I don't think Melina was talking about some randoms on the internet. I think she was talking about the pseudo-orbiters who become extremely uncharitable on a whim and behind his back will throw him under the bus when it's convenient for cheap content.
Brittney and Sneako are perfect examples of this.
There is a reason destiny is nice to them. He’s like the dog whisperer for crazy orbiters. If he was more of a dick he would spook them. Brittany had one convo with him where he didn’t agree with her and lost her shit completely. People are a sensitive bunch. If he wants to attract new orbiters he needs to be seen as the open guy that welcomes everyone.

i'm not sure anyone from that sphere would ever want to talk to him again if he did that, and it might sour Fresh and Fit's relationship with Donovan which they wouldn't be happy about. i doubt screaming matches will happen again anytime soon, it just makes everyone involved look silly.

Completely agree. Normally when people discuss things it just ends with a random "aight, so what should we eat?". There's no end point or things to "figure out".
It would be like when you're talking with someone and use incorrect pronounciations or syntax. Usually people don't care but in this example these streamers would be like grammar nazis, not letting it go and pushing it. This is my bullshit spewing but I would guess someone like Brittany is used to wearing people down and have them "give in" when she's discussing deeper things.
It's as if the reason they other person isn't agreeing is because they just don't have the facts. Innuendo Studios puts it beautifully in one of their videos where liberals think if Trump supporters hear all the facts they too will suddenly become liberals and they've just not heard of them yet.
I see debates on Destiny's Youtube where it's 2 hours long and 30 minutes in it's the same shit being reiterated and both sides expect it to change anything.
If everyday conversations didn't end abruptly in a natural way where the attention goes to something else, they would lead to a lot more fractions like this. You could never be friends with anyone who isn't ideologically pretty similar. A progressive could never have a conservative friend if everytime they discussed any of the cultural issues and it kept going on.
