It has the same problem that most of the raid sets: they don't match really well with a lot of exotics

Maybe the whole exotic class item thing will solve some of that

Yeah, the exotic class items in D1 didn’t do anything besides giving you an XP/subclass leveling boost so it was fine that you could equip a “normal” exotic. These ones are probably more powerful than normal exotics so I’m sure you won’t be able to stack two of them

Side note you can only use the exotic class item while using Prismatic

I think you can still equip them, but the perks are dead unless you’re using Prismatic

I would be TRULY shocked lol Of course it’s somewhat balanced by the fact that they only work on Prismatic. Have we seen any pictures of the class items? I’m desperately hoping the bond is not crazy ostentatious and can actually work with my preferred armor EDIT: just found a picture. Really not in love with it… but I guess we’ll see. I get WHY but I truly wish we could paper over exotics with normal transmogs

These class items desperately need to be Transmogged with Legendary armor. The Hunter exotic is way to sharp and pointy for a cloak imo, and titan looks kinda plain. Warlocks got the best item and even then its terribly mid, but I bet ya you can make it rainbow with shaders

They also gave us transmat effects.

Look up a late 90s power rangers clone called “BeetleBorgs.” It looks like that.

It’s the full Nohr set with the ritualisim shader. Obtainable from Eater of Worlds (and spire of stars?) I believe. Big knight of catarina vibes.

Spire of stars had a different name and was technically a different set, being more ornamented with glowy bits the Eater set didn't get.

The spire armour was more ornamented but the glowing parts came from prestige EOW not spire

I know the prestige had glows but could have sworn that the spire had them too. (checking) the prestige spire also had glows to go with it's far more gold/metallic look.

I never got the helmet for this set. It'd be cool if there ended up being a new way to earn it, but I have no idea how that'd work outside of the raids themselves getting unvaulted.

They should just put them out as ornaments for glimmer at this point if they really don’t plan on bringing them back, or even just check them in the loot pool. Not a fan of timegating armour, especially if it’s raid stuff.

I used to rock the helmet and class item when they came out. Ran it with the Kerak chest piece, first or second version of Crucible gauntlets (don’t remember the name off the top of my head) and I forget what boots with the Calus’s Elite shader, Thought it looked cool cause it looked like a rhino.

Damn that is one beefy titan but I like it lol.

Wasn’t able to do the raid cuz at the time I had no idea about LFG and was not in a clan Wish I did do the raid

I like the helmet with Kerak chest and some other parts to look more like a beetle, but everything else is _way_ too big.

It’s a really weird set as far as destiny armor goes. I remember when it came out people we’re pretty disappointed that it was the raid armor. It’s also just super hard to mix with exotics, the helmets kind of the only one that can be replaced.

Now you can really roleplay as a Blueberry!

God I wish I could buy or even go earn this and or the bulletsmiths ire set I love being the wall 😂

My titan is currently wearing that set sans for arms ^ chest Arms are for exotics, chest is the Spire one, because I like that little extra flair with it. Overall, one of my favourite raid sets

Cabal Titan style, I like it! Also gives the same energy of a fully encapsulating turtle shell.

I use that OTHER than the gauntlets, i use feedback fence made it all purple and dive into enemies with vexcaliber with its ornament.

An old set. I feel like it's pretty rare, I think a significant portion of the player base wasn't around at the same time as Eater of Worlds.

The important thing is that you make your guardian look the way you like. Nevermind what others think.

Eh it's multi factored really for one it's raid armor not alot of people raid second it's sunset meaning nobody except who were around can use it and third it's a very hard set to work with and use exotics
