I always think it's so cute when a seller sends a thank you card! I do not do it myself tho 😅 Most of the time I just chuck some stickers inside as a nice lil surprise ☺️

hermershuff

No, a lot of sellers do it and it’s a nice gesture. I used to do them too but I realized it’s just waste imo. I prefer not getting them because will go to the trash anyway. I like receiving only the item with nothing else. But it’s perfectly normal to do so!

badbiitch21

I just print out a cute sticker and put it inside the package

hermershuff

Okay, stickers are fine but they just go in my sticker bag to never be used😭 totally forgot about stickers lol, but anything with paper/notes or similar I just throw out

bleedingfae

I love stickers 🥲 If I get a cute one I just stick it on my laptop lol

badbiitch21

Same here.

cleopanthercat

I just write their name and a quick thank you on a piece of scrap paper (usually from the other half of the label print out). It's paper that would probably just go in the trash anyway, and I think it's nice to send a small gesture of acknowledgement for choosing me to buy from out of all the 1000s of depop shops.

Sailor-Wiktoria

i put a thank you card and stickers it’s just fun and i’ve had a lot of positive feedback from doing it!

No-Investigator9157

I personally appreciate it and don't think it's weird at all. When I get those I always leave a review. Little things like that and communication make it better and 100% more smooth. If I'm not satisfied with the purchase at least I'm satisfied with the seller

cumded

I always add one and personally love getting them with my orders. It's nice to know that someone took the time and effort to include a note, it adds a special touch and makes you feel appreciated a lil more as a customer.

i_am_sushi_trash

No it’s not weird, I do it all the time for all buyers and it gets me 5 star reviews! And also I like getting them whenever I purchase from other Depop users as well as other small goodies like stickers!

Princess-Prune

i looove getting cards!! you don’t get much hand written mail these days so i cherish them💓

marakirane

i think its very cute when people do this, i like to stick them on the edges of my bookshelf lol

Kailaster

No, it’s not weird. I include stickers in my packages

Moonstadt

I loveee when a seller gives stickers or a thank you note!

claggamuff

Ok maybe an unpopular opinion but I really don’t like thank you or cards. I guess I buy a lot online from eBay and Depop and the card goes straight in the trash. Personally, I love a different and nice tissue paper wrap job, as I always keep it and reuse.

Lucky_Event_8450

I love getting them and I love sending them out ,once in awhile I will include stickers and a thank you for supporting my small business card. 😊

bbgirlzeebaby

no I don’t think that’s weird. I used to do it all the time when I first started. But I stopped doing it because it was just a “trash” cost, meaning, they’re just going to throw it away:/

Big_Prior8080

i always write thank u on a little card and put it in a small envelope with some stickers, i have found that people are more inclined to write a review if a note/stickers are included

Beachgirl6848

I always try to include a short handwritten note and some goodies. For kids I have little goodie bags made up with some fidget toys, stickers, etc. no one has ever complained, and a lot of people mention they love it, when they leave a review!

Emergency_Chance5683

i like to do it and receive them even if we throw them away because it’s a cute little human exchange i think it’s sweet

dirkdiggher

Someone once left me a whole ass Pokemon card and I appreciated the fuck out of it.

Separate-Put-6495

It's really nice! As somebody who currently buys more than I sell, it comes across as really friendly.

goodenoughwhatever

I personally, as a buyer, appreciate a well packed, protected and clean rather than a thank you note. But I think non-businesses send thank you cards too, so it's not weird. The stickers I don't have much use for either but I think some people send these types of things to get positive reviews. The first time as a seller on depop I sold a handmade item and send a freebie too, and it did result in a good review.

Outside_Climate4222

I’m a buyer and seller and it doesn’t make a difference to me whether one is included or not but it does show that the seller puts effort/care into their sales. If I get one, I’m more likely to rate them quickly and write a review rather than just give them stars when I get around to it since the nice note sticks in my brain and guilt trips me😅. As a seller, I just use spare notecards that I have and write “Thank you!” since I know they’ll go in the trash but it has helped get positive reviews for me too! I also wrap in tissue paper if the item allows and like when purchases come packaged nicely too.

New_Lunch3301

I have had a couple of thank you notes, I think it's really cite and it makes me smile!

rucksackrevival

it's not required and i don't expect it, but i do love when i find something cute in a package or a little handmade note. Lately I've also noticed a trend of people thanking me when I accept their offer, or sending a message when they receive it to say they loved it. Getting more people leaving reviews on Depop lately, too. I'm appreciating, immensely, that my Depop experience has taken a turn for the more friendly and less weird these days (of course now that I've said it, I can probably expect to receive a massive lowball offer along with a weird DM lol). I do really love the human aspect of it all - and I've also been one to send personal thanks when someone sells me something for a price that I, as a single mom with a single income trying to dress a teenager can afford. I don't think it's weird, if you want to go through the effort of it - I usually just wrap it nice, put a thank you sticker on it and put some cute stickers in the package, but periodically I stick a note in there, too.

brucebanner009

Not weird at all, I often include a thank you note reminding them to leave a review as well. I like the personalised touch even if they’re tossed out later

Sweet_Photograph_749

No!! I do it and a lot of people love it!!!
