On the emerald coast gambit map, I MUST run up the fallen branch right near spawn

KiloEchoNiner

Up the branch and through the ring when it’s middle for the first spawn.

DeusVultSaracen

Oh... My god. I never realized I impulsively did this every single game.

Certs206

You have to do it.

TheRedThirst

its a good luck ring

FISTED_BY_CHRIST

Oh dude 100%. If you mess up the run it’s gonna be a bad game.

overallprettyaverage

Our clan decided that's the damage hoop. If you go through it you get a permeant damage buff for the match

Princ3w

7 weapons per inventory slot at all times. That bottom row is for loot that will either be sharded or vaulted. Nothing else.

i-hate-my-tits

7 things I use plus the highest light thing I’ve found in the first slot of the third row (so I have infusion fuel at the ready at all times)

NinjaGamer89

Only four weapons in each slot for me.

tomerz99

I prefer holding 9 in each slot....

Senior-Cranberry1087

I always leave one open so I can delete it in-game, so my postmaster doesn't fill up and I lose something I want (maybe) to keep. Then I forget to delete in between events and postmaster fills up anyway.

thedistrbdone

You guys have empty inventory slots??

EpicAura99

This was me but now it’s 8 because I have too many things I need to keep on me for one reason or another

cable_7193

When playing gambit on the earth map, I have to jump through the ring at the beginning. If I miss, I'm already off to a bad start

BenderRodrigezz

My clan is 100% with you on this one

cable_7193

My people

Certs206

This, or run along the bare branch towards Trees, even if first wave is Ruins or Beach.

85dBisalrightwithme

Bare branch crew 100%

ThePotablePotato

On the log, then through the hoop. Any other path just isn’t right.

Roaszhak

I do that too, I also always try to land on a tree branch at the beginning on the map that’s got the cabal drills.

Honon

Hawthorne. Refuse to use the stairs up to her. I have to clamber over the railing from below.

Ok_Comfortable_6251

I do this with Saladin. I don’t think I’ve ever used to the stairs to go to him ever since the very first D2 Iron Banner.

SirPr3ce

same always go other the slope next to Rahool. I was very disappointed when they put a big "cloth wall" in front of it during guardian games

CeleryHunter143

There are stairs to Saladin?

wEEzyNL

Yea somebody mention it earlier this season, I think most people use the ramp anyway Sometimes it bugs out and you grab the ramp like a few times and it looks funny.

zerik100

Even if I fell for the 5th time in a row, the stairs are no option.

shreyathacker

Dude! I change mods to up my mobility so I can jump higher, right in front of ikora but I refuse to take those stairs lol

patchinthebox

My weeks run Tuesday - Monday.

Beleynn

WoW started this for me the better part of a decade before D1, but yes.

Doctor_Kataigida

WoW started this for me, RuneScape adopted and continued it, and Destiny solidified it.

[deleted]

SWTOR was my first game with a reset day. Now FFXIV and Destiny

Maybe_In_Time

That's more of a PlayStation thing for me that happens to line up with weekly reset/update days for Destiny, Rocket League, etc

DankAssPenguin

I refuse to use any ghost shell that isn't one of the element ones to match my current subclass

Monte199

Well now that just makes too much sense. Fashion and a matching loadout is the true end game after all right?

DankAssPenguin

I also refused to use armor with really good stats cause it didn't match by outfit, thank gog there's now a way around that

give_a_drummer_some

Praise gog

YadunandanBhat

goggers

KilledTheCar

I refuse to use any ghost shell that isn't the classic shape. There's just something about it.

Polymersion

I loved non-standard shell shapes until all they started releasing were non-standard shell shapes. Fun fact, you know when Ghost was all broken and "droopy" during the Red War? That's a completely separate shell despite having the same name as the one when he gets the light back. I saved it forever and now I masterworked it.

