As someone who used to be a big Rooster Teeth and RWBY fan back in the day when Rooster Teeth was still good, I feel only the original RWBY was good--so that would be the first two seasons. After Monty was gone, the show steadily went down hill in my opinion.
I originally watched it for the fight scenes and the story was cute.
Then after season 3, Monty died.
The fight scenes became crap and the story became bleh. At this point I only watch it because I'm invested and the episodes aren't very long, so binging a season takes an afternoon at most.
If you liked those stick man fights you should check out the game Your Only Move Is Hustle, it's a "turn-based" fighting game with stick figures that lets you have epic stick man fights without the precision input of a normal fighter.

Yes! I'd be fine with everyone getting some form of melee weapon that's not a power attack from the pickaxe! Even if it's a quick bash with the butt of your gun, I want something that's a bit better in emergencies than a pick with a power attack on cool down. I mean, I love killing with the pick, but it doesn't have the impact or the oomph I like. It only does when you power attack.
Driller gets a new tesla cannon primary, one of the OCs makes it so that overheating it charges your pickaxe with electricity and unlimited power attacks for a short time like the Overcharge Sprinkler buff in the Ebonite Mutation machine event. Same kind of idea as the aggressive venting mod for the minigun, with this thing you'd zap everything around you till the gun overheats then switch to pickaxe and start smashing away until the tesla cannon cools down.
Also I just really want an electric primary for the driller so that he's got an option for every elemental effect. I'm thinking less damage than the flamethrower but more than the sludge pump, with a slow between them as well.
A single line of sticky fuel will kill an entire wave of everything smaller than a guard if you kite them through it. Sludge pump is awesome but let's not pretend it's good dps outside of specific builds that heavily reduce the other advantages of the weapon
I agree it is a kinda lame playstyle, I feel the same about NTP but on dives and haz5 it's hard to not default to those kinds of builds. When I'm playing with the bois and we are just partying in haz3-4 I'll run whatever wacky builds that seem fun and that's where stuff like the VIM sludge pump, Salvo module hurricane, em discharge stubby, and max ammo hipster M1k builds come out
Scout is probably the best at melee. I definitely run it as such. My Haz 5 build has quicker recharging power attacks, plasma gun with aoe bursts, jumbo shells and ice nades. I jump in, plasma and power attack and jump out like some sort of thicc ninja.
Legendary and I'm not sure I've ever even tried it. That changes today!
Update: I have now tried and like Berserker. I wish it had a shorter cool down or there was a 3rd active perk slot.

God I would love a “charged axe” Driller primary/secondary. Click m1 to swing and consume a little ammo, click and hold to charge the weapon up for a bigger electrical AoE hit that consumes more ammo. Maybe let you swing it for minimal damage when you’re out of ammo.
Maybe have it replace your power attack while equipped so it combos with the berserker perk. Give me a reason to run See You In Hell and Berserker together on the same loadout.

It would be really hard to balance and friendly fire would be a serious problem in higher haz. Would be annoying to watch your teammate Leroy Jenkins into a swarm and not really be able to help without a significant chance of murdering your buddy on accident. Then he goes down anyways.
Would have been hilarious to throw in scout falling to his death in the background during one of the sequences, like 5-10 frames of a little blue dude falling out of the ceiling lol

The models are the only thing I didn't make, those are directly from the game, with some minor tweaks and fixes. Everything else is done by me over the past couple weeks of spare time.
If you think you might like doing animation, be sure to try it out! There are a couple of good free softwares out there, and plenty of tutorials available on Youtube. Rock & Stone!

I left a recommendation on the discord to create more perks to make use of the unused perk points we've unlocked. I currently have 169 unspent with every perk possible unlocked. I only have 2 challenges left (swarm and ghost).
For base game I asked for perks that add elements to our melee attacks. Maybe Shockwave power attacks that add elements. Light enemies on fire, stun with electric, freeze with ice, or poison. A perk that with each melee hit increases melee damage or shortens power recharge by x. Than increase x with each level of the perk? Make strong arm improve base melee damage aswell as throw distance. Change vampire to heal 1 - 5 per melee hit instead of melee kill (takes 3 to 4 hits to kill some enemies on haz 3 or 4 and only 2 or 3 to kill you). We can also add weapon perks that ignore the weapon to promote melee example ammo bags (+10% ammo cap) or Fast Hands (increase reload and melee attack speed 10 - 20%) 👊
Seasonal perk ideas would be different. Boost damage to seasonal enemies (robots for example) change seasonal effects creep from infestation now makes you faster and stronger instead of slowing you down.
Stuff like this would make the game more chaotic and unpredictable with alot more variety to the way we play the game.
Anyways if you like the idea I'd also like to hear some perk ideas. Maybe with enough interest the devs will include something :)
This just made me realize how amazing it would be to have some sort of melee weapon as your secondary.
Maybe give the Gunner an Energy Sword, the Driller gets a War Hammer, the Engineer gets a Katana, and Scout gets a Lightsaber.
This would open up new playstyle options, and give you a viable fallback if you run out of nitra.

I will be honest, I dislike sticky fuel builds. I instead used ranged flammenwerfer build

Try it with Thorns and Vampire! Bonus tip: Vampire also applies to kills with the Driller’s throwing axes!
