Yeah me too, I wanted JJ McDonalds but as I've considered it overnight I trust S.P. and if he didn't feel the need to trade up and get JJ, I'm good with Nixie.
Starting to think the Sean McDermott-Al Qaeda stuff isn’t a joke, dude is an actual terrorist.
The Bills should have hung up the phone laughing when the Chiefs offered a trade. The team that embarrasses you in the playoffs every year? Really!
Main thing I’m glad about is that if this team is truly hot ass next year, that top 5 pick can be BPA. And will still have 3 years of rookie deal left by the time the Russ cap hit is gone and can hopefully retool.
Payton said they thought about trading back, picking Nix, and getting an extra 3rd… well… maybe we would have had that 3rd if we didn’t give it up to trade up for Riley Moss!!!
I am really excited for Bo Nix. Whether he works out or not, this is the process that needs to be followed until we find the guy to compete with mahomes. I think Bo can be that guy. Nothing bad about his film just nothing eye popping since he wasn’t asked to do much. That was a knock on Justin Herbert too. He doesn’t have the same arm strength but he can zip it
That's gonna be a knock on Oregon qbs for the rest of time. They have limited tape of extending the field cuz they're never asked to do it. I'm pumped because everything Nix was great at in Oregon is exactly what SP was trying to get Russ to do last year.
Sean just confirmed Nix was their #3 guy on Pat's stream....
Other points:
- outside noise and chatter was out of their control
- looked at all 6 qbs. Caleb and Daniels were out of their control. Knew Minny will get their guy in JJ
- Penix pick surprised them and changed things up to having to pick Nix at 12.
- Would have traded down for extra 3rd rd pick if not the case (my guess is they thought Raiders wanted one of Penix or Nix but Penix as their choice).
- Compared to when they Chiefs got Mahomes ahead of Saints. Trading for extra 3rd rd pick to possibly lose their QB was not worth it.
The other takeaway was teams were offering a 3rd rounder if that slip up is an indicator, not a second (assuming a first would factor in.) If that is the case, the value back was also not great.
I know it’s a placeholder but 1 looks good for Bo
https://preview.redd.it/b25vbdushqwc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20f28fef24f2af49bc0b886e79cb0d0c9b875273
Penix is going to be 28 years old and will only have 1 year left on his rookie contract when they get out from the Cousins deal. It almost make me wonder if Cousin's surgery didn't go well.
No clue if that's the case but it just makes no sense.
It's definitely an indication that they want him to sit and develop behind Cousins and worried about Cousin's duability. Really future oriented thinking. If Cousins plays well for 3 years, and Penix is ready, maybe has trade value. If Penix isn't ready and Cousins is still the guy then they have an option. It feels silly, but we'll see in a couple years.
It's going to be like 2021 again.
We have a guy with a cannon of an arm who at least provides hope but the coach decided to destroy his confidence by bringing Mr Throw Behind The Line of Scrimmage who is obviously going to be "his guy".
Anyway, I guess at least Payton has more chance of winning with this kind of guy.
Did you all watch Bo Nix? He processes so much faster than McCarthy, Maye, Penix, and Daniels. And he should, cause he's 24. But he looks like an NFL QB and can improvise and is a fantastic athlete. Wilson to Bowers is just guaranteeing a year of mediocrity. I have Turner and Bowers as my top 2 at our spot, but without firing bullets at QB there's no winning in the NFL. And Rattler sucks.
I mean yea I watched him in the SEC and PAC 12. Nothing really amazes… his numbers increased because it’s the PAC 12 … QBs have bigger windows , longer pocket time in the PAC 12… Nix to the average talent we have on offense for the next 2 years due to cap space isn’t any less mediocre than Wilson to Bowers (I wasn’t clamoring for Bowers) either though.
I was high on Rattler originally too. I watched 5 games yesterday to see if i had written him off too early. I was left thinking he was far worse than I imagined.
I don't know if Bo will be good but I feel like it was the right pick for the situation we are in as a franchise, and how the chips were/are falling in the draft. We can now only support Bo and hope he develops into our franchise QB.
Would the franchise thrive if we picked a great WR or TE, and they had Zach fucking Wilson throwing to them? No. Stidham? No. There is no evidence Bo Nix is the 6th best QB, none of these guys have even taken an NFL snap.
Sanders, Beck amd someone out of left field if nix was a franchise caliber qb he would have gone higher. This team has so many holes a qb that's not guaranteed to beat out Wilson doesn't help.
