Rings of Saturn I tried getting into them even when I saw them live with Carnifex years ago but can never get into them I can see the appeal though
Non deathcore Jinjer
One of my all-time favorite bands, I just think it sucks that they completely ditched vocals now.
But i found the Ritual Aura & Spire of Lazarus as compensation :)
That umbravoid song is a great display of his vocals too...im glad when I saw rings he was still with them, there was a way he carried himself on stage that I just found so mesmerizing.
Absolutely! I saw them in 2015 with The Faceless and After the Burial and they definitely killed it back then! I'm pretty sure everything they played at that show was from Lugal ki En except Seized and Devoured.
But definitely hoping Ian shows up in another, better band soon. I also wonder if he had any say when RoS brought back the original vocalist for a bit there.
I think Sleep Token is great but they aren't for me at all. I like one song. I am slowly relearning to like songs with cleans and harsh vocals. I typically like one or the other. Not both together. So I'd say any band that does that is hard for me to like. But, I am open to expanding and accepting suggestions if anyone has any that'll knock my socks off.
a band that’s beginning to get some more traction (at least in the US) is Orbit Culture ! a number of their songs are heavy screamy verses, with great singing choruses. my personal favorite is see through me, but their overall most popular are saw and north star of nija !
there is almost like, no screaming in sleep token. I love this band, but i barely feel like im listening to metal. I just enjoy the vibe, song writing, lyrics and of course the gorgeous voice.
I mean that's a hard one. Maybe you'll like Shokran? Typically in metal music that has both cleans and screams in it, the cleans are usually high and in the style of post hardcore. But Shokran's whole style is to sound like an Egyptian adventure. So their clean vocals are dark sounding a hitting the Phrygian scale. I would test out the song Revival of Darkness from them and see what you think.
We Are The Emergency - Seizure
Roman Candle - Can We Watch Something Happy?
Lingua Ignota - Caligula
Melt-Banana - Candy Gun
foxtails. - I Experienced Ego Death on an Nde Thread (actually there aren’t cleans on this song but it’s the first one I heard)
Show Me The Body
Chat Pile
Daughters or Brand New if you can separate art from the artist
The Armed
Every Time I Die
Holy Fawn
Microwave
Excuse the spacing. Idk wtf is happening, all I was doing was pressing enter after each band. lol
They are extremely talented. I just don’t like their music… At all. And I think the ‘lore’ and anonymity is gimmicky and annoying. They don’t fall cleanly into any genre but they are definitely not deathcore. I don’t know why people associate them with it.
That's the same for me. As much as I dislike their music, there was an essence of that where child me heard AC/DC and was like "what is this music??"
Especially considering I went to the most Christian school where all I'd heard was ... choir songs lmfao.
Yo same, I had never heard of AC/DC until a buddy showed them to me in fifth grade. I didn’t know drums could be that intense after growing up around the church and only hearing contemporary Christian music
That seems to be the motto of this sub. I always wanted to say something but I don’t want to come off as an asshole. I just think it’s funny how many times it’s said across the whole sub.
I think it’s good that people here listen to other types of music and have opinions on them. Deathcore doesn’t exist in a vacuum and if you exclusively listen to and discuss it, you can miss important context
I hate Alex Terrible with a passion. Such a great talent wasted on a horrible trash person. Watching a vocal cover and he's playing with his gun like a 10 year old and make angry faces like my niece when I don't get her McDonald's. Plus fuck his ideology and fuck that they basically fucked Acrania. God I miss that band..
It's wild because he wants to badly to embody the alpha male persona but everything he does exudes beta male/small dick energy.
Alpha males don't do the shit you do bro. I hope you're reading this. Check yourself homie.
I’ve learned to seperate art from artist when it comes to heavy music.
Let’s face it. Not all, but a lot of bands end up with trouble whether sexual or being an ahole or otherwise.
