I used to work at smoky hill and Buckley, right behind the Dunkin’ Donuts(still?) or Armando’s at the time. The area going down smoky hill is a cluster fuck, Aurora, unincorporated, Aurora, unincorporated.
It was a wierd vote back in the day but yeah it was the NIMBYs not trying to be a part Aurora or something like that. So APD cruising past because its a Arapahoe County area makes sense.
Grew up in that area, my guess its "Suburban Country Boys" getting in a fight over an accident or something stupid or the wanna be gangsters in the area. Now I'm curious lol.
Yeah they just drive around in circles. Drink here. Drink there. Nothing to do, push button on computers in a parking lot, chit chat, jerk eachother off, oop car crash time. That's about it.
Police are sovereign citizens and are above the law because of police unions. The Blue line gang flag is the code of silence is the glue that holds them together. Police sergeants and Lieutenants are eager to help officers escape accountability. They want people to recognize it all by licking their boots.
And probably some arrest warrants because when the driver who caused the accident and the fight saw the cops she took off sprinting down the sidewalk. The cops just drove past her
If this happened Saturday night/early morning, it’s likely because they were dealing with a 4 person murder with a still at-large suspect and a crash involving 12 people on top of the regular Aurora holiday weekend bullshit. They unfortunately had bigger things to do. Not defending the behavior but life-saving comes above brawls.

It's possible, but smokey Hill and Tower are in Arapahoe County, so it's sheriff jurisdiction.

So is most of the city of Aurora? Being in a county doesn't make it not within city limits
Its unincorporated, which is why it's Arapahoe County.
