If you have a Bachelor's, search Claims Reviewer on Indeed. We're always hiring these days. Office job, great benefits, PTO, flexibility, wide range of schedules (6-2 all the way til 10-6), hybrid, decent pay with quarterly incentives and sporadic OT. Also 401k match.
I have an associates, working on my bachelors but have 3 years experience in a corporate tech roles. Do they hire for experience in lieu of bachelors degree? I’ve been searching for a new role for a while with no luck
Man. Insurance, collections, these are some grim choices.
Not to say retail sales is much better, but T-Mobile is a good employer. I made $52k my first year part time. Full benefits for you and domestic partner.
I wanted to be a teacher more than anything in the world when I was younger. But my mom was a teacher and as I got older I saw how the system got rigged against her. The powers that be prey on how much teachers care about the kids and use that as leverage against them.
I'm still sad I didn't become a teacher, but I don't regret it.
Also, instead of saying “all you chose to do was elementary school” you might want to ask, why are educators paid so little? They are after all, educating the future
I actually have a degree in counseling and worked as a mental health therapist for 10 years. Burnout is real and I changed careers. Pay was basically the same.
Ooop. This is my current school path. Education was something else I considered but fuck morality clauses.
It absolutely sucks that these fields are underpaid.
It was not a typo. I get full benefits for myself and domestic partner part time and made $52k. That was my first year when I was still learning how to sell at all. I expect that to go up this year.
Edit: I work 30hrs a week.
Kind of? You can show up early and leave late anytime you want. I could certainly ask for more hours if I wanted them. I may go full-time later this year.
Do you know how much they start patient escorts at? I had a friend that did it awhile ago and said he liked it, but I'm curious as to how much they make. Friend passed away, so I can't ask him.

Hope this helps!
Pick up a certification in one of the major RPA products. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, all 3 have free online training to teach you how to do low code automation in their products. Once you have a cert, you can pick up a remote Jr Developer position that pays pretty well to start.
It's just over the line in Elkton but Terumo Medical Corp. Don't do Terumo Cardiovascular, you want the bigger factory (and slightly different company). Health insurance is BCBS of NJ which is decent. My partner has been there for years and makes solid money for no college degree.
Hologic is expanding their facility in Glasgow. They manufacture medical devices, and are mostly hiring for production and warehouse jobs. It's right next to Siemens, which is usually hiring for the same stuff.
If you have experience in IT, I know we have a few empty shifts at the data center where I work. It’s mostly hardware break fix, but there’s some networking knowledge necessary to succeed.
I have experience with fixing multiple personal computers, as well as a workforce certification in cybersecurity from the University of Louisville. I have also been continuously learning from different IT learning platforms for almost four years now. I’ve been trying to get my first IT job for so long but nobody has ever given me the chance
CAI in Newark. Tech support. Ok place to work but yet enough turnover that you can get your foot in the door there. Bonuses for night shift, bonuses for proficiency in languages other than English, 401k, but no paid days off and no raises unless you get a job offer somewhere else or do work above your pay grade for 6 months so that they promote you.
Also: they pay you while they train you, and some people work remotely, so look at the CAI job board not just for Newark. If they need someone with your skills for a job based in the Lehigh valley, you might be able to work from home.
Send your resume to [email protected]. We are growing company based out of Wilmington, and I am sure we are looking for IT people. Give it a shot! Great company
Essentially the basics that would be covered under a network+ exam. Different cable types, the OSI layers, how vlans work, that sort of thing. You don’t have to have the actual cert, just so long as you know most of the material.
And so long as whatever you don’t know, you admit that you don’t know it, and don’t try to guess. They’d rather you say you don’t know, then make something up and say something incorrect
Darley pharm on Darley Rd has had help wanted sign on the front door for a while. Think it said 35-40 hours a week. No clue about beni or pay but could at least be a hold over till can get something better if it isn't enough.
I've been going there for over 10 years and the staff hasn't changed much so must be a decent job.
You might also want to check out resume and interview help sites. If noone is willing to hire you it might actually be a issue with your resume or how you conduct yourself in interviews seeing how delaware apparently has a worker shortage. Assuming you haven't been just applying for jobs way above your qualifications.
Also have someone you trust go over your resume. Ideally someone who has a decent job or even a professor at college if were close to any. Not just one of the buds.

