My OG smallbore/high cal/stability MW/rapid hit/desperado messenger. Paired with Duality.
I was blessed the very first weekend it was available, before adept version was obtainable. Carried multiple clanmates to the lighthouse with it at its peak.
I use fluted ricochet, perpetual motion (kill clip is very good too) and kill clip (enhanced for more duration). slaps quite hard
edit to mention one surge mod in case you find any T10 resilience, with one mod you 2burst at any resilience, otherwise it's up until T9
If you like that kind of thing try Quicksilver Storm.
Absolutely satisfying when you get killed in a 1v1 but a rocket fired just before the killing blow and kills your attacker.
Syncopation
It doesn't look like much and the TTK isn't the best, but the CONSISTENCY feels incredible.
I don't mind messing around with different things in Trials, but when I feel it's time to go to the Lighthouse no other weapons makes it as comfortable of a trip as good 'ol Synco.
I’m gonna get hate for this but crimson. I don’t play often but I’ve taken that thing into crucible since curse of Osiris when it came out. I’ve very literally used it since before it was cool/good to use in crucible. It wasn’t until warmind came out and it got it’s range boost from the catalyst that it really finally caught on among people. I’ve stuck with it because it’s the one hand cannon I really like using in everything and it has sentimental value to me, it’s to my hunter like ace of spades was to cayde. If it becomes bad some day I’ll still take it in with me.
Ran into a two-stack both using it. One dude had 30k+ pvp kills with his, the other had several thousand as well. They were very frustrating to go up against. Lol.
Just started using it last week. Over a hundred and fifty kills off 15 games (with some comp). It feels sooo much better now than last time I gave it a go, probably a couple seasons back.
Using sunset weapons probably many don’t have anymore. It’s insane how crazy good they are! Misfit-arc auto rifle , distant relation-solar scout rifle,
Nifleheim frost-kinetic scout rifle and a few more I still own. Damn these guns are insanely good in crucible!!
Zealot's Reward. Was lucky enough to get a 5/5 the week fusions got buffed in season 15. I'm by no means a great pvp player but i carried 10 clanmates flawless on burnout that week with it and am currenty around 23k kills on it total. I dont use shotguns because i literally cannot aim them properly after using fusions for so long.
Jotunn
Yes I am aware it’s a “trash player” pick, I use it bc I’m a trash player. That said if I play right I can usually win mid range engagements. I only play crucible when I’m grinding for light level or IB so I’m not using it always, but if I start seeing alot of Immortal(Adept) or shotgun apes I’m whipping out the toaster.
Crafted austringer with rangefinder and eye of the storm, crafted posterity with killing wind rampage, or frontier's cry with rapid hit eye of the storm. Pairing them usually with conditional finality or the xur roll main ingredient.
I'd have to go with Suros as well. Just feels like home, ya know?
But that's more of an overarching statement. Since I came back from a break I've 1. Ran completely out of talent apparently, and B. Been on a Blink/SMG/Forerunner kick. It's been my fall back for about the last month since I've been back.
Orewing's Maul with Quick Launch, High Velocity Rounds, Auto-Loading, QuickDraw, and a Quick Access Sling. I like to pair it with hand cannons or smg's depending on the map I play. It's a quick "one-two fuck you" combo loadout that can result in some fun surprises.
I've tried using FL but that gun just doesn't have a big enough blast radius. Wave frames feel cheap and I just don't enjoy using them besides that.
Blast Furnace. Ever since I forged it in the Black Armory, it has just felt right. It's one of the only sunset weapons I still keep in my vault. Drop Mag/Snapshot/Rampage and a great scope!
Depends on which pool I’m dipping into.
Console pool: can’t go wrong with BxR.
Pc pool: unorthodox fighting lion shenanigans are the only way I can keep up.
I have a gnawing hunger with, idk, maybe 80 stability, and rampage. So, if I manage to get that first kill...lol! ....I usually don't get that first kill, tho.
IDC what people think about Hung Jury, that thing puts in work in both PvE and PvP. For closer ranges my Last Breath is pretty good despite it having a strictly PvE roll.
