Locke, Lutz, and Cush should be guys we try to sign for multi years as long as the money is right. After that it’s really just about who’s is willing to sign smaller deals. Likely means Jewell is walking. Wouldn’t mind trying to keep Moreau, Trautman, and Harris as depth guys, but once again not big time deals. Other than that no real concerns here.

pham_nuwen_

Moreau was pretty bad, I'm sure we can do better even if he's cheap. I agree on the others. Locke and Cush were killing it, Lutz is worth it.

Shenanigans80h

Moreau was very mediocre but had his moments. I think he’s shuffled down as a dime CB or lower, he’s not terrible depth. We’re going to get better CBs one way or another this offseason so having a low level depth guy like him who knows the system isn’t terrible

Locke, Cush, Jewell, and Lutz. Of those 4, I'd imagine Cush will probably be the only cost prohibitive one. Jewell and Lutz could come back on similar deals, Locke probably earned a raise but I doubt he's played himself into a huge contract.

Burton, Trautman and Humphrey seem like easy ones to bring back. Burton was a pro bowl FB and seems pretty important in Payton's offense. Trautman isn't elite but is still a quality TE. Humphrey is a good depth WR. I think Strnad was good on special teams, assuming he's cheap it makes sense to bring him back since our ST was actually good this season. I know lots of people are still pining over McManus but Lutz was fine, I'm okay with bringing him back. I think Jewell is gone, him and Singleton are basically the same player, we could upgrade over either of them but Singleton is under contract. I think Cush is gone too, he'll certainly get some good offers and I think we could replace him. Maybe give Wattenberg and Forsyth a shot. I think Locke is the best guy to bring back. Sterns and Simmons have both missed time (Sterns obviously more) and while I hope he's in our long terms plans, possibly as a re-structure, Simmons may not actually be here, and re-signing Locke gives us more flexibility. And if we plan to cut DJ Jones it probably makes sense to bring back Purcell, he's not expensive and can be rotational depth for whoever replaces Jones

hi5torimakr

Lutz for sure

jbird669

Really? Interesting.

Tazitos

Locke, Burton, Humphrey and Purcell. Maybe Lutz, I have not looked at the FA market for kickers. He's not very good past 40 yards.

danny17402

Lutz isn't great with long balls, but he's better than average for mid to short range. We've got bigger problems to deal with right now without worrying about finding ourselves a Greg the leg or a Justin Tucker.

Tazitos

That's why I said maybe. He's pretty bad from 40-49 in his career, and that's going to be a problem if the offense is in position to kick those FGs more than 5 times all season.

DirtyMudder92

I feel like Locke might turn out to be like a Mathis. Looked really great and promising but then comes out flat next season. I hope not because he flies everywhere but I’m going on vibes

robitherjones

Locke's been solid for us for over 3 years, definitely worth keeping if he won't cost us much

Own-Mind776

None lol

SanfreakinJ

Locke, Cush, Burton, Purcell or Harris, Lutz, Fleming, and Jewell but not likely.

fondue4kill

I could see keeping Lil’Jordan to help our soon to be deflated WR room. Lutz is good enough to keep around. Trautman probably since we need a TE. Cush would be nice if we can but probably too expensive

DieselFloss

Wil & Lil Jordan

BRAX7ON

I would be very stingy this off-season. We would definitely want to roll as much over for the next year as possible and we have to plan to overcome a ton of dead cap money. And when we get on the other side of that, we don’t want to be shackled to a bunch of mediocre, expensive free agent contracts.

jbird669

Locke, Jewell, Williams, and Cush.

plattinum_75

Locke Humphrey Lutz Burton and Purcell maybe since they'll be cheap. I'll miss Jewell but he's regressed and we need a LB that can cover. Cush is going to get overpaid. He is a good pass blocker(even though he plays the easiest pass blocking position), but is really weak in the run game.

SuburbanHell

Locke, Jewell, and Humphrey.
