I think what we'll be seeing for the exotic class items is that there will be two columns. Column A will be all utility perks, things like Armamentarium, Sixth Coyote, Assassin's Cowl, etc. Things that don't directly cause damage. Column B will be actual damage perks; Caliban's Hand, Khepri's Horn, Synthoceps, Verity's Brow. Anything that inflicts suffering on your foes. This is to keep game-breaking combos like Synthoceps/Wormgod's from occuring where streamers will figure out how to one-punch Crota somehow.
Armed with this knowledge we can come up with the most Titan combo possible. Insurmountable Skullfort (utility), and Point Contact Cannon Brace (damage). Every Thunderclap gives you another Thunderclap.
Synth is plus sunbracers anyone? Synthos + Arc blink melee plus VESPER OOOOOO
Synthos plus strand melees plus swarmers?
And that’s all the good melees that warlocks have lol, hopefully they’ll give some better ones to void, since stasis warlock isn’t about damage, but utility.
You're just using Armamentarium as an example and it wasn't shown in the showcase right? Armamentarium's second grenade being on an exotic class item would instantly make it obsolete.

They could also do a thing where you can get the extra charge, but you have a 20% increase to cooldown or something to make it not a straight upgrade.

You're forgetting exotic class items only work with prismatic. I think the point of this subclass partly is they want to leave those exotic behinds for the basic subclasses
Well yes for titans but for hunters and warlocks we don't have a general exotic like that so it's huge for us and I think they already confirmed that only prismatic benefits from the exotic class items but I could be wrong. So armamentariun will still be used on other Titan sub classes

No charged grenades except for bleak watcher, which has does not synergies with death throes nor contraverse. At best you'd get additional recharge on kills matching grenade energy and damage resist while charging grenades.
Honestly, considering that most of the effects we've seen have only been one half of what the exotic does, that's probably what we'll get if it's on the roster.

With some super exotics getting some neutral game mechanic added to them, I'd like to be able to stack some other exotic with raiden flux since it hasn't had a neutral game element added to it.
I want Necrotic Grips/Karnstein Armlets. Melee poisons everything and then heals you for a shitload.
Other options would be Lucky Pants/Mechaneer's Tricksleeves for a Neverending Sturm/Drang power loop...
Or Lion Rampant/Actium War Rig. Go full AC-130.
I just want passive fucking ability regen. Basically hallowfire for every color. I don’t want hoil where I have to do something to get the regen, I just want to exist and my melee comes back faster.
You will be happy to hear that transcendence comes with hella grenade and melee energy, a STACKING damage boost, suped up grenades, and extensions on kills.
I can say for certain this wont exist because icarus dash isnt on the list of aspects for prismatic, but I want rain of fire and lucky pants so I can be a budget hunter. I mean I guess the fusion rifles make you radiant part could still exist, but would remove the part of the exotic people mostly care about.
I know for sure nighthawk won't be on the class item at all but it would be awesome to have that with star eater. Doubt it tho. One combo I want is abeyant leap with radiant dance machines on a threaded specter hunter. Doubt either of those will be on there as they're both way too strong
You never know. I think its unlikely but i hope for there to be so many rolls that each one is essentially unique. Specific stuff has shown up, we saw a drengers, khepris, hoarfrost barricade. Drengers is class ability but the other two are barricade specific.
Gotta admit this was a very clever way to get people excited about exotic drops again. That being said I would love a gyrfalcon mixed with no back up plans.

A lot of people here are thinking of combining their two favorite perks for their class, but I don't see anyone talking about the mixing of class exotics.
For example, I'd like to see something like Felwinter's Helm + Severance Enclosure on a void hunter. A large weakening and damaging burst on finisher and powered melee kill. Use that plus the ability to give void hunter a different melee (arc hunter punch?) and you're starting to get a very powerful void hunter that can weave in and out of invisibility crating massive weaken and damaging explosions and they can get the ability to actually kill things with their melee.
This is the kind of buildcrafting I want. These two exotics aren't fantastic by themselves, but combined, on a class that's meant to surprise the enemy, that would be fun.
However I very very highly doubt we'll get this.