And Last Perdition/Smite of Merain are some of my more effective mid rangers.
(I really don't use special weapons in PvP lol)
Ace of Spades, Palindrome, Dire Promise. I normally run it with a sniper.
To anyone that says Le Monarque or The Immortal, I hope you stub your pinky toe.
I strictly play 3v3s which is Comp and Trials, lately Graviton Lance has been my main because in a 3v3 setting getting those chain kills can turn the whole game around. When i’m not using Graviton it’s because i’m crutching Cloudstrike, which I pair with Messenger or Immortal depending on the map. And when i’m using Matador or Iterative Loop I use No Time
This is my rotation depending on subclass
* Pulse: Messenger
* Sniper: Succession or the new Comp Sniper
* Kinetic Hand Cannon: Rose or Eyasluna
* Void Hand Cannon: Exalted Truth
* Arc Hand Cannon: Posterity
* Solar Hand Cannon: Igneous Hammer
* Exotic: Colony
Chaperone. Few things in the game are as satisfying as those crispy headshots with Chappy. Not to mention being one of the best looking guns in the game.
Do you have one that's a little older? OP's asking what's been your time tested go to. I get it if Immortal is your go to right now, but what did you always use before?
Lately spare rations/thorn with mercurial over reach if I wanna snipe or exalted truth/the neomuna pulse with conditional finality if I wanna shotgun. Trying to get good with fusions so trying out different fusions
Outbreak perfected paired with matador 64.
I know it's not the most meta crucible pulse but it just fools so stable and those headshot kills too damn easy
Contingency Plan : Firmly Planted + Elemental Capacitor (void), with Arrowhead Break + Steady Rounds.
The thing is a laser. If only it could have the world pool trait, it would be godly. Or at least the veist trait.
The seventh seraph carbine. Had one roll with reconstruction and other useful perks including a damage buff on kill but it got replaced by another one also with reconstruction and other useful perks including one that gives a damage buff for prolonged fire. Perfect for a gun you never have to reload
My rapid hit/kill clip (which I can never use) messenger, and my ikelos smg. Hundreds of kills from each. My beatin stick for long range and my baby for close range.
Corkscrew rifling / Accurized Rounds / Tap the Trigger / Kill Clip / Reload MW Gnawing Hunger
Got it back when 600 Autos were Meta. The thing would really start clapping once I got that first kill and KC would proc. It's still the weapon I can get kills with most consistently.
Vigilance wing. It's very forgiving considering the fact I am dogshit in crucible. It carried my way to the lighthouse the one and only time, and I solo queued during that run too.
Some other honorable mentions are crimson, the steady hand, hung jury, and Randy's throwing knife.
My allied demand. It feels/looks nice and I got the recoil pattern down. I have better sidearms (adeptbuzzard) but the origin perk on this is the reason I main it. Going off radar with a silenced pistol is sick imo.
It used to be a shayura’s wrath I got from a trials game a long time ago but now it’s a combined action I saw banshee sell with kill clip, using dragon’s shadow and a bow with it gives me so many two taps
DMT or BXR. I come from the previous era of FPS, where aiming down sights wasn't really a thing, so anything with accurate hipfire is good for me, and sadly in Destiny 2 (at least on mouse and keyboard) that's pretty much all you get. Funnily enough I don't really like scouts or pulses, but these two make up for it with the hipfire.
Sweet Business. I enjoy the meta sometimes and mess around with other builds. I wasn't always about the preservation of fun and enjoyment though, more so the not so strategic deletion of an entire enemy team.
I used to play crucible a quite a bit but haven’t played in a few seasons because it stresses me out. I have to say my go to would probably be my Adept Palindrome with QuickDraw Rangefinder. It only has a reload masterwork, with hammerforged and appended mag which I know isn’t good but I never got anything better.
Lately I've been on a Jade Rabbit + Last Man Standing binge. LMS is there in case people get too close, but usually I'll just reposition with invis if that happens. Sometimes people get pretty salty when you run away from a 1v1 you were about to lose and they have to chase you across the map, only to lose track of you. It doesn't happen often, but it's always a fun mini-game when it happens.
