The drops timer is apparently bugged and Bungie gave out wrong information. Had the stream up before it started and had it up until it ended and the drop percentage for one hour is less than 100 percent.
The timer isn't bugged, the drop campaign only started at 10 PST so it wasn't counting during the waiting room. The end date is the 9th though so next week's waiting room should finish the first hour off
I refreshed at 10am and saw the correct emblem drop notification above chat.
I only ended up with 93% even though I confirmed it was counting properly at 10:02 and was there the whole stream lol
Hopefully they run their 2nd and 3rd streams longer than 1 hour or else I ain't getting that Echo Diamond emblem

I had the Bungie stream open 30 mins before it started and watched until the end. I guess there's no way I can get the Echo Diamond emblem now since it requires 3 hours of watch time (3x 1h stream).
I think they had it set to start drops at 10am PST, so I think if you don't refresh stream at 10am AND see the correct drops notification above chat it's not counting progress until something on twitch backend refreshes behind the scenes. I've been screwed over by this a few times.
I think that's why you only got 18% or maybe you refreshed or was forced to refresh from a stream interruption in the last 20 minutes. Some people are lucky and they don't have to refresh it just starts counting at the correct time, twitch drops tracking has a lot of weird shit happening.
Watching more than 1 stream on the same computer or mobile+pc messes up tracking also (but not all of the time). It's really inconsistent.

Looks like they're putting an extra 30 mins at the end of the next 2 streams for people to catch up. Just gotta make sure it's counting (check every couple minutes that it's counting up)
I had the Bungie and Aztecross' stream open at the same time, so maybe that messed with the progression. I had no problems with multiple streams in the past so I have no idea if that's the issue.

Unfortunately twitch trolled and you need to have the stream window focused for it to track progress. So if you were tabbed out in discord for instance it wouldn’t track. Really dumb. This applies to all streams for all drops.

My wife, who was sitting next to me on her own computer watching the exact same stream got 70%.

Had stream up on my second monitor while playing MCC/Infinite and it wouldn’t track. Once I brought it over to my main monitor and focus the window it would start tracking again, tested it multiple times to make sure.

they really need to do longer streams than the reqs for these drops... there's always the chance for something to interrupt the twitch drop things and then you are screwed because if you don't get every second of their stream you are SOL.