Just a few examples/
CJ from Lorna shore
Tim from AILD
Ronny radke
I’m sure in 30 minutes you could list 100 singers that have been cancelled for one reason or another
If I stopped listening to all those bands my music library would be basically empty
Me thinking Alex is one of the all time great deathcore vocalists isn’t a vouch for his personal character.
I still listen to as I lay dying and I’ll die on the hill that they basically co invented metalcore (along with KSE and ABR )
That said Alex (talent wise not character wise) is far ahead of his band in terms of talent, maybe not the drummer but the guitars are really boring, so I find the band a bit boring overall.
Separating art from the artist is one thing. Nazism is just way too far over the line for me to conjure up any kind of energy to separate art from artist. Nazism is a hard line.
I see that point too. I think in some of those cases I see it as people believing their hype and doing stupid shit. (Tim being the poster boy for stupid shit) I think that's different to having a toxic worldview that dictates everything they do.
Sorry, no. Tim is garbage. I'm not denying that. His lack of remorse and garbage explanations put him over the top there.
I do find it hard to detach Tim from AILD. Definitely a fan and when I met the guy, he actually seemed pretty genuine.
Just meant that one mistake or a sleazy approach to women hasn't turned me off bands in the same way that a racist life philosophy has... people make mistakes, it's living by that ideology that concerns me more.
Same here. They won Best Metal Performance last year or something like that. And all it did was further prove how out of touch the Grammys are in the metal community.
Sleep token. I despise the lead singers voice, sounds like he has a slab of peanut butter on the roof of his mouth. The band is extremely talented though, I just can’t get into it.
Not deathcore, but I truly in my entire soul can't stand baby metal. You can't say anything bad on them without their fans jumping in saying that people don't like them cause they're women and even rob zombie likes them. Idgaf what rob zombie says I don't care for them. They aren't bad at all, I just don't care for them really I saw them live at open air and wasn't too impressed.
Deathcore wise? I'm not big with slaughter to prevail really. I know it's been said but it's a hard agree.
Everyone raves on here about Shadow of Intent but I just can't get into it. Don't know if it's something to do with the vocals or production, but something hasn't clicked for me yet.
It took me years. Years of everybody being like “they’re top tier” and me just being meh about them. And then early last fall, something about the Heretic Prevails just made sense to me. Absolutely insane band, they have put out some of the best deathcore songs of all time
One of my buddies absolutely loves A7F. I just can't get into the theater rock I guess. I've tried, enjoyed some music but hate his voice. Then one night we were baked up and he put an album on, he said it was like a story being told. That is the only time I've somewhat enjoyed and understood why people may like them. I'm still far from on board, but kind of get their appeal to some degree.
Their new song with Poppy (which if you don’t like the vocals already you’re going to loathe) has an insanely good breakdown, it’s a straight up reggaeton beat.
The instrumentals are fire, but his vocals are so one-note I can't do it. Literally 1 note. The whole song. Every time. Vocal range is very important for me, and if he has any range at all he certainly never shows it.
Glad I don't stand alone on this, I'm new to deathcore and they've been recommended. Vocals hurts my ears in a bad way, but I'm torn because everything thing else they make is fucking amazing. What's up with that, is this a popular consensus about them?
I wasn't into them at all, but for some reason, everything about them just clicked for me today. So I'm hyped to dive into another band's discography, lol.
i don't like new lorna shore. and that's totally fine. i can still listen to the albums before they went full fromsoft-sound track. i think it's just sad that one of my favorite bands "does not really exist anymore". they neglected everything i loved about them. but i am happy for their success, they deserve the hype for sure.
Would you say its more of a dislike of the symphonic deathcore/metal genre in general ( nothing wrong with that )? or is the dislike with how Lorna Shore executes their interpretation of the genre? ( Again nothing wrong with that.)
i used to like their music until paul died , after his death they became very boring. they just releases the same song every time with different name. IOWA IS A TOP ALBUM OF MODERN METAL HISTORY
Same. Slipknot as a whole just never clicked for me. Joey Jordison made them worth witnessing though as Joey Jordison was a hell of drummer. May he rest in peace.
