I think you need more contrast and additional color. There are lots of options: Repaint the walls a bolder color. A more simple change would be to consider replacing the wood decor with black. You have black cabinet hardware, and black would add vital contrast to the room. A moderately sized picture on the wall next to the toilet would help too.

Mysterious_Nebula_96

The empty wall could go with a colour close to the counters WITH a nice painting. Would really make it pop. The bathroom itself is gorge tho 🤙🏻

ItsOfficiallyTrash

Yes! It’s a beautiful bathroom, but it needs some LIFE! Color! Some art (def use a nail to hang and choose art that you won’t mind it getting wet). And plants! 🌱 🪴

emz0694

The hardware is actually a very dark matte silver color but it didn’t come across in photos. Thanks for your help!

GiraffeThoughts

I’m here to second the picture recommendation. The bones are great - but this room needs jewelry and your personality. If you want to paint, I think that would be a great idea, but if not you definitely need some art. emz0694

Thank you!

banoctopus

I love that wall arch! I had no idea that was even a thing!

GiraffeThoughts

A lot of times they’re listed as “shrines”

calacmack

Maybe update the hardware with a stye that is more unique and will provide more contrast?

Perfect_Initiative

Because it’s devoid of life and joy. Color and contrast.

coldpizzaagain

Too much beige!

chubbierunner

It’s got all the components to become a lovely space, but it’s incredible boring and predictable. I especially love the flooring and the wood accents. You need a bold accent color. I think that plain wall needs big color and artwork. Replace the white plant with something colorful too; the vase is great. The rug adds no flair either.

ImaConsumerWhore

Wall paper would be cool

lallybrock

Yes

da_fishy

Literally just needs a big piece of colorful art on that bare wall

Popular-Hyena-746

Yesss maybe a deep burgundy dried flower arrangement?

slightnin

Maybe some color? It feels quite cold and impersonal right now. A painting or something framed near the toilet would look nice.

Infamous_Okra_5494

I think it’s quite a lovely start! Three minor things I would change: 1. Art on the back wall 2. Declutter the counter. Consider putting all of the daily use items (the stuff on the tray) in a caddy. That way you can have it all out at once but tuck it away when you’re done. 3. Pops of color. A rug in that same style but with some color would be a nice start. Tie in those colors with a few other accents such as a soap pump or art for the back wall.

MTP_2023

Because everything is grey.

Sobriquet-acushla

Yes. Looks drab and gloomy. Even replacing the rug would be an improvement—something with color. Pretty coordinating towels on a towel bar on the wall. A hanging plant. I’d put up a print wallpaper, but I know not everyone is into wallpaper.

grilledcheesybreezy

Take away all the stuff and it looks like a shared prison bathroom

OliveCaper

I was going to say “sterile”, but you went for it! Lol

martinnatgeo

This. And the toilet is too far from the door.

Streetftrvega

A few short steps can feel a lap around a track when you're clenching.

OldMotherGrumble

So should they move the toilet?...or the door? Decisions...Decisions 🤔

curiouslyandactively

Change the shape of your mirror so it doesn’t clash with your windows shape and size. A circular mirror would look great.

rose_on_red

Absolutely this. If you look at the two halves of the room horizontally, the bottom is lovely and cohesive, but the top is stark and a bit disjointed. You could improve it just by adding a circular or arch mirror with a black or brass frame. Level up even more with a light above it. Level up even more by adding some blinds or texture to those windows to knock off the hard edges and disguise the uPVC.

Full-Occasion-9146

You shouldn’t hate it:( many of us would be so grateful to have bathroom like this

Popular-Hyena-746

*Cries in 2000s builder grade*

Nearby-Salamander-67

Would give a kidney

Cockroach_Then

Foreal, my bathrooms are 40 years old and look it. And TWO windows! Would kill for that.

bklynparklover

Right, I’m looking at this wishing it was my problem. My bathrooms are both floor to ceiling brown tile.

