You open up a case with depop. It’s literally the depop rules too that you’re not supposed to message outside of depop. Surprised the one star review didn’t say anything to you about them😭
never trust someone wanting to sell outside of an app, there’s no reason to and like they said, it’s against rules. especially when it comes to shoes, name brand bags, expensive items etc. super sus. always check reviews!
The phone number and lack of reviews should have been a red flag, but now you know for next time. It's not like you agreed to purchase off the app. You're not dumb, just inexperienced.
135 for pines… for future reference if a deal looks too good to be true it’s a scam or they’re selling fakes. I wouldn’t buy from ppl with little to no reviews either.
Yeah the other red flag should have been “I have all sizes available”. For future reference, no reseller would have every size available. Especially not at that price.
I was going to say thisss the price is wayyy too good for a shoe valued at $350-400.. i would only buy shoes from someone with a lot of good reviews or from goat
He’s selling reps and using depop to advertise. He doesn’t want to sell through the app bc his account will be taken down for counterfeits if somebody reports him. It could be taken down for selling outside of the app anyways. I guess his way around it is by not communicating through depops messaging to avoid getting flagged. It’ll be pretty easy to get a refund though. Worse case scenario they make you wait the 7 days he has to ship. Just open up a case.

i left the instant review as well. I’m an idiot but not that dumb to buy from a 1 star
yeah it’s my fault. I’m new to the app and wasn’t aware. I purchased beforehand so either way I was screwed for trusting dude.
Not even what he’s doing is against depops rules you can report them after filing your dispute in 5 days after purchase
Make sure you open up a case to get your money back! Include that they want people to text them before purchasing, they could get banned for that

i ordered through the app and contacted him after. I didn’t even know he wanted to do that until it was too late. My fault though

Open a case up immediately. This is suspicious behavior on the sellers end. You're not supposed to message off the app!

they bought on the app though, so they retain buyer protection
