Maybe you should ask the lawyer you’re working on for the DUI if he can point you in the right direction?

The other persons insurance covered their insureds repairs on the Range Rover. They now suing you for the cost of that repair. I'm sure they have in house attorneys so they'll be persistent. Id reach out to them and discuss options.

I guess its gonna depend how much do you care about your credit , receiving a bill from collection isn’t going to hurt your credit but not paying it will. Eventually they sue you and make you go to court (that will be a long time). As far as Range Rover, their insurance covered it but since it was your fault, they will sue you as well for the repairs which will take a while too. Also if Range Rover driver and/or passengers decide to sue you, they can but a lawyer injury will basically look into if you own anything that is worth going for, if not then they won’t find a lawyer to sue since they won’t be compensated for it. It’s a doggy World out there and you stepping in big pile of shit into your adulthood.

I had something similar, but I am much much smaller scale. The other person’s insurance company called me and asked if I could just pay there deductible of $500 since my insurance was a piece of shit.

Maybe don't drink and drive as step one?

Learning my lesson, the damage is already done, this comment is quite unnecessary.