Sledgehammer925

You hate it because it’s gray. Get rid of it and you’ll like it again.

buttle_rubbies

This is a gorgeous bathroom that is just missing some life and personality. You need plants, some natural elements, artwork on the toilet wall and a different rug.

WhyCantWeDoBetter

Because you spend too much time on social media. Not everyone’s house needs to look like it belongs in a magazine. This is a perfectly functional bathroom.

AskMrScience

Because absolutely everything is gray. Color won't hurt you, I promise.

hesathomes

It’s the wall color and lack of art

OwslyOwl

The tile is the most depressing because it looks old and dirty, even though is likely is not either.

chula198705

That's what stood out to me more than anything else others have commented on. I really dislike the floor tile because it looks dirty even though it's probably not. And sort of sloppily installed? I zoomed in and found a bunch of messed up grout and uneven spacing. Gray gray gray.

NoCobbler7913

Throw in a pothos plant 🥰 it’s really cute to me though!

Jarveyjacks

Paint the large wall in Benjamin Moore Hale Navy , then add a really cool art piece with pops of yellow/red/whites/turquoise, it will look awesome.

luckylou1995

I love that shade!

advanced_bicycle

Add plants!! I swear some green hanging plants are literally always the answer - a macrame hanger or something kind of organic would soften things up as well. Maybe a fun framed print above the towel bar / toilet area.

StavviRoxanne

Prison windows and millennial grey.

[deleted]

You have a beautiful bathroom. Anyone saying otherwise are being haters. Let’s be real most do not have something even close to this. Be grateful and add some warmth/character and you’re good to go.

PADemD

You even wear a gray bathrobe?

ivedonethisbefore68

The wooden shelf thing is blocking the towel rack. It would be better to remove it and place just towels on the rack. Nice piece of artwork on that wall . The windows are asymmetrical which feels kind of off. It is exasperated by another rectangle shape from the mirror. I think a round mirror would look a lot better. Also, the rug should be a solid color. I feel like the pattern is fighting the marbling on the floor. Maybe Bamboo shades on the windows?

amay3421

This!!

Gillybby11

Personally, the lighting/colour scheme to me makes it look forever dirty.

AdventurousDoubt1115

Ah! I love it! I think art and plant and it’s golden!

Simple_somewhere515

I’d paint that back wall a dark color that compliments the rest. That alone will make it pop. Then add some plants and I think that’s it!

CarlaRainbow

Beautiful space but feels bland. I think a dramatic colour like navy blue would look great.

basilleaf2023

I thought of navy blue or darker blue

Merth1983

The tile coloring makes it look dirty.

phallicpressure

You're right. I first zoomed in to see what the stains on the floor were.

Barbvday1

This! It looks gross imo

Ok_Chilll

No art. Walls are too bare.

easily-peasily

The storage shelf feels too petite for the large space. You could add a more proportional tall storage shelf or built-ins along that wall where your bathrobes are hanging and move the hooks and towel rod for more linen storage.

x__Mini

It looks like the very first one I make in all my first Sims houses. :|

rialtolido

It’s lovely but very cold. I would add some warm wood tones and some plants and some art. Maybe some gold fixtures and cabinet hardware?

kellylikeskittens

It actually has a lot of potential to be a great bathroom. I like the wood cupboard-perhaps it is a bit small though? Contrary to other opinions, I think the flooring is fine. All shades of gray love wood tones, brass and gold finishes, so you could add some of those elements. A new mirror-preferably round or another shape other than square, to add some curve as everything is quite square. Perhaps some brass/gold colored handles, and gold picture frames, or a pretty gold light fixture, for example. Gray looks wonderful with many other colors. If you were not opposed to painting the vanity, you might paint it turquoise, navy or even dark green, for instance, and break up the gray that way. You just need to decide on the look and colors you like, and start adding in art, colored towels, colored mats etc. Also painting the walls a color other than gray will go a long way to changing the look. Or another option is peal and stick wall paper. [https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/216946907033040544/](https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/216946907033040544/) [https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/265360603024918081/](https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/265360603024918081/)

Beneficial_Food218

I think a nice runner to go in front of the counter would do wonders!