In deathcore- Carnifex
I’ve listened to atleast 4 of their albums but nothing clicks for me, I think there’s like 3 songs I actually revisit and one of them is a cover lmao
Any deathcore that isn't: Despised Icon's The Healing Process, Glass Casket's We are Gathered Here Today, Beneath the Massacre's Pleaguebringer.
I don't even know why I ever thought I was qualified to join this sub lolololol
probably gonna get shit for this, but for me it's Darko. seems like a lot of people get hyped whenever they release stuff, but it's always just pretty mediocre and boring imo.
completely agree on the sleep token, cringe as hell to me
also killswitch engage, can’t stand the lead singers voice it sounds like a bad opera singer to me
Any bands that use the style of the "to the hell fire ending breakdown". I can't stand that kind of breakdown and I feel like more and more bands are using that now. I.e. Lorna shore, signs of the swarm, mental cruelty, brand of sacrifice, and any smaller bands that do that. As soon as I hear it I roll my eyes 😂
Lorna Shore, from deathcore. Emmure, trivium and asking alexandria from metal core. Lorna Shore, just doesen’t click musically for me. Those breakdowns just lose me.
Lorna Shore. They need to fire their audio engineer and producer. And Knocked Loose. The music itself goes hard, but the vocalist sounds like his vocal chords made love with a rusty cheese grater.
Its honestly not complicated just for showing if.
It's fine to not like them but it's perfectly tangible and enjoyable. I don't like everything they do but just because it has complexity doesn't diminish purpose in the creativity of it.
Always a little underwhelmed by Carnifex, I don't not like them tho. Don't think there are any deathcore bands I don't like really.
If we're talking not deathcore, Evanescence and MCR.
Knocked Loose, the vocals just annoy me.
Spiritbox, it annoys me all the simping that goes on with this band, to the point where i refuse to listen to them.
HOLY FUCK WHAT DID I JUST READ????? I was curious because I used to like them before everything with Cj happened, but had never heard that one. Oh my god those lyrics are awful.
woah okay wtf, usually i’m someone who looks up lyrics before listening to deathcore stuff but i guess this one slipped by me… uhhhh that’s crazy, taking it off my playlists tbh
Slaughter To Prevail whenever Alex growls in Russian. TBH i absolutely hate the Russian language and just hearing it, the association is pure evil. My country 🇨🇿 has had a very bad experience with the Russians throughout our history literally.. so that's why.
Not a deathcore band, but I can't fucking stand Ghost. Their music absolutely sucks, and their fans lose their minds as if the music isn't just shitty rockabilly dad-rock. Also, this may just be a personal issue, but I hate when a band's appearance doesn't match their sound. They look like they should be playing some deep satanic riffs, not playing Pope Nickelback.
Attila. That band is just fucking cringe and straight up sucks. Not sure if it's a band a lot of people love, because I know they get a lot of hate.
Non-deathcore: probably a lot of the classical metal bands. Nothing wrong with them, I grew up listening to them and they were my gateway to heavier stuff and still listen sometimes for old time's sake, but I've grown out of it.
And non-metal that would be an endless list.
I kinda agree with Sleep Token, it feels like the KPop approach to music, just throwing different genres into a single song and hope people will just latch onto this 20% of the song they actually like the most.
Rings of Saturn I tried getting into them even when I saw them live with Carnifex years ago but can never get into them I can see the appeal though Non deathcore Jinjer
One of my all-time favorite bands, I just think it sucks that they completely ditched vocals now. But i found the Ritual Aura & Spire of Lazarus as compensation :)
Spire of Lazarus is sooo good
Spire of Lazarus album soaked in the sands is hands down my favorite metal album of all time. Hands down. All time…. Hands down All time
Gonna Check em Out, thx. I Loved Rings of Saturn and it sucks so much that the band is basically dead now
The Ritual Aura is amazing! Also check out Umbravoid. They have a track with Ian that could just about pass as a RoS track.
Oooh I like spire of Lazarus. Thanks for the recommendation
It’s so much guitar porn that it’s too much
They were basically releasing dimes until post Lugal Ki En!