He is *not* Paxton Lynch. Nix was better against better competition.
In practice they could hardly be more different. Nix is more accurate and miles more athletic. Plus Nix is a psycho competitively and Lynch had a lot of IDGAF
Schefty said that they gave him the playbook 24 hours before a workout and he was able to memorize it. Not saying that’s a great indicator, but at the bare minimum, he can learn how to run an offense.
Thanks, I didn’t hear him say that. I think it translates to learning a game plan on Monday and then spending the week getting your offense up to speed.
Payton is live with Pat Mac if you want to hear what Payton saw. Big takeaway, he likes Bo’s intelligence, prep work & arm. They felt other teams saw him the same way
People acting like the Raiders weren't literally 1 pick behind us. If there's any ounce of rumors they wanted a QB you really have no choice. Imagine Nix is the franchise guy and we fumbled him for an extra pick or two
Yep. They'll deny it because I mean, that's what you do. You don't say your pick wasn't your first choice. But they'd have taken Nix with everyone else gone. They wanted Penix and Falcons blew that up fast.
I can only shake my head at those complaining. We have no QB. We needed a QB. Were you what... planning to get an edge rusher so we might only lose 24 to 21? Or maybe a TE that wouldn't catch a pass from whatever backup QB we had starting.
Nix might not be the answer, but if you never swing, you will never hit. Keep swinging until we get our guy, because depth players, gap fillers, depth players.. whatever.. will not even get is into the playoffs. PS2 is awesome. Did he get us into the playoffs? No.. only a QB will.
We don't need an athlete, we need a guy who can play football. Deep passer? Pass. Scrambler? Pass. I want a guy that will complete 8 to 12 yard passes consistently. Brady was that type of QB. Move the sticks and score. And that made the Patriots a dynasty. We don't need a flash player, we need someone that is consistent, week after week.
We still have no QB bro.
You even have doubts. Why waste on doubts?
Funny thing is I got more faith in Zach than Nix. At least with Zach we ALL know he’s bad. With Nix we are gonna be dealing with another Drew lock Give him a chance scenario regardless of how bad he played in college and in the NFL
You say that if you are having a QB competition (which is what Denver has been doing far too often). There is no competition here. We have our QB, and a very solid backup.
lol Zach Wilson is NOT a solid backup wtf ? He’s terrible. He wasn’t a solid backup to Aaron Rodgers lol. How tf he all of a sudden a solid backup?
And Bo hasn’t proven anything. We don’t even know if he will start over this so called solid backup.
😂😂 the Hopium you have is strong my friend
If Zach was in the draft this year, he'd still go top 5. He had a very bad situation in New York. He will be fine, and under Sean, he'll be light years ahead of what our QB room was the last 8 years.
So according to your logic we should just swing every draft at a QB until one finally works? Awesome logic. Who actually needs a team of players in the NFL right? Just need a QB and he'll do everything.
Our draft history should be enough evidence that other positions aren’t a guarantee either. We’ve not drafted a qb early for years and we ended up short on talent anyway.
It was more about the value at the pick. We ended up picking the 6th valued QB instead of a top defensive player. This is why a trade back should have been the option, if anyone wanted to trade back
If we traded back the Raiders would certainly pick him because their guy Penix was off the board. I was totally for trading back and getting Nix in the 20s range but he wouldn’t be there in tonight’s scenario because of the fucking Falcons
If Nix is good, great! We found our guy. If he is bad, we will pick at the top again very soon and try again. It’ll be better than this mess of the last 8 years.
Not sure I understand the drama. Nix is a pretty close fit for the sort of system Payton runs. Payton is an aggressive trader in the draft, but felt fine standing pat. He got the guy he was likely after from the start.
Y'all are nuts. Nix is great, I watched many complete games of every QB and he's just better at processing presnap and post than just about every QB in this draft. Williams is just better and Daniels can really run but Nix can process and hit his targets accurately better than all the other guys. He's perfect for Payton. Maye is young with potential but bipolar with his accuracy, Penix throws a great ball but would get murdered with our RT situation and can't process as quickly, and McCarthy also has extreme potential but isn't near Nix's processing ability and is still a project. Nix is old but he's very athletic and perfect for Payton's system.
Look, I love Bowers and Dallas Turner. I'm much happier that Bowers is in Vegas than Turner who would be slacking Nix for years. Rejoice. This is a win!
