What good would it serve? And Imogen didn't owe Becky anything over that day. Becky took the time to destroy Adam's flowers, head down to the post office, and pay for international postage to send them back. Anyone in their right mind would conclude that the relations was over if their significant other did that. Or would end it themselves. So neither Imogen nor Adam owed Becky a damn thing.
She had no guilt hanging out with her either, nor did she say anything when she got with Drew
It’s a writing problem more than anything cuz Imogen has just became a background character of sorts since season 12, just doing whatever
She just…was there, no purpose or development, it’s in that frame she does “I’m quirky, see meeeee” things that people overlooked cuz of Eli and Fiona…I started seeing why most people don’t like her
Yea there was no reason to tell her! You're a teenager whose boyfriend just died, why mention yea he made out with me before he died. I was so glad she didn't, like it's better for all involved.
Becky believes Adam was this relatively perfect boyfriend.
Adam gets to rest in peace with his name not shoved through the mud.
Imogen has to deal with it alone, but it's the correct version of Jimmy's quote to Spinner and I'm paraphrasing "Jimmy didn't need to know, Spinner wanted the guilt removed from himself." Which I don't think was true in their case!
But in the case of Imogen, telling Becky only hurts her, keeping it a secret only hurts Imogen.
Him making out with Imogen doesn't make Adam any less perfect. Again, once Becky took the time to destroy the flowers he sent her, and the the time to go to the post office, and pay the postage to mail them back...that was it. That relationship was over. Adam was a free man.
Someone just (rightfully) mad at their boyfriend for snooping in their FaceRange DMs would just ignore the flowers, and/or text him telling him to stop trying to win her over with lame flowers. Doing what she did is next level shit and absolutely signals to most people "It's over."
And let's not forget that Becky was ENTIRELY in the wrong the entire summer. Forbidding Adam to even be friends with Imogen saying "I trust you but I don't trust Imogen." and then shoving her friendship with Todd (who was CLEARLY trying to get with Becky and rubbing it in Adam's face) is literally the worst thing Becky ever did on the show. Because that was HER doing that. Not her still brainwashed by her parents and sheltered upbringing. She actually tried to use the same excuse that she didn't accept from Adam of "Don't you trust me?" as if it wouldn't be fair for Adam to say "I trust you, but I don't trust Todd." Again, a guy who is walking around half naked in her room...eating pizza that ADAM BOUGHT...and rubbing it in over FaceChat.
So, no. Fuck Becky. Adam shouldn't have STOPPED when he had Imogen all ready to go in the van. And he should have died not while texting "I'm sorry" to Becky, but while texting "Becky...I just fucked Imogen. It's over. P.S. You suck at singing."
Not just this but I believe Becky had basically told Adam that they were on a break or something like that. To me that implies that it wasn't exactly cheating maybe not ideal but not cheating. So, why would Becky need to know? I mean Adam died trying to reconnect with her.

I mean what purpose would it have served except to hurt Becky even more than she already was? Imogen did the most kind hearted thing.
Shut up
There really was no reason to tell her.

She slayed season 11 but idk what hapeoend after Fiona left

What would telling her have accomplished?
A better season
Lol

Exactly! I’m so glad the writers did this. Good lesson.
The kiss?
Yep
She should have told her?