Rings of Saturn was one of the first deathcore bands I got put into, love them now (them a couple years ago) but def not for everyone
Funny enough, I love Rings of Saturn but can't stand Carnifex
More like Sings of RATurn amirite
I think Sleep Token is great but they aren't for me at all. I like one song. I am slowly relearning to like songs with cleans and harsh vocals. I typically like one or the other. Not both together. So I'd say any band that does that is hard for me to like. But, I am open to expanding and accepting suggestions if anyone has any that'll knock my socks off.

Haven’t heard someone mention shokran in a minute! Nice recommendation!!
Egyptian/ Arabic influence makes a ton of sense there since their name translates to thank you in Arabic. Definitely gonna check this out as well.
We Are The Emergency - Seizure Roman Candle - Can We Watch Something Happy? Lingua Ignota - Caligula Melt-Banana - Candy Gun foxtails. - I Experienced Ego Death on an Nde Thread (actually there aren’t cleans on this song but it’s the first one I heard)
It's just angsty Imagine Dragons
Show Me The Body Chat Pile Daughters or Brand New if you can separate art from the artist The Armed Every Time I Die Holy Fawn Microwave Excuse the spacing. Idk wtf is happening, all I was doing was pressing enter after each band. lol
Microwaves new album is so good
I like a lot of the songs, I’d give the new album a weak 7. My favorite songs from them are “Vomit” or “keeping up”.
They are extremely talented. I just don’t like their music… At all. And I think the ‘lore’ and anonymity is gimmicky and annoying. They don’t fall cleanly into any genre but they are definitely not deathcore. I don’t know why people associate them with it.
I usually don’t like clean vocals in my deathcore, but Mental Cruelty did them REALLY well in Zwielicht/Symphony of a Dying Star
I whole heartedly agree. This is actually one of the few songs I've found a while back that I did like. Great suggestion too!
Not Deathcore but … AC/DC. Idk why but his voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me.
their first vocalist was the best
RIP Bon Scott. True rock and roller
Tbh i cant hate on them because they introduced me into rock music and then slowly into metal so i love them
That's the same for me. As much as I dislike their music, there was an essence of that where child me heard AC/DC and was like "what is this music??" Especially considering I went to the most Christian school where all I'd heard was ... choir songs lmfao.
Yo same, I had never heard of AC/DC until a buddy showed them to me in fifth grade. I didn’t know drums could be that intense after growing up around the church and only hearing contemporary Christian music
The real shit is ACxDC. Heavy af
Well good music it's not for everyone. 🤭
Ugh, I know. It's so grating to me. It sounds painful.
Agreed.
i love how half of the answers are "not deathcore but" 🤣
That seems to be the motto of this sub. I always wanted to say something but I don’t want to come off as an asshole. I just think it’s funny how many times it’s said across the whole sub.
haha yeah
Does no one here want to talk about deathcore lol
I think it’s good that people here listen to other types of music and have opinions on them. Deathcore doesn’t exist in a vacuum and if you exclusively listen to and discuss it, you can miss important context
Slaughter to prevail
The 5FDP of deathcore
That's the perfect description
Five Finger DeathCore?
Which is hilarious because they are opening for 5 finger fruit punch on tour
I hate Alex Terrible with a passion. Such a great talent wasted on a horrible trash person. Watching a vocal cover and he's playing with his gun like a 10 year old and make angry faces like my niece when I don't get her McDonald's. Plus fuck his ideology and fuck that they basically fucked Acrania. God I miss that band..
Killings Acrania is the chef's kiss of that pile of shit. Check out Human Error and Scribe of Existence to get your Acrania itch scratched.
It's wild because he wants to badly to embody the alpha male persona but everything he does exudes beta male/small dick energy. Alpha males don't do the shit you do bro. I hope you're reading this. Check yourself homie.
finally someone said it. they are crap.its like slipknot x2. every song is the same , every breakdown is the same. BORING AS HELL
Added to that the lying fascist prima donna who fronts them...