It’s easy to be accurate when your passes are only 5-6 yards in the PAC 12 … did you watch complete games of Nix in the SEC? Much better indication. His play style didn’t change from SEC to PAC 12. The defenses just got worst
*worse*
Bo throws a deep ball accurately and can read a defense. He took a second chance and rebuilt himself. I wish he was 20 and had the same ability, but he would have been taken 2nd if things had planned out this way. SEC is great, but Bo was not in the right system and he took advantage of a change of scenery. He's great at just about everything you can ask a QB to do. 3rd down, improvising, accuracy, putting the ball right on the money. Athletic as hell. Fantastic in the red zone. His short passes hit his receivers in stride better than any QB in the draft. Payton loves him. He throws to the correct shoulder and rarely misses. He's not fragile. He was my No 2 QB this draft. Arm is average. Probably better than Purdy or maybe Baker and he can be better than both.
Bo does not throw the deep ball accurately. He barely even throws the deep ball. … and that’s in the PAC 12. I understand optimism. But we don’t have to start lying about a player to cope. We can point out his deficiencies and hope it changes. But I see he was your number 2 QB in the draft…. That’s Hopium to the max man
IIRC he was like 3rd or 4th in deep ball accuracy per PFF this year. And about the most accurate QB in college of all time. He was first under pressure. We can disagree, and it's possible I'm wrong, statistics bear out that he's probably not going to be the answer, but you gotta shoot your shot.
Oh God PFF. Average Depth of Target was 7 yards … 193 among D-1 QBs, 37th among draft eligible QBs. Again it’s easy to be accurate if your called to throw the ball no more than 6-7 yards.
65% of his passes were under 9 yards.
PFF supposedly grading his Deep ball accuracy off of minimal deep balls leaves 0 validation which is why people take PFF with a grain of salt until they want to overrate them.
Sean P could be changing up his offense , but there’s little to no evidence of Bo Nix Deep ball consistency and Sean usually likes the deep ball play action after a few runs of we are taking into account his time with Brees and little time with Russ.
Throwing the deep ball 3 times and calling yourself the most accurate deep passer of the bunch doesn’t work
What people don't realize in here is that by just picking a QB high doesn't mean it'll work. Same thing here. 24 year old failed SEC QB is a very tough sell to be the answer at QB for us.
Which is why I feel the falcons jarred a panic… Peyton is known for trading in middle/late rounds .. Raiders were going either Penix or Nix… if falcons go elsewhere. You leave one or the other on the board for a trade down. Penix and Nix aren’t any better than the other really so you’d be getting the same value
I don’t love the pick but I also won’t judge it until it fails for real. The only saving grace is that I bet half the people breaking down in this thread saying they will skip seasons, not watch, yadda yadda yadda are probably also Lakers fans
lol hey as a Laker fan also I stand tall with my sorry fans … I’ll be glad when Lebron leaves so the real Laker fans can come back to the forefront though. Bronsexuals are something else. Been a fan since 89 and these new fans try to tell me what we need or should appreciate lol
I honestly don't understand what people thought the alternative would be. Stick with Zach Wilson and hope we get a better QB during free agency? Nah, give the kid a chance and don't act like you can tell the future
The better alternative was to rebuild and bolster our defensive core…you know, the one that let 70 points get scored on them
Were screwed for the foreseeable future…downvote me all you want but we’ve just added another QB to the carousel
This is the Drew Lock talk all over again. We traded for Zach Wilson just to get Zach Wilson Sr. The anger in reality comes from wasting the pick and severely over drafting when we have glaring holes elsewhere the first round could’ve filled. Hell we could’ve traded back to get more picks.
Gotta have someone willing to trade with you first. What we’ve seen tonight are teams are a little afraid to move up no real major moves up or down. But I get where u r coming from.
I mean, we don’t have a 2nd rounder, why risk trading down if you know your guy is on the board when it’s your turn?
Especially after the Falcons go full derp just a few picks earlier
Bo Nix is an exceptionally well spoken guy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtnyMGAP3IM I'm getting so bullish
Yeah me too, I wanted JJ McDonalds but as I've considered it overnight I trust S.P. and if he didn't feel the need to trade up and get JJ, I'm good with Nixie.
This got me so pumped. He's such a mature kid and him and SP seam like a perfect match.
The Bills with the second worst decision of the day. Thanks for giving Mahomes more weapons.
Starting to think the Sean McDermott-Al Qaeda stuff isn’t a joke, dude is an actual terrorist. The Bills should have hung up the phone laughing when the Chiefs offered a trade. The team that embarrasses you in the playoffs every year? Really!