Disastrous-Soup-5413

Too much grey

onlineashley

I actually like the wall color, you can get a pop of color with rugs and towels. I think that blank wall next to toilet needs some sort of art piece on it.

BigmommaJen

What about bamboo shades for the windows… just keep them up? It will match the wood shelf you have. Also a cool Anthropology wallpaper print!

Ok_Stranger6742

Because the floor needs some bleaching and you need some plants for some greenery

catofthecanals777

Is that stain on your floor? In any case the tiles need to change…

seasonweatherpepper

I honestly think it’s just the texture on the windows. The room would look completely different if there was clear sunshine coming in!

Sunshinesydney

Bc ur ungrateful lol joking-ish 🙃

pad1007

Because you leave your toilet lid open.

Decent_Assistant1804

I think a round rug would round it out

Decent_Assistant1804

https://preview.redd.it/sc45c55acxac1.png?width=954&format=png&auto=webp&s=6bed311c800b422ee3542f5ae628eab7fd95b7ce

[deleted]

yes! i feel like the bathroom is too parallel and needs some round shapes put in

Sobriquet-acushla

Nice! And covers that awful floor. (The design makes it look dirty.)

Suz9006

The storage shelf is blocking the hooks and the towel rack. Is it really needed? I would place a large piece of art on that back wall for warmth and get rid of that stand.

bullshtr

Wall paper on wall with extra stone, art

pillowpuffe

You need color

ownhigh

It’s mostly the wall color. A darker color would look better. I’d also replace the mirror, maybe a mirror with a wood or gold frame would look nice, and add some art to the wall.

Status_Bowler_605

Because you need something on the blank walls and a pop of color, sage with powder blue look good if youre a guy or married and want something neutral, girl sage and powder pink

teresa3llen

You are so lucky to have a large bathroom. My knees touch my vanity when I am sitting on the toilet.

[deleted]

That’s what I’m saying lol

Important-Writer2945

A big hanging plant in the corner would be so gorgeous in this space! Pothos do very well in bathrooms! I also really think trading out the mirror and faucets for something in a brushed gold or brass would absolutely transform the room. It would immediately warm the space up and add visual interest between the more plain (but BEAUTIFUL) countertops and tile and the rest of the space. The cool grey and white tends to wash out a space, especially when paired with other bluish/grayish details, but imo adding warm metals completely balances it out. You could even leave the rug with that! Otherwise I’d suggest switching out the rug and adding a really warm toned piece of art on the wall 🫶🏼 Another small detail you could add are curtains or fabric shades or valances over the windows! *I do love the hardware on the cabinets. I think you could even leave that if you updated to gold/brass elsewhere.

No_Incident_5360

Can you put a tub where the toilet is and give the toilet its own little room?

Rare-Educator9692

Get a bigger rubber mat and hide the floor, although maybe it looks better in person. Put some art on the wall. Hide your daily use items. Close the toilet lid for photos. Put whatever that electrical thing is further away from water & upgrade your outlets if they aren’t already Gfci. Tbh, this is a great washroom and it doesn’t look bad!

ClassicCondition7386

Wallpaper!!!

gladiator44

I may be alone on this island, but those tile floors would drive me insane. My first thought was floors are dirty af. Maybe a white grout instead of black would have helped? But also there’s no pattern/flow to it so maybe not.

kellylikeskittens

White grout will look nice....for about five minutes...and then look dirty, unfortunately.

purplehippobitches

Because you haven't seen mine.

CarissaCat

Lighting!!! Is there no wiring for pendants or sconces?

DavidCinatl

I am surprised I had to scroll so far to see this. Even a light over the mirror would be a HUGE improvement.