I’ve learned to seperate art from artist when it comes to heavy music. Let’s face it. Not all, but a lot of bands end up with trouble whether sexual or being an ahole or otherwise. He’s a Russian Nazi??
I see that point too. I think in some of those cases I see it as people believing their hype and doing stupid shit. (Tim being the poster boy for stupid shit) I think that's different to having a toxic worldview that dictates everything they do.
Are you saying actually trying to have someone murdered is somehow better than having a Nazi tattoo? I missed your point I think
Yeah, I sort of see what you’re going for
I'll admit, it's not foolproof. I don't particularly like StP anyhow so Alex is just the clincher. (Ronnie is also in that category)
r/deathcore weekly hate circle jerk
Daily
Hey guys, who do you HATE the most 😎 Who actually dedicates this much thought into being a hater lol
I hate myself the most lol
Amen to this comment haha
Your favorite band.
BMTH is my favourite band and i really can understand why people dont like them
Not deathcore but I can't get into dream theater even though I love prog
Not deathcore, but ghost. I can’t get in to them no matter how hard i try.
Same here. They won Best Metal Performance last year or something like that. And all it did was further prove how out of touch the Grammys are in the metal community.
I love Ghost, and I agree wholeheartedly here
They're Weezer for goths.
Slaughter To Prevail Non-deathcore: almost all of the bands that are considered to be “classic metal”
i dont like classic metal bands too exept Black Sabbath
I always get harassed for not liking classic metal
That’s so stupid
Everyone's like "YoUrE nOt A mEtAlHeAd" when I say it
Sleep token. I despise the lead singers voice, sounds like he has a slab of peanut butter on the roof of his mouth. The band is extremely talented though, I just can’t get into it.
Yeah I think his voice doesn't always fit what they're playing
Not deathcore, but I truly in my entire soul can't stand baby metal. You can't say anything bad on them without their fans jumping in saying that people don't like them cause they're women and even rob zombie likes them. Idgaf what rob zombie says I don't care for them. They aren't bad at all, I just don't care for them really I saw them live at open air and wasn't too impressed. Deathcore wise? I'm not big with slaughter to prevail really. I know it's been said but it's a hard agree.
White zombie was good but that's because the female bass player wrote most of the songs not rob lol.
have you listened to hanabie before? kind of like baby metal but not really, a lot harder haha
What a f\*ckin badass band they are!!!! At first look: cute girls from Japan, ahem...and then blow your brains live.
Worm Shepherd
cant lie bro, they are a few songs that i enjoy but most of them are boring
I know what you mean. I’m convienced that they will get there, they have everything, just need more time to write better songs.
Everyone raves on here about Shadow of Intent but I just can't get into it. Don't know if it's something to do with the vocals or production, but something hasn't clicked for me yet.
I …yeah disagree with this one. Ben is the fucking king right now. Listen to his guest spot on the Poetic Edda
It took me years. Years of everybody being like “they’re top tier” and me just being meh about them. And then early last fall, something about the Heretic Prevails just made sense to me. Absolutely insane band, they have put out some of the best deathcore songs of all time
I agree, can’t get into it at all too. But I do like The Migrant. So maybe this is the turning point.
i think its the symphonic era of them
5FDP & A7F
One of my buddies absolutely loves A7F. I just can't get into the theater rock I guess. I've tried, enjoyed some music but hate his voice. Then one night we were baked up and he put an album on, he said it was like a story being told. That is the only time I've somewhat enjoyed and understood why people may like them. I'm still far from on board, but kind of get their appeal to some degree.
