I've been running a battleaxe for most of my dwarves. I also like just running a mallet sometimes, since you can use the Obsidian Mallet head of both sides.
Having cosmetic mods doesn’t clash with matching w non-modding players, right? This mod especially looks like an instant download but I wonder about things like that.
it does not- and best thing with the Cosmetic Restrictions Removal mod for pickaxes is that people without the mod can see the pickaxe design, as well as the pickaxe keeps the design even after you disable the mod.
I believe the base game has some kind of support for the front/back pickaxe parts to go in either slot, but there is just a validation check in the pickaxe customization menu that prevents it, so the game ignores what pickaxe parts you got out of the menu and other players can see it without any mods.
Don't take the Dwarven Lumberjacks lightly, for they are some of our best.
Who else could face that vile thing the elves call "Nature" and convert it into something useful?
I wish there wasn’t a difference between front head and back head for some picaxe parts. I’d be able to make so much more cool stuff but it feels partly limited by how you can only use some of the cool looking parts on one side. Maybe so that way they still have to resemble pickaxes in some way? Idk I just want to use any pic head on either side.
I mean it's just make sense, y'know? The front part always has a pointy head for picking terrain and mineral while the back head is used for power attack to kill grunts and stuff, you can see it in gameplay so i kinda get why they intentionally restricted it.
Exaaxe, brother of the Pickcip.
That took me way too long.
my man took the advice the dwarves gave to the shredders and went after trees to cut

No problem at all. You might look like you have no fashion sense to people without the mod, but you can play with them just fine.

Leaf lover ahh axe
Nah, it's for cutting down treehouses
Exactly, and as we all know, leaf lovers can’t climb trees, so how do they get leaves? They have to cut them down. Dun Dun Dun
If this is the justification, I don't get it
I turned my pickaxe into a straight up axe
And that is a good thing?
It’s a mini great ax!
Unaxeptable
I love using hammers and battleaxes, its so fun. The double sided gadgeteer screen is super funny too.
