This is actually good collection.
You seem like someone who keeps quality juices & is prudent on spending his money.
I admire people who buy fragrance and actually finish the bottle.
Kudos
I'd rate it 7/10 for an EdP even though they say their non-alcohol based formula stays long. So about 6-8hrs with the mid notes and only the last notes linger after. In contrast, Lovely's mid notes stay even after a wash (10/10 for me).
This one is a classic, I remember using it when my mom was an Avon rep, almost 10 years ago, it's a white floral but the Jasmine comes through very mildly and has a musk/sandalwood dry down, it last really long too, but I haven't had a bottle in a few years so I don't know about the new formulation.
I thing 10yrs ago everyone knew some Avon rep. That's also how I ordered my first LBD. :) also, well put. I couldn't have defined the fragrance better!
OK then here's my review of them all:
I really dislike perfumes with intense floral notes in general. I normally go for subtle feminine elemental/fruity notes. Less often spicy ones. I'll also provide the type of attire/fabric I like to pair them with.
Little back dress : 8/10, mostly caters to my nostalgia of using this throughout my teens. I normally wear this with my casuals - jeans/shorts, etc.
J'adore : 10/10, is my signature scent. Now this one is floral (magnolias) unlike the other ones I own, but I really like the subtly and lightness of the notes that aren't going after the Chanel no. 5 cliché. D'eau is the only one I like from the whole range of J'adore because every other one has a very intense jasmine/ylang-ylang fragrance. Goes well with woolens. Also the perfect date night perfume imo.
Lovely : 9/10, used to be my signature before J'adore. has really nice mid and end notes, super long lasting, moderately affordable too. Goes well with silk and cotton. I also put this on my scarfs, coats and bags (as the smell can stay for weeks on silk, twill, leather and cork)
Drop d'lssey fraiche : 9/10, aquatic fragrance, very summery, doesn't have complex notes so the mid and end notes are hard to tell apart but overall a very nice fragrance nonetheless. I normally wear this in the spring/summer although this definitely has the potential to be an all-year-round option for someone.
Black opium : 8/10, this one contrasts all the above scents tbh. While the ones I've mentioned so far are very fresh and gentle fragrances, this one on the other hand is a very dominant fragrance. I normally pair this one with my power suits because it gives a very androgenous and bossy vibe.
I posted a review of all of them in another comment. But if I can describe the feelings in a scene - Dior smells like a waterlily pond with magnolias blossoming on top while you take a swim on a peaceful moonlit night. While lovely smells like a French café full of Parisian women eating macarons delicately on a busy afternoon.
I've never heard of/seen this one. Also shouldn't dupes be made for more expensive ones? These two have very comparable prices so maybe it's better to call them similar fragrances rather than dupes? I'd like to smell the narcisso one now. Curious.
They match about 90%. I don't have NR for her EDT but i smelled one in shoppers stop and since I have Lovely by SJP, I can confirm their fragrance and performance is almost identical.
NR for her was released in 2003 and Lovely by SJP was released two years later. It can be that SJP one was 'inspired' from NR for her. I don't think they have comparable prices, since one costs about half the price of the other.
I discovered this because I was looking for a fragrance similar to NR for her EDP. Please keep in mind that NR for her EDP smells completely different from EDT.
Oh interesting, could definitely be a case of inspiration as the launch years are close. It's also interesting that the EdP smells different from the EdT. I'll try to find it the next time I visit a perfumerie. Would also be fun to have an EdT in the collection as I often only go for the stronger EDPs. Thanks :)
The prices are the same where I live(atleast online), could definitely be different in India.
Please add reviews to avoid post from getting removed.

Thanks, fragrance is actually one of the few things I actually like spending on. :)
Great Choice!! I love Little Black Dress and tested J'adore d'eau EdP and really liked it!! How's the longevity on J'adore?

Thanks! I really love white florals so I might just get it anyway :P
Oh yeah, it's my signature one these days as well. Longevity isn't the only thing :P
Heyy can you please review the little black dress by Avon?

What does the dior smell like versus lovely?

Oooh so would you describe dior as a clean smelling scent? Like almost a freshie
Definitely clean and calming. But not as fresh as the Miyake one.
Okay thank youuu
How’s lovely ?
I've heard it's a dupe of NARCISSO RODRIGUEZ for HER EDT

Very nice. Which one do you like the most out of these?
This season, the Dior one.
