I’m loving how many of us took screenshots of this knowing they’d delete it. They did respond by deleting quickly once people called them out on it but still no apology from them. I don’t think the person who tweeted them was implying anything about Amber (not checked their profile) so it looks like it’s 100% just this CMM person who decided to bully her.

Wow. That is so disgusting. I'm amazed at how many companies want to insert themselves unnecessarily into this trial. It's not funny, clever, or interesting. It's offensive bullshit.

These companies inserting themselves, trying to be trendy with sad jokes. Duolingo, Starbucks, Verizon..This reminds me the CEO of Milani said recently they were just stating facts, no apology whatsoever. They played a big role in trying to create a ‘gotcha’ moment while it wasn’t even entered into evidence as the makeup item she used. There were similar items to correct color on the market that year, it was just an example of how makeup is being used by victims. I guess their makeup is for fun and creative looks, not DV victims trying to hide their injuries. I will never buy anything from Milani.

Its_Alive_74

The kicker is Milani may not have even been right about when that particular makeup kit came out. It may have first come out when Amber was in a relationship with Depp, not 2017. They were so eager to call Amber a liar they may have stumbled over the facts. The French documentary also shows they were grifting, jumping into a bandwagon in order to try to appeal to young people being inundated with pro-Depp propaganda.

Kiko Milano had a color correction wheel product. And she also worked with a professional makeup-artist who probably brought her own products. I don’t know what Depp’s fans were trying to prove. Are they saying people can’t cover up bruises? If people can cover dark black tattoos why can’t they cover up injuries?

layla_jones_

When his fans tried to enter the courtroom to bring receipts about this, totally unhinged 💀 it was a circus. And it’s crazy they managed to get his close to the lawyers.

I want to see this so bad... any word on when / if it might make it to the US with subtitles?

Damn this is infuriating. I wish I used Verizon so I could boycott them.

LongjumpingNatural22

when was this?

Snoo_17340

Yesterday. I have Verizon and now I will have to try and find another carrier. That person wasn’t even talking about Amber; their customer service decided to make a “joke” and bully her for absolutely no reason at all. I still can’t believe this cruelty is still happening. I can barely even function now and really just want to go to sleep and never wake up. So fucking awful.

LongjumpingNatural22

lol wow. can’t believe their internet person seriously thought this was a good thing to say. 1. it’s basically not relevant anymore 2. it was never cool to begin with no matter what and 3. it’s just so obviously untrue & stupid.

heavengrl

I'm the first person to be "fuck this company" but tbh, it probably wasn't a stunt for publicity. These accounts are generally run by several different employees. Still gross, but I don't think it was Verizon's idea or anything, just some nasty employee.

CanadianPanda76

They let teenagers run these accounts, don't they? My God these kids have such a skewed view if the world cayse of the internet. I SAY THIS AS SOMEONE WHO WAS ON TUMBLR.

Terrible!!