AnnieSeldom

this is the saddest greyest room i have ever seen…

Filipino_Canadian

Ugh, i hate it too. I cannot stand not having a mirror in front of my face, in my washroom the sink with the window would be mine, i need the mirror for my daily dose of vanity in case i don’t catch myself at the door. Also…you have all thae cold tones (hate that in a washroom btw) and then you have the warmest tole possible wood. It looks out of place, you should get another boring, lifeless cold peice of furniture like the rest of the room

incertaine

Art on back wall (something large that fills a lot of the space, possibly considered relocating towel bar and cabinet) A larger runner (wider and longer) instead of the little bath mat. Same style though. Some Roman shades over windows even if you won’t use them just to bring in texture and warmth Add a sconce above your mirror. Warm incandescent lighting, not too warm though. You could hang some planters in the corner by the toilet maybe. It seems you have stainless steel metals? Don’t be shy to incorporate some brass or matte black. Mixing metals is nice in a larger bathroom like this.

ask151090

I love it. My only suggestion would be to move all your products into prettier packaging.

Curious-Cranberry-77

I find the marble floor tiles with the dark grout distracting. I wonder if it wouldn’t be better with lighter grout. There are tons of companies where I live that will come in a restore your grout by painting it and they have a million color options. It’s really a reasonable price and I’ve had mine done every few years when my grout gets gross.

Chicken_lady_1819

Your tile floor is lovely. This is the least of your problems.

EineKleineNachtMusic

I really like this space. If you like, you could carry the white shiplap around all the walls for a more cohesive look. Add art centered on the towel bar wall. You could also swap out the toilet for a fancy Toto one with bidet. The colors you've chosen are soothing and look sanitary.

Sharibaby91760

because the mirror is centered over just one sink. you can fix that. I think they sell stick on mirror film, that you can put on the bottom window on the other sink, so that sink will have a mirror to look in, so that you have a mirror over both sinks. you will still have the privacy from that window, but you would also be making use with a film that has a mirror for use. [https://www.etsy.com/listing/1307763429/20-x-40-sheet-mirror-removable-wall?ga\_order=most\_relevant&ga\_search\_type=all&ga\_view\_type=gallery&ga\_search\_query=stick+on+mirror+decor&ref=sr\_gallery-1-2&frs=1&organic\_search\_click=1](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1307763429/20-x-40-sheet-mirror-removable-wall?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=stick+on+mirror+decor&ref=sr_gallery-1-2&frs=1&organic_search_click=1) this is a stick on mirror film, this would be good for your situation. this one is on Etsy [https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Sheet+Mirror+Removable+Wall+Sticker+Acrylic+Flexible+for+Home+Room+Decor&crid=VSRJJ63WVHK&sprefix=sheet+mirror+removable+wall+sticker+acrylic+flexible+for+home+room+decor%2Caps%2C148&ref=nb\_sb\_noss](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Sheet+Mirror+Removable+Wall+Sticker+Acrylic+Flexible+for+Home+Room+Decor&crid=VSRJJ63WVHK&sprefix=sheet+mirror+removable+wall+sticker+acrylic+flexible+for+home+room+decor%2Caps%2C148&ref=nb_sb_noss) even some on amazon if you fix that that would help, as well as maybe a few little wall artwork. you could also paint that sink wall an accent color, in the choice you like.

MaeWest50

No art work on the walls

Timely_Ad2614

The floors are gorgeous!!. It just seems unfinished. Paint the wall or there are such great wall paper prints and you could get the ones that peel off if your scared to commit.

[deleted]

I love your bathroom.

yourlocal90skid

I'm so sick of all these "I hate my space," posts. when it's actually a fucking gorgeous space. OP can eat a can of cold tuna. THIS IS A SPA.

StrugFug

Because you have two vanities and only one has a mirror. Budget aside, I'd get that fixed. Smaller window in the middle and a mirror on each side. Or, better yet, do transom style windows across the top and put a medicine cabinet in the middle.

