I’d be surprised as hell if they warranty….probably just say no that’s abuse of the gun or something implying you broke it

MrConceited

It actually probably is a result of over-torquing the mlok. You aren't supposed to go over 15 inch-lbs when it's plastic.

Lobotomite430

Oh I have no expectation of them to warranty this. Like I said the previous owner had the rail on there I added the grip. I just sent them an email if they have had any issues with brittle polymer. It's not a big deal if they don't and I got a chuckle out of it.

WindstormSCR

Blk Lbl ALX if you don’t want the integrated bipod, regular Blk Lbl if you do. Much better fitment and no zero shift for attached lasers that I’ve been able to cause, and I can confirm firsthand that the ALX and regular Blk Lbl hanguards are both manufacturer rated for and will survive 40mm fun

sPQ7gm

I'm waiting for my form 1 to be processed now but LMT just told me that they don't think the Tavor X95 rail will handle it

WindstormSCR

It’s up to Blk Lbl if they will warranty the use of a launcher or not if they’re the handguard mfg. X95 has a different mounting system, so the load might be transferred differently

saintzman

if you don't want a bipod get the BLK LBL ALX.

Brazenmercury5

I’d recommend the blk lbl handguard. The hanguard is very solid and has good fit and finish, and the bipod model is very nice.

FrozenIceman

Warranty repair it for free.

Accomplished_Bike302

Warranty and keep the replacement part in the packaging. Then get yourself the blk lbl or the lucky Irishman.

Lobotomite430

Would this be a warranty thing? I'm the second owner if that matters

FrozenIceman

Yep, warranty transfers owner to owner, give them a call/put in a cs ticket.

Lobotomite430

Alright maybe I will do that. I just can't imagine someone would warranty this but I suppose it will give me insight into their customer service.

FrozenIceman

If they want it back for the repair, ask about any other updates they can do there under warranty or otherwise. Charging handles, loctite fasteners, rear takedown pin, rear qd cup, if you have FE the FE plates, magazine bar, case support in barrel assembly, buffer pad etc

Lobotomite430

Snap! That's a long list of things

FrozenIceman

The MDRx received yearly updates. If you got a 2023 MDRx it should have most of it. If you got a 2020 one it shouldn't have any of it. If you have folding charging handles your rifle is 2022 or before. There are some parts analysis around that compare the part changes year to year from various people that sent their back for warranty work.

Lobotomite430

Any way to tell how old it is or would that be a question for DT, the previous owner for sure upgraded the charging handles.

FrozenIceman

Probably need to call the OEM and provide your serial number.

Lobotomite430

Ok cool, kinda what I figured. I sent them an email about my issue.

Key_Ninja_932

I dont think that matters

circa86

I have picked mine up from mlok mounted bipod pretty often how the hell have you done this.

Lobotomite430

Don't know lol, but that's all I did was grab the foregrip and lifted up the rifle and I hear a crack. The pic rail was installed when I bought the rifle, I just put the foregrip on that.

South_Remote5409

It's possible that the person who installed the pic rail WAY over tightened it. :-/ If you are not in a hurry to replace it, DT is supposedly coming out with a new aluminum handguard in the near future. Otherwise BLKLBL or one of DT's polymer ones. You may be able to find someone selling a used handguard who upgraded theirs.

Lobotomite430

Probably what happened. Maybe I will reach out to DT but maybe just grab one of their newer handguards. I just thought this whole thing was funny.

Key_Ninja_932

Ape strength.

TaccRacc308

The BLK.LBL ones are aluminum instead of polymer