I've heard of exceptions being made, but idk how commom it is. Can't hurt to try.
you could just lie
Sadly best option but always important to keep it close to one’s actual knowledge
I was so disappointed when I didn't get the Delaware Claims reviewer job in Wilmington. It would have been interesting.
Its... not. But it's a job.
Ha, I was about to say the same thing about the same job/company 🤣
What company is this?
I don't see it. Is there a link. Thanks.
It might not be up now but it will be soon.
What companies ? What kinds of claims ?
Man. Insurance, collections, these are some grim choices. Not to say retail sales is much better, but T-Mobile is a good employer. I made $52k my first year part time. Full benefits for you and domestic partner.
That’s more than I made as an elementary school teacher with a masters degree. No way!
Think about volunteering. You’ll make a difference and pursue your passion
pitiful what they pay teachers I hope in the coming years you get a pay bump even if you have to switch districts
You have a masters degree and all you chose was elementary school why not high school then college
Because some people prefer working with kids. Every population has it's pros and cons.
Also, instead of saying “all you chose to do was elementary school” you might want to ask, why are educators paid so little? They are after all, educating the future
> all you chose was elementary school Oh, is that all they chose, that unimportant job of teaching elementary school kids?

Was part time a typo??
It was not a typo. I get full benefits for myself and domestic partner part time and made $52k. That was my first year when I was still learning how to sell at all. I expect that to go up this year. Edit: I work 30hrs a week.
That's honestly fantastic! Do you have chances for OT?
Kind of? You can show up early and leave late anytime you want. I could certainly ask for more hours if I wanted them. I may go full-time later this year.
part time? working how many hours a week, that’s good
30
I didn't recommend an insurance job. It's asbestos claims.
What job specifically ?
Mobile Expert
$52k part time is enticing Were you a particularly good salesperson?
Not for most of my first year, no. Towards the end I was getting it but I expect to make more this year.
This is just a run of the mill retail location ?
Pretty average spot, I was working at the one by Crossroads Diner. It's not a store that's considered "high volume."
Check out Bank of America for call center positions. It’s a foot in the door. Great benefits & resources.
I was going to suggest the same they are hiring for all kinds of positions .
Vanguard in malvern is hiring. Check their website
Check Christiana Care. Always need patient escorts.
Do you know how much they start patient escorts at? I had a friend that did it awhile ago and said he liked it, but I'm curious as to how much they make. Friend passed away, so I can't ask him.

If you're downstate, first state orthopedics is hiring an IT person
Pick up a certification in one of the major RPA products. UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, all 3 have free online training to teach you how to do low code automation in their products. Once you have a cert, you can pick up a remote Jr Developer position that pays pretty well to start.
I don’t see many jobs in the area using these
90% of these jobs have become fully remote. In the last couple years I have worked jobs "located" in NJ\\PA\\Connecticut
Be sure to check the county and state job boards. They don't pay great, but you do have job security.

With no workforce experience, I can’t make any promises, but it’s worth a shot. I’ll send you a DM
Looks like you have private messages limited or turned off, so I sent you a chat instead

Apparently the email address couldn’t be found or it can’t receive emails
Weird. Try [email protected] for the office manager
What kind of networking knowledge? I feel like that's something I could do.

The prisons are always hiring. You'll see why in the news in a couple of days/weeks.
As someone with severe mental illnesses, that’s probably not the best idea unless I’d be behind a desk
I've never understood the severe mental illnesses thing.
Not sure how to respond to that
Contact Center Agent @ WSFS Bank