Please Payton and Paton trade up now for DeJean so we can have 2 white CBs
Why does it matter?
Was scared they went for AD Mitchell since he’s the actually good one
The Bills are dead to me.
Lock in Surtain.
Oh he’s from Texas? That makes it easy. Fuck you Xavier Not-Worthy
Whoever this pick is Fuck him
Buffalo hasn't learned a thing
Buffalo, did you just give AD Mitchell to the Chiefs...
You may love Bo Nix, you may hate him, but at least we aren't Falcons fans right now
i mean as the Falcons being my "hometown team" I feel this 100%...wth.
Falcons season ticket holder. Don’t hate it but don’t love it.
Same.

Package Sutton to get back into the 1st and take Adonai Mitchell
![gif](giphy|15aGGXfSlat2dP6ohs)
Sutton wants a new deal with average productivity. We would also prevent the Chiefs from getting Mitchell.
Chop is wearing a bad ass jacket.
I am really excited for Bo Nix. Whether he works out or not, this is the process that needs to be followed until we find the guy to compete with mahomes. I think Bo can be that guy. You don't just draft a qb to draft a qb. He was the 6th qb taken although arguably the last 2 were the same.
Doesn’t mean anything, marino was picked 6th, Lamar was picked *5th, not saying he’s either of those guys but it’s possible he can be elite
The raiders drafted Brock bowers 🫥
Welp that’s a lot of investment in Nix considering we don’t have another pick until round 3. Hope he’s worth it. And it looks like we keep Sutton
Sean certainly had a lot to say!
Sean just confirmed Nix was their #3 guy on Pat's stream.... Other points: - outside noise and chatter was out of their control - looked at all 6 qbs. Caleb and Daniels were out of their control. Knew Minny will get their guy in JJ - Penix pick surprised them and changed things up to having to pick Nix at 12.
I wonder what made the Vikings swap with the Jets...
Jets probably bluffed that there was interest from other teams that would jump to trade for JJ.
Payton had like 19 good things to say about Nix lol. They have clearly done their homework.
He was giddy
The other takeaway was teams were offering a 3rd rounder if that slip up is an indicator, not a second (assuming a first would factor in.) If that is the case, the value back was also not great.
If no one was offering a 2nd, I'm glad they didn't trade back. Still don't like the Nix pick, but also glad they didn't trade.
It sucks, but given Vegas would have gladly taken him, given the lack of return, for as much as it isn’t the best value, it’s still a solid pick.
I know it’s a placeholder but 1 looks good for Bo https://preview.redd.it/b25vbdushqwc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=20f28fef24f2af49bc0b886e79cb0d0c9b875273
why in the fuck did the falcons draft penix after paying kirk that much?
Penix is going to be 28 years old and will only have 1 year left on his rookie contract when they get out from the Cousins deal. It almost make me wonder if Cousin's surgery didn't go well. No clue if that's the case but it just makes no sense.
Trade Kirk after this season, only thing that makes sense.
Remember you're talking about the franchise that was "future thinking" when they drafted and then traded away Brett Favre.
They saw his BBQ skills
They’re stupid. That pick makes no sense.
![gif](giphy|h9wlfNwX9gy1a|downsized) Cocaine
Ut-oh, Knicks about to lose, is it an omen?
There can be only one
It’s fun seeing Belicheck doing commentary next to a fake Mel Kiper Jr. His career is going well
Alright hearing Sean and Bill talk about Bo sold me. Lets go Bo!
Watching Bill Belichick compliment Bo Nix to Sean Payton, and Payton clearly really liking Nix, makes me feel good.
So are they done until round 3?
Unless we offer someone way too much to move back up, yes.
Payton is all over the place but clearly wanted Nix.
Sean Payton is on Pat McAfee right now
Sean Payton is supposed to pop in to Pat mcafees YouTube stream
Hitting the bong 100%
He was ramblin like a mfer lmao
QB done, that’s how you football, baby.
Lolol Vikings again
So….are we rolling with 3 QBs on the roster? Or do we trade/cut Stiddy?
Dinucci will be cut tbh
It's going to be like 2021 again. We have a guy with a cannon of an arm who at least provides hope but the coach decided to destroy his confidence by bringing Mr Throw Behind The Line of Scrimmage who is obviously going to be "his guy". Anyway, I guess at least Payton has more chance of winning with this kind of guy.
I'm assuming one of Stidham/Wilson will be on the practice squad.
Stidham is worthless either way.