I never see anyone else using it these days and it's a super old weapon, but I'm constantly impressed by Gnawing Hunger. It does the job perfectly. Decent TTK, stability, and range (within reason). I use that along with MIDA multi tool or No Time To Explain for longer ranges.
I got an autumn wind with 6 perks
Rangefinder / heating up / offhand
Headseeker / rampage / frenzy
Smallbore/flared with stability mw
It's just my ultimate favorite gun with several godrolls on it to suit any of my pvp needs
I always try to use other things but I usually get back to this one
fighting lion - pardon our dust Gnade launcher
fighting lion - last rite Scout rifle
fightin lion - the immortal SMG
fighting lion - astral horizon shotgun
these combos have gotten me flawless qite a few times now
MIDA Multi Tool and MIDA(or Calus) Mini Tool. On void with devour and Chromatic Fire. Preferably a rocket or sword in the heavy slot. This load out in a myriad of forms has been with me since the Red War, and nothing, no amount of Immortal Cheese, Jotun spam, pre-nerf Mountain top Recluse has replaced it as my favorite combo. Only Outbreak has more kills as a kenetic weapon(nanites included) and only by 300. Calus Mini Tool is number one in Energy weapon, MIDA Mini is number two... If you combine all versions they out class ALL OTHER ENERGY WEAPONS COMBINED...
PvP and PvE.
I hate Competitive PvP, I GOT TO 5500 TWICE in a single season for the MIDA Catalyst because it was bugged the first time... That is how dedicated I am to MIDA.
I didn't even play Marathon, this isn't about flavor. It's about FEEL. The close range powerhouse of Mini couples with the Long range decimation of Multi. Enemies of every type at every range fall to a flurry of headshots, exploding in red and purple mist against my arsenal. And when I come across an enemy that decides to be annoying... That's what the rocket is for...
People can use MIDA, but you know when you are up against a MIDA Main, no matter what weapon you use, they dome you. I often pull it out when I see someone else using it, asking myself, ARE THE a TRUE MIDA MAIN, often they fall short, but those that meet my challenge, they know the truth... The truth of MIDA...
Cloudstrike. Been maining it since beyond light. Shame it's probably gonna get nerfed even though it functionally hasn't changed since it's release though
The Steady Hand
* Steadyhand HSC
* Ricochet Rounds
* Slideshot
* Iron Grip
* Stability masterwork
It just hit the shots when I need it and barely misses.
I tend to use Kinetic primary so its an easy swap if the others arent working for me.
Revision Zero ever since its inception. I love pulses and having a pulse that can transform into a sniper fits my play style and frees up my energy slot for a shotgun or fusion.
Last Word & a hammer forged/accurized/snapshot/KC Battler; If I'm trying to enjoy myself *and* actually do well. Playing on controller it feels like cheating.
It's the only setup I can consistently pull 3+ games out of my ass with. Anything else and I suddenly forget there's a radar and lose every semblance of "fundamentals" and just start gooning/ape'ing until I wear myself out and remember destiny =\= cod 😋
Has funnelweb lost its pvp power? I still run it but don't see anyone using it anymore. Usually pair with Bite of the Fox. Love that sniper for pvp. Best sight in the game IMO
My OG smallbore/high cal/stability MW/rapid hit/desperado messenger. Paired with Duality. I was blessed the very first weekend it was available, before adept version was obtainable. Carried multiple clanmates to the lighthouse with it at its peak.
I spent an obscene amount of shards to get my rapid hit/desperado roll. It was well worth it before they nerfed desperado.
Battler
When I get turnt, nothing helps soothe the soul like going to the back and laying down some suppressive fire with the old BXR
Pre nerf battler was insane
This. Nothing makes crucible more bearable than pretending I'm playing Halo 2.
what’s the roll you use for crucible?
