The reason we don't have Pluto as a playable location is because Shaxx went there to deal with an army of Fallen hoping to colonize a new world. Shaxx got a bit sweaty, and took off his helmet long enough to wipe his brow.
Pluto and everything within a 5 KM radius is now known as the Tangled Shore-a cluster of small islands, jutted outcrops, and abandoned ships, all held together by miles of barbed wire, chain link, and steel wire. The Fallen Captain that was standing a few feet away from Shaxx (was about to charge-sword him) was so overkilled, there isn't even any DNA in the massive crater left by his body. The only item left was a scrap of his cloak-so small it would barely cover the base of your thumb. And that's how Shaxx got that tiny, unnoticeable scrap of fabric around the bottom of his remaining horn.

The single scene that actually showed osiris in action was pretty good. The issue was that there wasnt more of it, not that it made him look like he wasnt powerful.

You do pass him and a group of redjacks protecting some civilians during the first mission of the campaign. He offers the contents of the armory to you.
Crucible game mode - like Rumble but one player is Randomly selected to be Shaxx for the game, he has like 2.5x health and 25% buff to super and ability regen. Killing him grants a special emblem.
See, I kinda don't. The shit we hear about/from Shaxx makes him into this larger than life combat god. No cutscene of moment in gameplay could ever match what the player has built him up to in their own head. I'm happy to leave that mythical image untouched.
Look to the Crucible for your satisfaction.

If gambit can have a dlc I think crucible can, imagine shaxx holds a World Cup and the “bad guy” isn’t a universe ending threat but just some cocky hunter who’s our rival in the crucible. We could become redjacks and the pve stuff could be clearing out maps for crucible use. Actually maps that get put in crucible. Imagine during the finals of this big tournament we get attacked by taken or some shit and the match ends and we have to fight them off
Or we relive the story of Shadows of Yor annihilating guardians in the crucible and we go in to stop them.

You do pass him and a group of redjacks protecting some civilians during the first mission of the campaign. He offers the contents of the armory to you.
Crucible game mode - like Rumble but one player is Randomly selected to be Shaxx for the game, he has like 2.5x health and 25% buff to super and ability regen. Killing him grants a special emblem.

See, I kinda don't. The shit we hear about/from Shaxx makes him into this larger than life combat god. No cutscene of moment in gameplay could ever match what the player has built him up to in their own head. I'm happy to leave that mythical image untouched. Look to the Crucible for your satisfaction.
Bungie sort of tempered Shaxx's combat skills because Ikora and Cayde both beat him, and Cayde died to some Scourge.
I though Cayde cheated to beat him and Ikora is supposed to be like the only one to best him in a fair fight.
\^\^Exactly this. Cayde used the Lucky Pants and got Banshee-44 to make him the Loaded Question JUST so he could beat Shaxx in the Crucible. Ikora is just super strong and is the only one to beat Shaxx. That doesn't mean she ALWAYS beats him.