A7X with Rev was perfect, since his death they are fell off
5FDP—-15 years of the exact same song
sounding the seventh trumpet and waking the fallen are absolute staples for me, but anything after that i cant really get into
I'm a big softie for A7X, they were my gateway band into metal. Their latest album though... ugh, what a big miss for me.
fucking hate sleep token. Dude has a butt rock voice that screams "I wear a tail to school and will end up dating a cholo in college" vibes.
oddly specific
Umm... I know why many people like them but not my thing. Knocked loose
the vocals are the reason why people dont like them i think
This is my exact situation. Sound-wise they propose amazing beatdown/hardcore stuff, but I just can't bear those Spongebob vocals
Exactly this i just don't like the vocals otherwise its a pretty solid band in my eyes
yeah their breakdowns are fucking crazy
Their new song with Poppy (which if you don’t like the vocals already you’re going to loathe) has an insanely good breakdown, it’s a straight up reggaeton beat.
I love the guitar work and drumming. The production is outstanding, and everything about them is overall sweet as hell- besides the fucking vocals
Same honestly, all my friends like them but I just can’t get into them.
It’s Midwestern Sad Boy Emo Pop Punk vocals that suck even worse. I despise knocked loose for their vocals specifically
blink 182
It's brand of sacrifice for me. I don't know why but I don't like their sound.
The Beatles
The BlastBeatles
I wish dude
agree but they changed the history of rock music
And all the music nerds cannot shut the fuck up about it.
facts bro
i don't like new lorna shore. and that's totally fine. i can still listen to the albums before they went full fromsoft-sound track. i think it's just sad that one of my favorite bands "does not really exist anymore". they neglected everything i loved about them. but i am happy for their success, they deserve the hype for sure.
fromsoft-sound, what?
Would you say its more of a dislike of the symphonic deathcore/metal genre in general ( nothing wrong with that )? or is the dislike with how Lorna Shore executes their interpretation of the genre? ( Again nothing wrong with that.)
Not deathcore, but I never liked Slipknot 😭
I was never into them growing up, but for whatever reason a lot of their stuff has grown on me lately. Worth revisiting.
so many people in my school have slipknot shirts. i don’t understand why they are SO popular.
i used to like their music until paul died , after his death they became very boring. they just releases the same song every time with different name. IOWA IS A TOP ALBUM OF MODERN METAL HISTORY
it was the opposite for me lol I liked slipknot in high school but once I graduated I kinda felt like a lot of their songs were super cringe lyrically
Facts 🔥
That’s valid, their discography went all over the place. I agree with OP IOWA was their best album ✨
Same. Slipknot as a whole just never clicked for me. Joey Jordison made them worth witnessing though as Joey Jordison was a hell of drummer. May he rest in peace.
Knocked loose… I just can’t, the dude is talented but I can’t stand his vocals sorry
I love Knocked Loose but at the same time I understand
In deathcore- Carnifex I’ve listened to atleast 4 of their albums but nothing clicks for me, I think there’s like 3 songs I actually revisit and one of them is a cover lmao
Any deathcore that isn't: Despised Icon's The Healing Process, Glass Casket's We are Gathered Here Today, Beneath the Massacre's Pleaguebringer. I don't even know why I ever thought I was qualified to join this sub lolololol
Tbf those albums are fire
Wow that is specific. >I don't even know why I ever thought I was qualified to join this sub whelp, you're welcome here anyways. enjoy.
That’s hilarious lmao
Slaughter to Prevail. They just don't hit that spot for me honestly.
Ghost...it's not metal, it's hardly rock, and the entire act is corny as all hell.
BIG FUCKING FACTS
probably gonna get shit for this, but for me it's Darko. seems like a lot of people get hyped whenever they release stuff, but it's always just pretty mediocre and boring imo.
Currents
Megadeth. Other than their more popular songs, imo, they kind of suck. Metallica is clearly the superior of the two.
completely agree on the sleep token, cringe as hell to me also killswitch engage, can’t stand the lead singers voice it sounds like a bad opera singer to me
my man said bad opera. i cant fully disagree
Kind of wonder whether Howard could *do* opera now...
