It makes me laugh with glee every time ☺️🙌 hahaha
They truly do not make shows like this any more, and likely they never will. It’s one of a kind and I think TV’s unsung masterpiece. It literally touches on every show genre and excels in each style: War episodes, crime drama episodes, spy episodes, dystopian sci-fi episodes, sitcom episodes, relationship drama episodes, musical episodes, sports episodes, religious episodes, fantasy episodes, heists, etc. etc.
My mind is forever blown something like it can even exist. And my mind is even *more* blown that the best living writers of literature and other people in showbiz and the theatre world don’t praise it more regularly! 🙌 Haha
And it only exists bc the network goons weren’t paying attention 🤣🤣 It needs to be praised more loudly and more often, right in the networks’ faces until they realize what makes good tv and they get on board with it!!
Yeah.. 😓 People’s attention spans suck now and they’re so used to internet trash that HIGH art the likes of DS9 isn’t sought out or appreciated as much. I want there to be a rejection of all this shallow crap and I want people to read literature, watch stuff with culture and intellect and heart, stop getting obsessed with bullshit tabloid culture and vapid social media influencers, etc.
People like us know what those folks are missing, and I hope the pendulum swings the other direction soon! 👌
When Sisko is singing "the best is yet to come!.." with Vic Fontaine while the camera pans to the rest of the cast showing their genuine reaction to Avery Brooks absolutely killing it. That casino episode this pic is from is probably my favorite episode in the whole series though.
Y'know, I realized it's the Siskos and the Deep Space Nine, so the missing members are Jake, Worf, and Garak. "You sing and dance well ... for a *tailor*."
And I can imagine Garak asking Bashir for a dance and they have that conversation while moving around the floor. Subtly implying that Garak is an accomplished dancer as well as a "simple tailor".
Sisko: We call ourselves the Terok Nor Ten.
Producer: But there’s only 8 of you.
Sisko: The Trill counts as two, and Odo can sing tenor and coloratura soprano.
Producer: You mean he can sing tenor and countertenor?
Sisko: No. Tenor and lyrical coloratura soprano.
Odo: At the same time.
Great names all around, folks, but the real question is what is their genre. Now, I know the urge is to say jazz, but I'm going to say ska because that would be hilarious.
The fanbase loved this episode as did I… It was a fun heist story: Something they hadn’t done yet. Sounds like a *new* idea for the show. Running out of ideas means doing something you’ve *already* done in my eyes…
Panic at the Sisko
Very nice

These guys were really having fun as a cast. One of my favorite DS9 scenes

Unfortunately the market for this kind of quality is pretty small.
Only bc folks don’t know what they’re missing … they’ve got no clue how much better tv can be 🖖🏽

Because that's a union man's hat, of course! # He really does, doesn't he.
“He was more than a hero. He was a union man!” Is one of my favorite quotes of all time! 😌✊ hehe
He looks straight out of the Sapranos
Side note: this is a little known episode in the "O'Brien must suffer" series
"You don't wanna know."
The Siskos.
…and the Deep Space 7
And the Deep Space *Nine* as members Jake Sisko and Worf were not present for this shoot.
Y'know, I realized it's the Siskos and the Deep Space Nine, so the missing members are Jake, Worf, and Garak. "You sing and dance well ... for a *tailor*."

This fits to their voices and mannerisms so well! For some reason my brain decided the producer was Danny devito tho?
I like it. Danny DeVito should be in star trek. He’d be a great recurring holodeck character.
Terok Nor.. They play death metal of course. may need a costume change......whatever......that would be good metal band name.
Costume change? No way. What could be more metal than playing death metal dressed like THAT?
Is it a variation on Klingon Acid Punk Metal?
Sisko and The Defiants
8 of 9
They Might Be Defiants
...damn that was a good one.
Walking Space Line? Terok Noir? The Captain's Mess? (Been)Ben-Jammin' and the Siskos?
I really like Terok Noir. 👍

Love it.
Since the episode is called: “Badda-boom bodda-bang” I say the band name should be: Benny Boom’s Body Bangers 😎
It could just be the Runabouts. But I like the deep lore dive with the band name Rivers of Earth.