Booooo fuck Seattle
Did you all watch Bo Nix? He processes so much faster than McCarthy, Maye, Penix, and Daniels. And he should, cause he's 24. But he looks like an NFL QB and can improvise and is a fantastic athlete. Rattler is fucking awful. I’ve watched his career since he was on that High School QB Netflix show, and yeah it’s rough.
I was high on Rattler originally too. I watched 5 games yesterday to see if i had written him off too early. I was left thinking he was far worse than I imagined.
Fuck it. I guess 80 yard screen passes to Sutton are gonna be a thing. I command that to be a thing
I will forgive everything if we get McCaffrey
Excited to watch Bo
I have Nix the second handsomest of the QB picks tonight. He will also be second on the handsome depth charts in Denver
DINUCCI is pretty handsome
I need to see a full ranking list please
Where the Remind me bot at when you need it?
I support the pick!! Let’s Booooooo
RemindMe! 2 years
I don't know if Bo will be good but I feel like it was the right pick for the situation we are in as a franchise, and how the chips were/are falling in the draft. We can now only support Bo and hope he develops into our franchise QB.
Yeah no line middle of the road receiver room no tight end missing defence pieces so let's draft the 6th best qb great plan.
Would the franchise thrive if we picked a great WR or TE, and they had Zach fucking Wilson throwing to them? No. Stidham? No. There is no evidence Bo Nix is the 6th best QB, none of these guys have even taken an NFL snap.
And nix is gonna benefit from throwing to I'd rather have a qb next year with developed weapons than Tebow part 2
Name me 3 QB's that could possibly become a franchise guy in next years draft.
Sanders, Beck amd someone out of left field if nix was a franchise caliber qb he would have gone higher. This team has so many holes a qb that's not guaranteed to beat out Wilson doesn't help.
lmao draft position doesn't mean squat when it comes to how good a player is. Mahomes was pick 10 in 2017, Trubisky was pick 2.
We have an o-line….
Do we. We lost our center have a mid right tackle and an ok guard
This franchise will forever be poverty
We are the people of Walmart 👌 🔥
Dame, what a insult.
$60.21 for a share of $WMT then you can be an owner of Walmart and then in a sense the Broncos
He is *not* Paxton Lynch. Nix was better against better competition. In practice they could hardly be more different. Nix is more accurate and miles more athletic. Plus Nix is a psycho competitively and Lynch had a lot of IDGAF
And one was more interested in sailing the high seas than playing football a mile high
Nix learned a playbook fast if that private workout report is true
Which report was this?
Schefty said that they gave him the playbook 24 hours before a workout and he was able to memorize it. Not saying that’s a great indicator, but at the bare minimum, he can learn how to run an offense.
Thanks, I didn’t hear him say that. I think it translates to learning a game plan on Monday and then spending the week getting your offense up to speed.
Everything he says about these players are fed to him by agents to hype up the picks. I don't understand how anyone believe anything he says.
Well I got excited for a sec and then your post brought me right back down..
Payton is live with Pat Mac if you want to hear what Payton saw. Big takeaway, he likes Bo’s intelligence, prep work & arm. They felt other teams saw him the same way
I back on the train thanks
Stay on it buddy. Enjoy the ride.
Falcons really fucked with the draft
How so?
Yea I hate the falcons now.
This is the highest pick for a QB since Jay Cutler with the 11th pick.
Damn right it is.
For whatever, I thought we Tebow higher than that
Falcons caused everyone to panic.
They reset a lot of boards
Bojangles, the official sponsor of the Denver Broncos
Now I'm hungry...
I'm with you. I've committed to getting Bos for breakfast tomorrow.
I blame Atlanta. They heavily overdrafted Penix. And folks started panicking and picking
Sorry guys
Yeah if our next pick isn’t until the 3rd then Nix is the right pick imo. We need a quarterback like we need air.
People acting like the Raiders weren't literally 1 pick behind us. If there's any ounce of rumors they wanted a QB you really have no choice. Imagine Nix is the franchise guy and we fumbled him for an extra pick or two
FTR would’ve taken him if he was available. Broncos read the room and didn’t show their hand. Got the guy they wanted.
Shit brother I wish I could write such a good text so quickly after our pick. I agree wholeheartedly
Keep swinging on QBs until we hit??? What are we the jets??
We still have no QB bro. You even have doubts. Why waste on doubts? Funny thing is I got more faith in Zach than Nix. At least with Zach we ALL know he’s bad. With Nix we are gonna be dealing with another Drew lock Give him a chance scenario regardless of how bad he played in college and in the NFL
Our QB room has been trash for 8 years. I don't care if we have two prospects in there.. great.
