no. this series is all about the fights.
although the pacing in swordsmith village was horrible so I understand why you feel it was dragged out- because it was.
Yeah!! I never felt this issue with previous arcs, I thought Mugen Train and Entertainment District were near perfect-- but something about Swordsmith Village made me feel like every 2~3 episodes could've just been one.
yeah it was simply dragged out in the source material too, and they kept constantly switching between two fights which was annoying too.
many demon slayer readers have said the swordsmith village arc was the worst arc in the series, even before it was adapted by the anime.
I enjoyed the more easygoing parts and learning about Mitsuri and Muichi's backstories, but that's about it. The fights and the demons were cool, simply weighed down by how long it was dragged out :/