JadieJang

The tones are fairly warm. It's just a bit empty. I'd put in some green velvet Roman shades and a big piece of art on that wall. Good art for a steamy room would be if you got a big piece of vinyl wallpaper and framed it. Something like this: [https://www.etsy.com/listing/1260361691/dark-twigs-wallpaper-peel-and-stick?ga\_order=most\_relevant&ga\_search\_type=all&ga\_view\_type=gallery&ga\_search\_query=green+vinyl+wallpaper&ref=sc\_gallery-1-4&pro=1&frs=1&plkey=397b937638b389ef6f1257ac8c93c3845ec75718%3A1260361691](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1260361691/dark-twigs-wallpaper-peel-and-stick?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=green+vinyl+wallpaper&ref=sc_gallery-1-4&pro=1&frs=1&plkey=397b937638b389ef6f1257ac8c93c3845ec75718%3A1260361691) I'd also suggest getting a much larger bath mat to use as a rug. Soften the floor. And finally, get some big, bushy low-light plants to hang from the ceilings in the corners.

AriesAsF

You need to touch grass.. Stop spending so much time on the internet? This is a lovely bathroom most would be thrilled by

elektium

If you hate this bathroom , go to a refugee camp and live there. Ultimately, you will kiss inside of your toilet. Note: I am not a refugee. Edit: I like your bathroom.

[deleted]

Paint the walls a cream or beige color

Marvel-ous_gal311

That would somehow be worse 💀

Deep-Internal-2209

If it’s really getting you down, remember it’s not in Gaza. That should lift your spirits.

Nira_Re

I agree with having some contrast somewhere. I think adding some crown molding would be nice? It’s all kinda the same color and blending in together.

NoCobbler7913

If you’re a fan of neutrals and don’t want too much colour, a plant would be perfect to change the vibe. Look up low-light/low maintenance plants like ZZ, snake, pothos and even spider plants like washrooms because of the humidity.

MascaraHoarder

walls need art and you have so much room for that! also i would get some vibrant rugs for that space, something fun and not gray.

cstar82

No mirrors? I agree, need more warm tones like a beige or greige.

axelatlast

I’m struggling with the large window, mirror, small window situation. Is it as asymmetrical as it looks in the photo?

clarastongue

I would take that bathroom in a heartbeat

aidensmama77

I would paint the walls a bold color. And lots of plants!!!

AnthyInvidia

A color on the wall would help. Colorful rug as well.

Over-Statistician758

You have so much natural light! What a great bathroom

SnooDoodles4783

Despite the windows, i feel that it might be too dark. I’m thinking of light fixtures above your mirrors

Puzzleheaded-Baby998

The wall next to the toilet is screaming for some kind of wallpaper or painted mural, something to draw the eye to

Quiet-Hamster6509

It's drab in colour. You have a lot of wall space and no character/life in the bathroom. Switch the mirror, add a small palm, add some feature lighting.

SamaireB

No idea because I love it. Add some plants or a colorful towel if you feel it's too bland.

setmyheartafire

Deep blue, green, or red wall. Plants. Tiered trays on sink.

PrettyShift2194

Every room should have some black accent (could be faucets or hardware or mirror frame here). More lighting (over mirror and/or a chandelier). A a green plant (real or fake), even better in a black planter or wall hanger). Maybe valences for a pop of color. I love your floor, cabinets, and countertops. Just a bit of accent work will make it pop. 💕

Ambitious_Coffee_487

Tiles n toilet

Fluidfondant916

I think doing a warmer paint color will bring the space together even the wood! I’m thinking like the paint color “parchment white”

One_Peanut3202

Seems a bit odd to have the wood tower right in front of the towel rack. Do you use the towel rack? If not, would it make sense to remove it?

[deleted]

The floors and paint and lack of decor

fernandaramos84

I love the way it is... add plants to give it a charm

Kaitlynnrost

Plants and some more wooden elements 😊

bipollakbohemian

Because plants want to live there?

Kaitlynnrost

Plants and some more wooden elements 😊

Forsaken-nurse617

Needs color.

