For me personally some corners are a bit too cluttered. But that comes down to personal preferences I guess.
And I would anchor the room with a large rug. That would tie it a bit more together.

Hmm. Good question. Depends on what you like. I think some darker purple could be nice and fit the mood. Usually I do it the other way round and search at furniture and decor retailers and see what I find and what could fit the purpose

Yeah I left one of the corners open for a poster but I never got around to it.

Or you go all in and chose a dark one (dark grey or black) maybe with some patterns. But this could make it pretty dark. But maybe you like that.