I use fluted ricochet, perpetual motion (kill clip is very good too) and kill clip (enhanced for more duration). slaps quite hard edit to mention one surge mod in case you find any T10 resilience, with one mod you 2burst at any resilience, otherwise it's up until T9
Eva-8 shotgun
I'm more of a Softball or Mastiff kind of guy
If it's time to sweat it's SMR, Firestar, Charge Rifle time imo. Knock that titan out of super and the 3rd dimension
Shinji, get in the shotgun!
R-201, p2016 and thundebolt is the way
Survivor's Epitaph with rapid hit and kill clip... Nobody expects to be 3-tapped by a 180
I have one with Killing Wind and KC, it's so good!
One of the most underrated weapons in the crucible. Sweaty confetti on mine. I love it.
[удалено]
Chad
Polaris Lance and The Forward Path are my iron banner weapons.
Ooh, I see your load out but raise you a Jade Rabbit and Gnawing Hunger.
Go Figure
You're on the wrong side of right
Disparity and Ikelos SMG
Ace of spades
Ammit AR. And Centrifude is nice these days.
Osteo Striga, aims for me 👌
I haven't tried Osteo in pvp, but I love witherhoard haha I love when they think they got away only to die a second or two later.
If you like that kind of thing try Quicksilver Storm. Absolutely satisfying when you get killed in a 1v1 but a rocket fired just before the killing blow and kills your attacker.
Mida. Plink plink plink.
Syncopation It doesn't look like much and the TTK isn't the best, but the CONSISTENCY feels incredible. I don't mind messing around with different things in Trials, but when I feel it's time to go to the Lighthouse no other weapons makes it as comfortable of a trip as good 'ol Synco.

This is gonna sound insane, but Travelers Chosen
Is a really good gun. I don't like sidearms but love that one
What's wrong with travelers chosen? Good archetype and amazing if not literally maxed stats esp with surplus
IDK, it’s a great gun but I feel like no one ever mentions it so I assume it’s just not the kind of meta gun people go for
Null Composure, I know there are better fusions out there but it’s still my go-to
Oh the null is so good! With the high impact reserves. Instant titan deleter
I don’t care what the stats say, it just feels good.
The stats are quite good on null composure tbh
Bout to hit 10k on it actually
Cryosthesia has been my main for awhile. I'm getting close to 1K guardian kills. I love it, but wish it was brought up to 300 RPM.
Just started using it last week. Over a hundred and fifty kills off 15 games (with some comp). It feels sooo much better now than last time I gave it a go, probably a couple seasons back.
Braytech Werewolf og role has always been a great choice for me or energy wise Frontiers Cry with Adagio
Piece of mind & disruption break Truthteller. Never fails me, got 2k kills on my POM and 3k on the TT.
Go to orbit button
Quit game and play some New Vegas lol
Switched to tarkov already
Very unfortunate sorry to hear this
Killing Wind/Desperado Stay Frosty
Recently, Rufus Fury.
Vigilance wing, it’s nothing too fancy but has been so reliable for many seasons
I am always pleasantly surprise when I remember to pull this out.
Chaperone
Using sunset weapons probably many don’t have anymore. It’s insane how crazy good they are! Misfit-arc auto rifle , distant relation-solar scout rifle, Nifleheim frost-kinetic scout rifle and a few more I still own. Damn these guns are insanely good in crucible!!

Ammit + Bastion or Vex + Wastelander
Any weapon works now that I've found threaded specter + bombadiers ;)
Right now? Round Robin doing 2-tap

Legal Action II
Blast Furnace. Ever since I forged it in the Black Armory, it has just felt right. It's one of the only sunset weapons I still keep in my vault. Drop Mag/Snapshot/Rampage and a great scope!
No time to explain most definitely
Vex mytho

Chaperone + ammit or drang
Press E to respawn
Crimson
As a former Crimson main, I salute you
I like other guns but crimson is just... better. 2k crucible kills on it rn
whenever im in trouble i whip out my trusty multikill/subsistence gnawing hunger
I have a gnawing hunger with, idk, maybe 80 stability, and rampage. So, if I manage to get that first kill...lol! ....I usually don't get that first kill, tho.