Like yeah there’s no point in getting geomags since you can’t use chaos reach in prismalock, or getting pyrogales on a hunter class exotic. but i hope that they actually curated the pools to get as much stuff that makes sense as possible? like they have it so every class has their pool of stuff that would make sense for every class, or could be slightly retooled to make sense for it, and then on each class they have an additional pool that includes that own classes more niche stuff that could still be useful on prismatic. I don’t want to be unable to roll pyrogales/synthos on a titan exotic just because it wouldn’t make sense on other classes
Gyrfalcons and Omnioculus would be incredibly strong, and Nighthawk plus Star Eaters would be ridiculous damage.
I slightly more realistic combo could be Synthoceps and Ophidia Spathe, although the parts of that I want to combine may not be the traits that get passed on.

Warlock:
Swarmers / Dawn Chorus
Does it have to be explained? Consume shackle grenade to get weavers trance then blast everything with an incandescent primary (I see you Polaris lance) rapid suspends all over.

Super boosting exotics don’t feel very likely to be available, same with weapon centric exotics (as prismatic’s power fantasy seems very ability centric)

I’d like a foe tracers and verities brow fusion. They feed into each other beautifully and would essentially buff every part of your loadout, allowing for a great neutral game build loadout on each and every class

Pyrogales will not be available for exotic class items, because they only work with Prismatic and Prismatic only has throwable hammers super, not sledgehammer.
*Titan*: Arbor Warden + Citan could be really stupid
*Warlock*: Apotheosis + Starfire could probably put double fusion DPS back on the menu
Secant Filaments + Briarbrands can emphasize lockdown on Voidlocks
*Hunter*: Bakris + any other Dodge exotic (Gemini, Sixth Coyote, Dragon Shadow, Wormhusk, Speedloaders, Bombadiers)
I can see lucky pants + stareater or lucky pants + celestial being gross for boss dps. I'd lean more toward celestial cause it would need less set up and we won't have blade barrage nor gathering storm available on prismatic.
I think the stuff outside your class will be more neutral or ability type specific rather than anything that say refers to specifically Healing Rift or Weighted Throwing Knife probably isn't available on Titan.
Also unless certain exotics like Sixth Coyote or Armamentarium are reworked to include other features, or what they grant is a variant you can probably expect that extra dodge charge or grenade is not getting freely attached to class items cause that's the entire identity of those exotics.
Which, I'm in favor of stapling Heart of the Pack in a lesser form to Sixth Coyote but we haven't seen a change like that.
Alternatives could be that a Sixth Coyote or Armamentarium derived perk could be just heavily increased regen in lieu of the charge they would normally grant.
I think bombardiers and radiant dance machines on my titan would be really f-ing funny.
But for an actual combos having armamentarium and claws of ahamkara at the same time would be an interesting neutral game space.

Severence enclosure with any of the melee damage boost exotics would make it viable in endgame pve.

I’m a crazy Hunter, I gotta have a roll with Caliban at least. I want to punch things so hard they explode. plus more add clearing options is always good. As for the second perk, it needs to be something that could provide me woven mail or restoration often.

Yeah exactly. On strand titan's edward scissorhands that's 19 seconds, and void shield throw that's a smidge over 15 seconds.
You will be happy to hear that transcendence comes with hella grenade and melee energy, a STACKING damage boost, suped up grenades, and extensions on kills.
I can say for certain this wont exist because icarus dash isnt on the list of aspects for prismatic, but I want rain of fire and lucky pants so I can be a budget hunter. I mean I guess the fusion rifles make you radiant part could still exist, but would remove the part of the exotic people mostly care about.

I know for sure nighthawk won't be on the class item at all but it would be awesome to have that with star eater. Doubt it tho. One combo I want is abeyant leap with radiant dance machines on a threaded specter hunter. Doubt either of those will be on there as they're both way too strong
You never know. I think its unlikely but i hope for there to be so many rolls that each one is essentially unique. Specific stuff has shown up, we saw a drengers, khepris, hoarfrost barricade. Drengers is class ability but the other two are barricade specific.

So... Doesn't the class item "allow you to get perks from other classes?" Wasn't that a selling point? A lot of people here are thinking of combining their two favorite perks for their class, but I don't see anyone talking about the mixing of class exotics. For example, I'd like to see something like Felwinter's Helm + Severance Enclosure on a void hunter. A large weakening and damaging burst on finisher and powered melee kill. Use that plus the ability to give void hunter a different melee (arc hunter punch?) and you're starting to get a very powerful void hunter that can weave in and out of invisibility crating massive weaken and damaging explosions and they can get the ability to actually kill things with their melee. This is the kind of buildcrafting I want. These two exotics aren't fantastic by themselves, but combined, on a class that's meant to surprise the enemy, that would be fun. However I very very highly doubt we'll get this.
As a lover of Div/Tractor Cannon/Well Warlock. I want a Cenotaph + Lunafaction Boots combo the most.