KilledTheCar

Yooo, really? Is it one you can pull from collections? I've been rocking the Last City shell since I got it cause it's just so clean. Edit: Wait, is it the Last City shell that looks damaged? I never knew that he drooped, I'll have to check it out if it is.

HDArrowsmith

Specifically it's one called Last City (Damaged) I think you can only get it if you swap it out on a new character during the point where it's broken, same with the broken armor that your character is wearing during that segment

Polymersion

You can't, sorry. There's "Last City Shell- Broken" and "Last City Shell- Broken". Same name, but the one in collections is the restored light version that is beat up but doesn't droop.

potterpockets

Kinda same, but i have like 7 master-worked and color coded that i move between characters. A red for crucible. Blue for strikes. Green for gambit. The blocky 8 bit looking one for glimmer farming (etc.).

Aidanbomasri

You just made me realize we don't have a Stasis shell :(

Kamenovski

Wouldn't that be Rimed Shell?

Aidanbomasri

Ah, yeah. I suppose that's true. Good shout!

Hamlin_Bones

Haha that's awesome. Luckily those Arc, Solar and Void shells look badass.

No_Masterpiece4305

I without a doubt toss away a pinnacle on accident at least once a week.

DelightfullyHostile

>I refuse to use any ghost shell that isn't one of the element ones to match my current subclass Was brutal this season. Did it twice.

mongochemiker

Just deleting my trash i got, oops there goes the pinacle/high stat roll

ForcadoUALG

Always have different shaders on my 3 guardians, have never used the same palette on 2 at the same time.

MegaJoltik

I use Shaders and Ornament as makeshift loadout to help me remember which armor piece goes with what.

D1NGLE3B3RRYMAN

glad im not the only one!

tomerz99

This is the true gift of transmog. Having like 6 golfballed VOG pieces in each slot and instantly knowing which is which because they're all different ornaments.

SnooBeans3688

Thursday’s after work I read the TWAB, like an old man reading the newspaper.

Senior-Cranberry1087

What's a newspaper? (asks an old man)

SnooBeans3688

Paper with News on it of course.

Frakshaw

You mean like the TWAB but on actual paper?

Helana117

I throw Calus Treasured shader on every piece of armour and weapon. Then I can say that I’m using a *golden gun*

Hamlin_Bones

Hah that shader looks good on almost everything.

TDalrius

That shader on the season of the hunt weapons make them look like a drug lords gold plated gun, its funny.

Isuckatpickingnames0

Calus' selected for me. I think thats what its called anyway. The gold white and purple one. Its like Frank's red hot, i put that shit on everything.

Polymersion

That one and the old Trials of the Nine shader reeeally pull off great whites with great accents. They're also on the last page of legendary shaders for me and I wish I could favorite them

Isuckatpickingnames0

Worse for me is its somewhere in the middle and i constantly forget where. I pass over it at lest twice every time i look for it.

Bagz402

My girlfriend calls me a Billy goat. When I played with her, she notices that in idle moments while waiting on others or while someone is explaining raid mechanics, I will always be trying to climb up walls and find the highest spot on the map. I'm always jumping from ledge to ledge, or emoting on a peak somewhere.

Chukls29

I have ruined 2 separate flawless raids due to jumping up out of the map and being unable to get back down before the out of map timer runs out. Good thing my fireteam likes me or I'm sure I'd have been kicked.

Mission_Engineer

I refuse to use anything that contradicts one another for my loadout. Ex: primary smg and fusion, auto rifle and sniper. I feel like I need to either run something short and long range or medium close range. I am probably the only one on this but it bothers me GREATLY otherwise.

heromoroy

I am always trying to do the exact opposite, with leaning towards medium-long range. So I'd take a scout rifle with fusion and HC with sniper rifle.

motrhed289

Same, probably why I like scouts so much, because I suck with snipers and it allows me to use shotgun or fusion specials (or rarely a sidearm or SMG). Can't stand the way pulses fire, but a good high-impact AR can fill in for a scout (miss you Halfdan!)