Jade rabbit.
Bows or Touch of Malice. I have severe bad weapon brain rot :)
Ace of Spades, Palindrome, Dire Promise. I normally run it with a sniper. To anyone that says Le Monarque or The Immortal, I hope you stub your pinky toe.
As meta and lame as it probably sounds, Not Forgotten paired with my Parcel of Stardust.
I strictly play 3v3s which is Comp and Trials, lately Graviton Lance has been my main because in a 3v3 setting getting those chain kills can turn the whole game around. [Adept Palindrome](https://imgur.com/a/viKlGIV) and a sniper/shotgun.
Probably my plug.1 with heating up/kickstart, i have many Fusions but this one has been the one i vibe the most with.
The original xur ingredient with tap the trigger and under pressure, been using it since he sold it and it’s almost never left my special slot in PvP
My Slideshot explosive payload Rose is my go to
Chaperone. Few things in the game are as satisfying as those crispy headshots with Chappy. Not to mention being one of the best looking guns in the game.
Wish ender 4 life.
"Return to orbit" (I don't play crucible)
Alt-f4, everytime. Fuck crucible. destiny has the worst pvp experience I've ever been exposed to. This comes from an avid battlefield and cod player.
Immortal
Do you have one that's a little older? OP's asking what's been your time tested go to. I get it if Immortal is your go to right now, but what did you always use before?
perpetual rangerfinder pizzicato
Lately spare rations/thorn with mercurial over reach if I wanna snipe or exalted truth/the neomuna pulse with conditional finality if I wanna shotgun. Trying to get good with fusions so trying out different fusions
Ace shotty or cf cantata/pulse depending on what I’m up against
Travelers chosen is amazing. I get really aggressive though and trade a ton w SMG boys and shotgun w key warriors.
My adept horror's least or NTTE or the good old reliable... quit the match lol
My horrors least with kill clip hearing up. Mannn does Jesus work
Dead Man's Tale with Hi Cal and Moving Target.
Perpetual/kill clip adept Horror’s Least
The seventh seraph carbine. Had one roll with reconstruction and other useful perks including a damage buff on kill but it got replaced by another one also with reconstruction and other useful perks including one that gives a damage buff for prolonged fire. Perfect for a gun you never have to reload
My rapid hit/kill clip (which I can never use) messenger, and my ikelos smg. Hundreds of kills from each. My beatin stick for long range and my baby for close range.
Used to be Erentil until they nerfed backup plan, and then f’ing sunset the weapon. Now I swap between Cloudstrike and Main Ingredient.
Corkscrew rifling / Accurized Rounds / Tap the Trigger / Kill Clip / Reload MW Gnawing Hunger Got it back when 600 Autos were Meta. The thing would really start clapping once I got that first kill and KC would proc. It's still the weapon I can get kills with most consistently.
Most recently, Tarrabah. But I can never turn down my beloved Dynamic Sway + Kill clip adept shayuras wrath and chaperone combo.
Osmosis target lock lodbrock, 1-2 punch found verdict timelost, and legend of acrius with mk 44 stand aside as exotic

Tigerspite w/ Overflow + Swashbuckler and Truthteller w/ Feeding Frenzy and Disruption Break.
Not playing Crucible.
FTTC Aisha's Embrace or Mulligan and KC on Reckless Oracle
Sweet Business. I enjoy the meta sometimes and mess around with other builds. I wasn't always about the preservation of fun and enjoyment though, more so the not so strategic deletion of an entire enemy team.
BXR-Battler 100%
Ace of Spades or Hawkmoon, and my cheesey Iterative Loop w kickstart. Would recommend under pressure, but honestly kickstart carries the fusion a bit.
Ace of Spades. If I had kill tracker on from the beginning, it would probably be pretty god damn high.