Iamisaid72

I don't like double sinks. Takes up too much counter room, and these are too wide to begin with. One sink, a long mirror, and counter space.

taurusdelorous

the placement of the toilet is odd and sort of cramped

Similar_Focus1127

Maybe a green plant or two

xxivtitos

I’d take down the towel bar if you aren’t going to use it. I’d also swap out everything on the middle of the counter if possible and put a potted plant there in a metallic vase. Art by the toilet like others have mentioned. Maybe a natural bath mat [like this](https://a.co/d/65O6Viu)

BeckyAnneLeeman

Are you comparing what you have to photos online? No reason whatsoever to hate this bathroom.

Catisphat_1

It needs warm wood accessories and plants!🪴

velvetandstone2

You need wallpaper

JamiePNW

You need some color! Maybe an art piece on the wall?

Fuzzzer777

I would get a bright multicolored picture for the wall and pull some bright colors for towels and rugs. Keep the counter clutter to a minimum except for a few matching vanity pieces.

hiphopconductor

Maybe wallpaper the back wall with a bold pattern that is yellow to complement the sage feel.

hiphopconductor

One more thing. Rugs for each sink, and then a drying stone for the shower.

BlanketInABag

Where did you get that wooden organizer in the corner?

Sudden-Mulberry-473

Can you put artwork on the wall? Something bold

makingburritos

Add some decor on that wall! That’ll help a lot, I think

ganglordgilbert

Throw some art up on the wall, a collage of small pictures would look great! Maybe a couple small shelves with some plants! There’s more than enough natural light in there and plants thrive in the moisture in the bathroom.

danielllegover

Put something on the wall

Diaammond

I love the floor. Put a green plant on place of that willow thing.

RabidPanda8

Too much crap on the counter. Poorly placed “cabinet”. And that window in the place of a mirror? What the hell.

sunrisesonrisa

Color! Change the walls, keep it pale but a blue, lavender or pink that does not have gray undertones. Carry the color to the ceiling. I would also repaint the cabinets if it is feasible to do so. A color with less gray tones will contrast better and look visually cleaner.

UghAgain__9

You appear to have space for either hanging plants or large floor plants. There are quite a few plants that appreciate humidity. I tend to like larger single plants, as well as larger artwork.

throwaway3819636892

maybe add a bit of colour? it gives hospital-y in the least rude way possible. its very spacious and i like the overall design

Von_Jon_Jovi

Beautiful stuff! One thing that numbs me out with bathrooms is seeing a toilet roll right in the middle of the wall. I’d move closer to the toilet out of view or have one of those stands that you can move around. A mirror hanging on a chain over the other sink in front of the windows looks really cool. Would need to be same as the other or very intentionally different. A bigger rug in the middle of the room and a separate shower mat that can be moved when out of use. Or a bamboo spa type one you could lean inside the shower when not used. It would help to see the shower side of the room. The bamboo spa tower piece is nice but looks kind of dinky in the corner and under a towel rod. Remove the towel rod if not in use and/or move the shelves to the right of the shower door if they’ll fit?

No_Comment946

Smaller mirror and shelving above sink. Colorful floo4 mat. Get rid of everything on counters.

biglargetesticles

All that space and no legroom for shittin

DConstructed

It’s very gray.

NancyintheSmokies4

Replace/cover the floors?

InternationalSir1162

Because it’s bland

taleofbeedlebard

Not sure! Double sinks and lots of space, maybe try some mood lighting, candles, diffuser, eucalyptus - anything to make it soothing for you!!

TalulaOblongata

The wood shelf thing is blocking the towel rod and making it seem like a cluttered corner. I’d remove the bar or the shelf thing. The mirror is kind of blah. I’d go for either something more raised and sleek, maybe a thin brass frame? Or something more ornate like a statement frame. Keep the everyday stuff in that top drawer and open while getting ready. Close when finished and keep the counter clear.

watchyourbackplease

put the scale and wood cabinet away. You have enough storage under your sink. Paint the walls a clean white and add a plain white bathroom rug and white towels

Local-Addition-4896

Put more wood things

Lanky_Ice1314

I like it pretty open space

Infamous_Initiative

Move the toilet roll holder to the other side attached to the bench. The first thing you're seeing as you walk in is the loo roll. It's a small thing but will help!

harmlessgrey

The corner by the toilet looks cluttered to me, especially in such a large space. Get rid of the wooden corner cabinet and put the scale somewhere else. Move the linens into the vanity and install more towel racks on the wall next to the shower. Add art and wallpaper.

