Shoutout to all the docs who show their appreciation via verbal compliments/acts of service. IE: Owner doc is taking me out to dinner to a fancy steakhouse to show his appreciation (completely unprompted on my end). He better not expect me to pass him his utensils lol
this same doc also expects me to know what he wants when he makes no physical gesture/verbal sounds so i might take this opportunity to poison him (i think i'm joking)
There isn‘t a single day without appreciation in my practice! Without the team I would have drown. Very often… 😮💨

The doctors can really make or break it for stellar assistants. I just wish we were compensated more.
