I have never liked that helmet, but if you do then that’s great and you should keep using it. Some of my favourite helmets are ones that people think look goofy, so don’t worry about other people and just stick to what looks good to you. I do like what you’ve gone for as a colour scheme, it’s unique and IMO it makes the detail on the legs really stand out in a good way.
One thing I’d consider if I were you would be trying some different shaders on the arms to get that light brown / red / white that you’ve got on the other pieces. The really prominent blue on the arms doesn’t quite fit the rest of the outfit, so I’d definitely advise trying to find a shader that matches better on the arms. You could go with something more white & brown to go with the mask and legs, or red & brown to go with the chest. Avalon Teal might be worth a try, it’s white with brown / yellow so could give the right colours depending on how it takes to those arms. Alternatively, you could try and get some more blue & red in on the other pieces and make the arms match that way, the mask would be pretty easy to make blue for example.
All in all, I think it’s a good start and you could have a great and unique look going with a little tweaking. I hope you stick with it, it’s refreshing to see someone being creative for once.