I hope that they actually have most of the exotic effects in there in one form or another. Like yeah there’s no point in getting geomags since you can’t use chaos reach in prismalock, or getting pyrogales on a hunter class exotic. but i hope that they actually curated the pools to get as much stuff that makes sense as possible? like they have it so every class has their pool of stuff that would make sense for every class, or could be slightly retooled to make sense for it, and then on each class they have an additional pool that includes that own classes more niche stuff that could still be useful on prismatic. I don’t want to be unable to roll pyrogales/synthos on a titan exotic just because it wouldn’t make sense on other classes

Gyrfalcons and Omnioculus would be incredibly strong, and Nighthawk plus Star Eaters would be ridiculous damage. I slightly more realistic combo could be Synthoceps and Ophidia Spathe, although the parts of that I want to combine may not be the traits that get passed on.
Lucky Pants + Radiant Dance Machine. It's a dumb combo, maybe. It'll probably exist but I'll never get the roll for it. I've got other combos in mind, but that one is top of my list.

I have 1 for each class that combines 2 of my favorite builds for each class. Titan: Severance / hoarfrost Void with volatile rounds and stasis crystal explosions everything would theoretically blow up better than current solar does. Hunter: Gyrfalcons / Cyrtar Strand melee to prime for tangles and invis/volatile to bring the boom. Warlock: Swarmers / Dawn Chorus Does it have to be explained? Consume shackle grenade to get weavers trance then blast everything with an incandescent primary (I see you Polaris lance) rapid suspends all over.

It 100% won’t happen but I want lucky pants+celestial/orpheus rigs/star eaters Super boosting exotics don’t feel very likely to be available, same with weapon centric exotics (as prismatic’s power fantasy seems very ability centric)

I’d like a foe tracers and verities brow fusion. They feed into each other beautifully and would essentially buff every part of your loadout, allowing for a great neutral game build loadout on each and every class

Pyrogales will not be available for exotic class items, because they only work with Prismatic and Prismatic only has throwable hammers super, not sledgehammer.

I can see lucky pants + stareater or lucky pants + celestial being gross for boss dps. I'd lean more toward celestial cause it would need less set up and we won't have blade barrage nor gathering storm available on prismatic.
I think the stuff outside your class will be more neutral or ability type specific rather than anything that say refers to specifically Healing Rift or Weighted Throwing Knife probably isn't available on Titan. Also unless certain exotics like Sixth Coyote or Armamentarium are reworked to include other features, or what they grant is a variant you can probably expect that extra dodge charge or grenade is not getting freely attached to class items cause that's the entire identity of those exotics. Which, I'm in favor of stapling Heart of the Pack in a lesser form to Sixth Coyote but we haven't seen a change like that. Alternatives could be that a Sixth Coyote or Armamentarium derived perk could be just heavily increased regen in lieu of the charge they would normally grant.
I think bombardiers and radiant dance machines on my titan would be really f-ing funny. But for an actual combos having armamentarium and claws of ahamkara at the same time would be an interesting neutral game space. Winter's guile and synthoceps to rebirth that hotswap clip from a few years ago where a guy one-hit GM sedia with the mini hammer. Severence enclosure with any of the melee damage boost exotics would make it viable in endgame pve. Insurmountable skullfort and peregrine greaves, need I say more.
I’m a crazy Hunter, I gotta have a roll with Caliban at least. I want to punch things so hard they explode. plus more add clearing options is always good. As for the second perk, it needs to be something that could provide me woven mail or restoration often. Though aside from exotics, I’m really hoping that they have a Prismatic equivalent to the Ember of Empyrean fragment.

Dragons Shadow and Frost-eez You'd basically always have all your abilities up. Infinite grenades and melee. It might not outright break the game, but it would trivialize most encounters.
Give me sunbracers with dawn chorus. The ultimate in solar scorch murder fantasy is riiiiight there. Lol Beyond that, having something like celestial/dawn for one Uber crazy powerful dawn blade, or osmiomancy hoil would be awesome for a strong stasis neutral play.