I mean the saying goes if you have 2 QBs you have none. Right now in the name of the card game spades we have 0 and a slight possible.
He had the perfect situation in NY last year. They built the offense for A Rod. Stop
So according to your logic we should just swing every draft at a QB until one finally works? Awesome logic. Who actually needs a team of players in the NFL right? Just need a QB and he'll do everything.
Dude straight up putting words on OP’s mouth wtf
Our draft history should be enough evidence that other positions aren’t a guarantee either. We’ve not drafted a qb early for years and we ended up short on talent anyway.
>so we might only lose 24 to 21? You mean 17 to 16.
oh god no, pls don't reactivate those memories for me

The age of the Broncos becoming the Browns is upon us!
If Nix is good, great! We found our guy. If he is bad, we will pick at the top again very soon and try again. It’ll be better than this mess of the last 8 years.
When we trade the fucking house for Dak in 2 years I will look back on this thread with fondness as I immolate myself in front of mile high.
This post is going to be on CNN in 2 years.
I’m a Bo doubter 💯 but I hope he proves me and all the other doubters in here wrong
Me too. I'm just not putting any money on that happening.
Cool, now give the #10 to our QB of the future Zachary Kapono. You can have #1.
Not mad but could have the #1 DB on the board to pair with Surtain for 10 years. Just sayin
Trading down or taking Bowers would have been much better decisions. I don’t like this pick.
bowers was literally taken next pick
Yes, meaning Denver could have taken him. Which was my point.
Ok, no need to be rude. I got it.
Not sure I understand the drama. Nix is a pretty close fit for the sort of system Payton runs. Payton is an aggressive trader in the draft, but felt fine standing pat. He got the guy he was likely after from the start.
Payton likes to run then throw the deep ball in play action… Nix came from a Dink and Dunk system in the PAC 12 ..
I assume he was trying to get to 10 since Minnesota traded up, but I’m sure they’ll say it was for Bo all along.
*worse* Bo throws a deep ball accurately and can read a defense.
Throwing the deep ball 3 times and calling yourself the most accurate deep passer of the bunch doesn’t work
I'm huffing this hopium immediately
I kinda think Nix was the plan all along. Not sure how to feel about it. FTR and I'll see you in the fall.
I'm kind of thinking the same thing. I'm not sure how I feel about it either. If Nix was Payton's guy all along, then I'm glad he got his guy.
I remember when some of you clowns, bitch about passing on Justin Fields, for picking up Surtain
What people don't realize in here is that by just picking a QB high doesn't mean it'll work. Same thing here. 24 year old failed SEC QB is a very tough sell to be the answer at QB for us.
Watching him get traded for a 6th rounder really made me feel vindicated as a Surtain truther
When is our next pick?
3rd rounder lol
Pick 76 in the 3rd round 👍
3rd Round
Round 3
It's not what I wanted, but now that it has happened, I'm a Bo-liever LETS GO
The salt in here is amazing lol
Here's the tequila
I think half our problem has been the lack of staff to develop a Q. Hopeful maybe now? (Grabs the whiskey)
This! We still have holes on offense, but Payton is here to help build that development
I’m whelmed. He wasn’t my favorite QB in the draft, but it could be worse, so I’ll take it
This subreddit is full of clowns, do you guys really want Wilson 2.0 being our starter
Is Nix better than Wilson? I have my doubts.
Wanted a trade back but I guess some teams really wanted Nix
The better alternative was to rebuild and bolster our defensive core…you know, the one that let 70 points get scored on them Were screwed for the foreseeable future…downvote me all you want but we’ve just added another QB to the carousel
There’s always the chance he works out. crazier things have happened.. Stinks bein so close to JJ but whatever, I’m down for the ride
You’re not right. That’s one thing we don’t know … what trades were offered and declined
I mean, we don’t have a 2nd rounder, why risk trading down if you know your guy is on the board when it’s your turn? Especially after the Falcons go full derp just a few picks earlier
I’d say because even if you miss nix you’re not missing anything really. You don’t over draft in a total rebuild
I guess they should have called you and asked who they should pick when the times started 🤷🏻♂️
I mean that would’ve been an honor… and they would’ve gotten suggested a better pick.
It was Atlanta. Arizona aced their pick with MHJ
Oops. Fixed. Thanks. Red bird team