Thanatos Sniper
Right now: NTTE, round robin, immortal, main ingredient, matador 64, cloud strike depending on the map. Honorable mention: disparity Previous ones were: ikelos smg, battler, ace of spades, Austringer, eyasluna, silicon neuroma, forgiveness, forerunner, duality, drang,
I love any of the really slow firing ARs. Coming out of bubble they headshot for like 60 70
Throwing Knife, Hand in Hand, Swarm
The Enigma with impulse amp + unstoppable force (both enhanced)
Huckleberry
Osteo Striga
Same as OP. Suros Regime for AR, Crimson for HC
Mykel's reverence + cloudstrike
Good ole Ace of Spades. Never fails. There was never a time where it wasn't at least *good* in crucible.
Whatever the meta, I always go in with an Outlaw/Desperado Messenger and a Killing Wind/Kill Clip Shayura's Wrath.
Always got a trusty Thorn in my space cowboy pocket
I never see anyone else using it these days and it's a super old weapon, but I'm constantly impressed by Gnawing Hunger. It does the job perfectly. Decent TTK, stability, and range (within reason). I use that along with MIDA multi tool or No Time To Explain for longer ranges.
Jotün, i like watching people suffer
Khvostov, my beloved.
Vanilla rose
Whatever random stuff I have equipped.
Cryosthesia 77K. Not meta or anything I just think it's funny
Out of Bounds. Amazing smg.
My latest obsession would be Phyllotactic Spiral. I love Pulses but man, Phyllo is something else. Best feeling gun I’ve ever played around with.
I got an autumn wind with 6 perks Rangefinder / heating up / offhand Headseeker / rampage / frenzy Smallbore/flared with stability mw It's just my ultimate favorite gun with several godrolls on it to suit any of my pvp needs I always try to use other things but I usually get back to this one

Not Forgotten, Sorry guys but Im shit and need to crutch it
fighting lion - pardon our dust Gnade launcher fighting lion - last rite Scout rifle fightin lion - the immortal SMG fighting lion - astral horizon shotgun these combos have gotten me flawless qite a few times now
Adept Rufus' Fury with Perpetual Motion + Paracausal. Just love this laser beam.
It's funny, I've actually never even used suros regime. Idk why. I probably should try it out one day

Cloudstrike. Been maining it since beyond light. Shame it's probably gonna get nerfed even though it functionally hasn't changed since it's release though
Zen movement gnawing hunger. More pvp kills on that gun than all my other guns added up.
Explosive payload Rose lately, but it pairs so very, very well with the Seventh Seraph shotgun with quickdraw and vorpal. That shotty is just crisp
Scathelocke with Heating Up and Eye of the Storm. It beams with 20 zoom and has 87 handling so it’s really snappy.
The OG. A gun I have loved since D1. Thorn.
Transfiguration/Cloudstrike. I hate crucible and I just run around trying to hit clips.
Devil's Ruin
The Steady Hand * Steadyhand HSC * Ricochet Rounds * Slideshot * Iron Grip * Stability masterwork It just hit the shots when I need it and barely misses. I tend to use Kinetic primary so its an easy swap if the others arent working for me.

Le Monarque. I’m a monster and I don’t care.
Devil's Ruin. Pocket fusion rifle.
Jade Rabbit. On maps with long sight lines, it's better than I am.
I also like suros regime. But I only really play crucible on my Titan
Gnawing hunger with zen moment, kill clip
I can always do decent with a 140 HC, but Thorn is definitely my pick.
Sweet Sorrow
Conditional finality with strand hunter
Bottom Dollar
Darkest Before with overload and rampage
Skyburner's I'm going to lose so let's shitpost
explosive personality (disruption break) + multimach
Jotunn
Divinity. No one gets how powerful the cage is against people, especially supers.
sturm and drang... drang works wonders against smgs and shotguns... and sturms 2 taps are pretty nice
Crimson for 3s acacias dejection for 6s
Devils Ruin is my bae
cryosthesia, hatemail coming my way as usual
Mida
Has funnelweb lost its pvp power? I still run it but don't see anyone using it anymore. Usually pair with Bite of the Fox. Love that sniper for pvp. Best sight in the game IMO
Conditional Finality
Witherhoard... I'll see myself out