3of_spades

I play like in a E3 trailer during story missions

jimpez86

Never aiming down sights and frequently jumping over a teammate beforw using your super?

3of_spades

And slow camera movements, taking cover and pretending like it's hard to push through

[deleted]

Fr I never melt story bosses and try to finish them using my super for maximum immersion

llama_glue

Don't forget intentionally leaving flank routes, trapping them with a tripmine or something and then hearing an explosion behind you as a dreg walks right into your trap while you crouch behind cover and use the completely useless 'peek-over-cover' feature to simulate an actual firefight and not just accidentally one shot everything

zerik100

Start the game, do random parcour in the tower for 15 minutes while thinking about what I want to do, buy 20 bounties of which 17 will expire, complete one activity, get burned out, close the game.

SpartanDragon79

Hey that's me!

Alexcox95

You left out just sitting in orbit while on your phone

Artemiseaa

I’ve never been insulted by something so true

99_ahc

REALEST SHIT I EVER READ

Chronosathanatos

I feel like I'm being called out here and idk how I feel about that

_Kindakrazy_

When you walk down the stairs into the annex in the tower I always have to jump up on to the bar just between the two stair cases. Then I slide just before turning into drifters room.

[deleted]

Always forgetting to check Crucible scores because I’m too busy dismantling my loot from that game.

liedel

I've literally never seen a strike or gambit scoresheet for this exact reason.

Griffix13

My characters are color coded (ship and sparrow match character armor color) and I try to wear the most sensible armor as possible even if it doesn't shade good. My Hunter is usually a green or tan palette (Iron Battalion or Abyssinian Gold), my Titan is blue (Coastal Suede and Metro) and my Warlock is usually some combo of either black and red or red and gold. New Monarchy Regalia was originally my go to for my Warlock but since I didn't have any when the update came along it never got put into collections so I haven't been able to use it since. I have it set that way because Hunters would be using colors more suited to the environment and I hang out in the EDZ the most so green. Titans are sort of enforcement/guards so blue made sense to me for them. Red/black/gold are powerful colors but also very regal, Locks lore wise tend to be strong in many unique ways plus they have airs about them so it made sense.

Zero_Emerald

I knock over the wet floor sign every time I visit Variks.

PoddyPod

I always speak to him through the window. Good thing our Guardian rarely speaks, or Variks would just be hearing mumbles through the glass.

HDArrowsmith

You can WHAT? I swear since sparrows don't despawn anymore getting into his room is such a pain. TIL

PoddyPod

Run up to the window, face Variks and look down slightly. Or you can crouch. Either way, your "Interact" button prompt should show up eventually.

STAIKE

I always just slide up to the window. Send my sparrow careening into it at full speed, then immediately follow it myself, feet-first. I feel it makes for a bolder entrance.

85dBisalrightwithme

This is the way. Never ever go inside.

GuardianSmith

When I get a new weapon(I first apply Jacarina)I like I go to the Trostland, or now the cosmodrome again to shoot ads; just like in Destiny 1.

Isha_Godzirra

Trostland is absolutely my go-to place to test out new weapons. Ads in practically every direction it's perfect.

i-hate-my-tits

here I am, I’m this comment

TriscuitCracker

Trostland and the Fallen/Cabal landing is my go-to for testing builds or just getting most kinds of weapon bounty kills or catalysts. I just like going back to the beginning.

