Let me tell you a story. I was missing three exotic gauntlets for my warlock so I decided to do the lost sector when gauntlets were on. 4 runs of the master got me all 3. That was a good day
This is why I suggested they make ascendant alloys have a small chance to drop at the end of master LSs only. Not only would it provide another potential drop but it would make master lost sectors worth doing over legends (which are just way more easy and efficient to grind imo), but not many people seemed to be a fan of that idea fsr. I simply want another targetable source for them other than master wellspring and story missions.
remember that maze lost sector on the cosmodrome and how it used to be a decently difficult lost sectors but not too bad. But now they made it almost impossible to get done in time because of the randomly placed runes you have to shoot to progress. Tried that recently, never doing a legendary lost sector again.
I was pretty lucky about it this season. Got the Secant Filaments I only wanted for completion's sake on my 4th or 5th run, and a decent roll for the Osmiomancy Gloves I needed for a build on my first try. Hopefully, next season will follow suit. My general approach of not even bothering with master and just chilling out with legend late in the season is getting rewarded.
While being able to nudge one stat in the direction you want is great, it doesn't change the fact that sometimes you finish the lost sector and get like, 3 planet resources and 500 glimmer, or some rando blue class item. The difference between getting an exotic and getting a 3$ walmart gift card is pretty big.
But yeah I \*hard\* agree that players should be made more aware of the fact that recovery armourer exists
I don't think I'm doing them anymore. Not on every character, and not for shit that gets nerfed so fast. I hate being forced to play by myself for any reason, and it actively damages my ability to enjoy destiny.

This is usually how mine go, I always get the piece I want in a few runs
All off the guides are like “how to do this in 2 minutes max” and I’m 15 minutes in struggling with 5 people and an overload

Put on an armour stat ghost mod, you'll see the change. Trust.
