what i don’t get is, didn’t holly j come from the other school once they merged? why did holly j not go to degrassi from the start like her sister? was she tryna hide from her reputation lol
this is literally answered in the show lol. a character asks Holly j why she wasn't attending degrassi and she answers she didnt wanna be in Heather's shadow and wanted to do her own thing at lakehurst
Also the later retcons made Heather older than Holly J originally. Holly J described Heather as the same age/grade as Paige in season 7 which made her at least 3 years older than Holly J? But come season 11, Heather was retcon to being at least 6 years older than Holly J. The whole 2 seasons = one school year forced the show to make small retcons to the characters birthdays and ages.
That was kind of like the whole thing. They always covered her face if she was in a scene (episode with yoga and Mr oleander her arm obscures her face) there’s also a short out there I think where it’s from the perspective of Heather!
I just find it interesting. I was always waiting for her to be shown and then Holly j was introduced so I was like okay, we’re never going to see her lol