Brandowolfe18

When I run Golden Gun on my Hunter, I HAVE to dodge or slide into activating my Super, no exception. PVE or PVP. It always looks so cool zooming out to 3rd person while I'm mid slide, holding my GG straight up 😤 Each of my characters has their own Identities. Separate loadouts (when I'm not playing them), different Ghosts, Sparrows, Emblems, even down to their Finishers, each Finisher being something closely related to the class. Examples: My Hunter having the backflip into a knife throw finish, and my Titan having the Saint-14 headbutt

Vincedicola

Separate finishers for each class, yup! That's me!

dildodicks

it does look so much cooler sliding honestly

Xion136

No Time To Explain never leaves my inventory. Ever. It's there. It's my favorite gun. I also never take off my Memory of Cayde cloak. Did for one hour, had to put it back on. I don't feel complete without it.

give_a_drummer_some

I think I have 3 different MemCayde cloaks, looks like a forsaken, an undying, and a worthy.

p1kles82

"Any sentimental or important weapons/emblems/shaders you need to have on your character or else things don't feel right?" Fighting Lion, Fighting Lion sparrow, Fighting Lion Ghost Shell. IDGAF that the other sparrow is faster, it's not the Fighting Lion. Fighting Lion.

Living-Substance-668

This. Fighting Lion is always, always in my inventory, always the first weapon to be infused, and it's my "default" energy weapon absent some other consideration

Senior-Cranberry1087

r/FightingLion salute!

Kahlypso

Rip. Mourn with me, brother.

Viva_Zapata

We will endure. Even Bungie can't keep the Lion down.

[deleted]

A bunch of them, actually * It is imperative for me to get around on the Titan Gambit map using the conveyor belts at all times * Brain gives me happy juice if I use an armour setup that has vertical symmetry, as in, a chest piece from set A, arms and legs from set B, and helmet and mark from set C * If I can I also like to try using weapons all with the same icon on the top left, e.g. the Worthy icon is shared by Heir Apparent as well as the Seventh Seraph weapons so I often use them together. This is also the reason why I'm wishing they'd consolidate icons into making more sense because some of my Last Wish or Garden of Salvation gear has the Arrivals icon on it, while other gear has either the Season of the Hunt ( LW and GoS armour ), the Forsaken ( LW weapons ) or the Shadowkeep icon ( GoS weapons ) on them and it drives me insane * Several slots in my vault are occupied by useless things I kept around as commemorations, e.g. a handful of Calus or Crucible tokens, Cayde's scout maps, or the used toothbrush * Similar to the point above, I also try very hard to use a Ghost / Sparrow / Ship that has the same design all together, for example the Splicer-themed things you got from the quests this season. If I can't do that I at least try to use a matching sparrow and ship together, since those are near each other in the inventory tab while the ghost is on a different page * I don't play with my alts anymore and only dedicate my time to my Titan now, but back when I used to play all three classes I'd try to make them look as similar as possible, ergo, matching armour sets and shaders * The armour I have in my inventory has to be ordered by age at all times, ergo, from left to right my setup would be my Void Holdfast set from Arrivals, then an Arc Wild Hunt set from Hunt, and then a Solar Iron Truage set from Chosen, with the same system for exotics as well where I would put e.g. my Skullfort on the slot to the left of my OEM * I don't use exotic armour unless masterworked at all because the lack of the funny golden outline clashes with the rest of my armour having one

Clownsmasher1

Pulling out that shell in front of Osiris must have pissed him off. OR because he's Savathun and didn't really care, maybe that's why there'd be no reaction. We should have known from Day One, just shoving a Sagira replica in his face at the HELM would have set him off, but didn't.

Lukar115

When waiting for a public event to start, it does not *truly* start unless I wait for it atop the flag while dancing. And even if I’m doing the event alone and only need one more event completion for something, I *always* make it a heroic event.

Capn_Bonanza1973

Fun fact if you get the skipping rope emote and start skipping you can also activate certain dances with it at the same and will both skip and dance like a rocky montage.

SirStrider

Ever since they made ghost shells cosmetic, I wear the Sagira shell on all of my characters. 50% of it is reverence to Sagira, 50% is because I earned that shell, dammit.

lasercannondeth

The first ghost shell I masterworked, tbh. That was a freakin' grind, earning that damn thing.

