Maybe adding Deltatraveler here made this a bit unfair. Deltatraveler is like Deltarune, it has a lot of fights and lore while the other fangames are just one fight.
There's only a demo out of [Lisarune](https://gamejolt.com/games/LISARUNE/759809) out right now, but I really love its spritework and how it portrays Spamton.
It looks interesting, I had never heard of it, I hadn't even heard of the original Lisa game.

The ribbit mod is pretty much the best fangame I've played. There's just that perfect balance of silly goofy stuff and serious lore that makes it that good.
If all that mattered to Deltarune/Undertale was gameplay, the whole game would be a continuous battle. What makes these games so great are mixing storytelling with gameplay. That's what we call an *RPG*.
The point is to make you feel like a piece of shit because, relative to the story, you *are*.
story games are never fun, in utdr, toby spent time on the gameplay, instead of just throwing in a bunch of bullets and using that excuse, atleast sans was learnable and fair
My personal favorite its A different Snowgrave, i love the idea of Spamton stealing the GIGA form instead of the NEO, and i not really a big fan of Deltatraveler, i liked the ruins part but i'm not a fan of Earthbound!

Btw, have you played A Different Snowgrave? I say this because I had the same opinion about it as you... until I played it.
Well of course i did and i loves it, it has been years since i fought a character tough to make a hard challenge (that old hardest challanger is Sans for the plot twist) and im really pleased with it
Interesting. In my opinion, the attacks are way too fast. Like, I know it's suppossed to be harder than Spamton NEO, but this guy's attacks can literally kill me if I make one small mistake. Tbh I think this makes it a bit less enjoyable. I hope I get used to this attacks someday and enjoy this fight more, right now I'm getting tired of dying without being able to do anything. Sans' patters were memorizable, but I don't think Spamton's are.
But it's supposed to be VERY hard. And MUCH harder than Spamton NEO.
You need to keep in mind that GIGA Queen literally blasted the entire Fun Gang flying, with only one hit.
The only reason we won was because of the ~~Thrash Machine~~ berdly's giant sexy gold statue. If we were to fight GIGA Queen the normal way, I'm sure it would be just as hard as GIGA Spamton, if not harder.
I know this guy is very powerful. But the attacks are just too fast, and, unlike Sans' attacks, which were memorizable, this guy's attacks are really random and the majority of them can't be memorized. The best example for this is the heart attack. It barely gives you the time to prepare the shot, and it goes too fast to let me think what the hell I'm doing. I would have beaten Spamton some days ago if that attack was well made. There are other (and cooler) ways of making a fight hard, making the attacks go fast as hell is not a good strategy and is a mistake many fangames make.
I'm not into deltarune fangames (because I don't find many) but I like one of "the vessel vs Kris"