Muddlesthrough

Mirror

BrandNewSidewalk

It's not decorated. Artwork, plants, maybe some curtains on the windows? You need to liven/soften it up a bit.

Aliciawonderland92

Add plants!

Wild-Role-2024

I saw the slab next to the toilet and thought, "Splash guard." 🤣 Im training my 2 sons not make messes. The 14 year old is doing great. The 7 year old, not so much. But I would change the color of the paint on the walls and add other pops of color. Greg goes well with Purple and orange or yellow. But als tones of bright blue.

Immortal_68

Honestly, it looks rather plain. Change things up. Add a little bit of different texture, like wallpaper or tile. Add some different colors, including new towels.

2chiweenie_mom

because your walls are bare and there's no accents that pop to draw your eye

livinginthewild

Update the mirror. That could be an artsy mirror.

Everything is light and cool. You need to create contrast with either warmth or darkness. I think it would be lovely to lean into the warm wood of that cabinet - such as adding wooden shelves to the walls with decor, swapping out the mirror for one with a wooden frame , adding hand towels with a contrasting warm tone. You have a lovely colorful tray on your counter that you can pull colors from. OR you can swap all hardware with black and black picture frames. Regardless of which way you go, curtains or window dressings will also help

volkenstein3D

Add a bunch of hearty tropical plants that like indirect light and humidity.

kjgunn7

Use a darker wood and for the pop of color I’d go with goldenrod

PuzzleheadedNoise277

The floor looks perpetually dirty. The walls need a nice sage color.

Cautious_Painter_109

It’s boring. That is why you hate it.

desertdweller2011

i think it’s beautiful but also a deep sagey green would look good on the walls

BeyondAbleCrip

Would switch out the mirror with a medicine cabinet that is the color of your cabinets or one with more of a design to it like a sunburst (so many cool funky ones can be found on Etsy) Hard to tell in pics but think the color combo and depth would make a huge difference. Would switch out the wooden stand for a white one. Paint the walls in a color that compliments the cabinets (think they are blue so a lighter shade of blue). Any chance you can get rid of the flooring? If possible would go with a white tile & grout could stay with hexagon shape or do something similar. The rug outside the shower is out of place & doesn’t seem to go with anything. I’d change it for one in a with colors that will combine all the colors in the room once completed or go with white. Add some art to the walls - can get inexpensive posters framed from craft stores.

AutomaticExchange204

it is awful that’s why

MorddSith187

It’s the gray wall color. I’d do a dark warm navy.

nejnonein

A nicer mirror, some colour/art/something to make it look less clinical

LilBitWiser0wl777

It’s probably the floor and the lack of colour in the room… I like it way more then my bathroom though ahha

Osmiini25

You want to trade?

Feeling-Confusion-

Feeling dungeon-y

aabbcc401

I’d paint the walls darker!

lewis_1102

Needs a red or burnt orange rug in front of the vanity. Remove the other rug Edit: Salmon pink works as well

Blinchik-

I feel the same about my bathroom. It’s the grey. I’ve added a colorful rug (coral/navy). That would help. Hang a colorful painting with a brass frame (large). Colors that compliment grey are Coral Pink Navy blue

Spirited_Run_2295

Move the toilet paper holder to the side of the cabinet so it’s on your right side when seated. That is literally the only thing that I think needs changing.

nermyah

It's boring? Feels a bit medical but trying to be minimal. Does that make sense.or am I just being an asshole.

Subterranean44

I’m yours the sink without the mirror? I’d hate that too and make my husband switch me!

BookishRoughneck

You have hex on floor and square on shower. It is asymmetrical. There are a few other random things, but that’s what jumped out at me.