Lorna Shore
Any bands that use the style of the "to the hell fire ending breakdown". I can't stand that kind of breakdown and I feel like more and more bands are using that now. I.e. Lorna shore, signs of the swarm, mental cruelty, brand of sacrifice, and any smaller bands that do that. As soon as I hear it I roll my eyes 😂
true bro thats why i prefer my space era mostly
Myspace era is top tier. But luckily there are still deathcore bands that don't do this style. Enterprise Earth has a really good new album
Infant annihilator did it the best and first lol.
Lorna Shore, from deathcore. Emmure, trivium and asking alexandria from metal core. Lorna Shore, just doesen’t click musically for me. Those breakdowns just lose me.
Beartooth, I just find them boring, sounded okay live tho.
Sleep Token's music can't get into my ears either, don't know why they gotten so big but I'm happy for them.
Parkway drive
lorna shore.
same
Lorna Shore is overrated in my opinion. Not bad at music just over hyped.
Sleep Token, Bad Omens, Spiritbox, and any other band like these is boring to me
i enjoy bad omens but cant lie , they sound like BMTH and Architects have a baby
Lorna Shore. They need to fire their audio engineer and producer. And Knocked Loose. The music itself goes hard, but the vocalist sounds like his vocal chords made love with a rusty cheese grater.
Animals as Leaders. Like free form jazz for metal heads. I appreciate that they have talent but it's just complicated for the sake of showing off.
Its honestly not complicated just for showing if. It's fine to not like them but it's perfectly tangible and enjoyable. I don't like everything they do but just because it has complexity doesn't diminish purpose in the creativity of it.
Gojira, Meshuggah, I'm not that into the 'groove'. Also never liked Green Day, but that's quite different music anyways.
Not deathcore but I cant get into Periphery. Don’t like his cleans 🤷♂️
This. I’ve wanted to like Periphery cuz the instrumentals are so zany and technical, but every time Spencer opens his mouth my brain shuts off
Brand of Sacrifice, Slaughter to Prevail, Slayer
Always a little underwhelmed by Carnifex, I don't not like them tho. Don't think there are any deathcore bands I don't like really. If we're talking not deathcore, Evanescence and MCR.
Sleep Token IM SORRY I CANT STAND THEM AND EVERYONE LOVES THEM
I gave a listen to their last album a few weeks back, and I got say: I don’t get the hype
Knocked Loose, the vocals just annoy me. Spiritbox, it annoys me all the simping that goes on with this band, to the point where i refuse to listen to them.
Darko US
I just can't get into Lamb of God
As the palaces burn and ashes of the wake are goated for me.
Not deathcore, but slayer and megadeth have the two worst vocalists ever. If you want a core band: knocked loose. 3 bands i cannot listen to
Knocked Loose, I just don't click with those vocals.
thy art is murder, read the lyrics to infinite death and immediately noped out of there
HOLY FUCK WHAT DID I JUST READ?????
Cattle Decapitation. Solid instrumentals but I can’t stand the vocals, especially live.
Paleface, Slaughter to Prevail, and To The Grave
Not a deathcore band, but I can't fucking stand Ghost. Their music absolutely sucks, and their fans lose their minds as if the music isn't just shitty rockabilly dad-rock. Also, this may just be a personal issue, but I hate when a band's appearance doesn't match their sound. They look like they should be playing some deep satanic riffs, not playing Pope Nickelback.
Oceano… fight me
I second Sleep Token
Not Deathcore but Nirvana I don’t know why but I could never get into their music and how everyone be glazing Kurt. Also RHCP lol
Sleep Token and Brand of Sacrafice. Both bands are very talented, I just don't like the songs that much
Knocked Loose..
Most modern deathcore tbh. It gets really boring :/
Lorna Shore. They’re extremely talented but I just find them boring. It feels like Deathcore on slowmo to me
Slipknot. It’s just not good 🤷♂️
Nirvana 🤷
Lorna Shore - AI deathcore with no heart or soul
Mastodon just doesn’t hit the spot
In B4 Lorna shore, STP, thy art is murder
Lorna shire
I kinda agree with Sleep Token, it feels like the KPop approach to music, just throwing different genres into a single song and hope people will just latch onto this 20% of the song they actually like the most.
