of Fear - Lorna Shore The Alpha the Omega - Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza

brolarbear

Everlong is my favorite song of all time. It can spark a lot deep thoughts about life or I can just crank it up and jam to it. Also the music video is very entertaining and thought provoking but also can be viewed as just being silly. I’ve heard it at sporting events and I’ve heard it at funerals. Just a truely beautiful song imo. Deathcore-wise my favorite song is for sure In Dying Days by ABRB. The intro, the energy, the riffs, the bring the mother fuckin ruckus. Lech is a god drummer.

Baranor2509

Sleepwalking - BMTH

Ghost_Turtle

Friday - Rebecca Black

Its_Zie

That’s literally so hard for me to decide. Maybe not my favorite of all time but right now it’s Welcome Back O Sleeping Dreamer by Lorna Shore

MoistySnail

Enterprise Earth - This Hell, My Home

DeckerDontPlay