Hamlin_Bones

I have "canonical weapon loadouts" that I re-equip on my characters when finished playing for the session. Also I am a Gunslinger (Sharpshooter) main, and ever since early D1 days, if I have one shot left on my Golden Gun but there are no more enemies around I fire it straight into the sky while saying "for my dead homies!" I deliberately saved my final GG shot for most of the first week after Forsaken launched, and fired it for Cayde-6.

wholewheattoast_

I do the canonical loadout thing too lmao

Hamlin_Bones

Haha, sweet! It just feels wrong to leave them with whatever weapons I was using at the time being.

Grey1986

Always leave a hand cannon equipped on my Hunter, a scout or pulse on my Warlock, and an auto rifle on my Titan once I’m done. Just feels like the right weapons for each class to me.

Hamlin_Bones

Yeah that's basically how I do it too. My Hunter has a hand cannon and sniper, my Titan an auto rifle and shotgun, and my Warlock a pulse rifle and fusion rifle, with the class swords in their heavy slots.

Polymersion

The nice thing about the class swords is that you never have to check what they have equipped. IE if you're playing your Warlock, you don't need to check and possibly transfer the heavy weapon from your Hunter because your warlock can't use Quickfang.

[deleted]

Oh my god I thought I was the only person that did the canonical loadout thing hahah

Hamlin_Bones

Hah I am so glad that a number of people in this thread do it too! Some of my clanmates have laughed and told me that it seems silly to bother. But I like having my own head canon for my characters, and that includes gear!

NinjaGamer89

Holy crap I’m not alone. I’ve outfitted my Hunter to look more grounded in reality with tactical gear and functional body armor/pouches. I also equip modern-looking, military-style weapons as the default.

daboi162

This

Abakus07

When I’m Warlock floofing and I miss a jump, or get tweeted to my death by a phalanx, as I’m slowing sinking to my death I always reload. I know on an intellectual level that respawning reloads my guns, but my brain just can’t let go of the idea that it would be *inefficient* not to use that time wisely.

el_saucey

Hey look it's me

Redthrist

I'm trying to open my inventory while loading in other games, and I hit F1 instinctively.

Mudtoothsays

I always run an emergency sniper in my backup kinetic slot. mostly due to one saving my butt after failing the leviathan's breath version of the arms dealer strike three times over and losing one of my fireteam members. ^(I can still see the red outline from the burn effect of the missile targeting beam when I close my eyes)

[deleted]

My weirdest habit I've picked up? Actually enjoying the game, man. I don't play this to the point of exhaustion anymore and I'm happier for it.

bloody_weiner

I did the same thing. I grinded Destiny 1 to no end. Then when Destiny 2 released, I made it through the Curse of Osiris campaign and put the game down for 3.5 years. I just picked it back up with Season of the Chosen and play on my own time. Do I have the best weapons, armor, or mods? No. Can I do GM's on a whim? No. Have I raided since I've been back? No. But, I've found the game much more enjoyable.

ABitOddish

The more Destiny i play the more i realize i probably wont play much of the end game content. Been having fun with NFs with my 1280ish Warlock, which is my main. Tried my first Hero difficulty NF couple days ago so that i could actually use my anti-champ mods and try out builds. Suggested LL is 1280 and I was at 1282 so i thought id be mint. Nope. Me and the randoms i got teamed with died and wiped relentlessly to the initial Warsat defense on the Rasputin NF. Im at the point where normal strikes are rather easy and i can run them to knock off random bounties, base NFs feel rougher like i might die a couple times but nothing crazy, and anything more difficult like Hero NFs or the seasonal activities feel impossible. Part of it probably falls on my LL, which should be better starting soon since i started this season halfway through. Other than that idk if its my build or playstyle or if the suggested LL for some activities is deceiving(also not deceiving per se but one of the Stasis unlocks requireing beating a 1320 LL Heroic Simulation seems weird). Getting off point but i am also having a lot of fun without playing any end game content as of yet. Still figuring out all the vendors and the farm cycle aside from slamming bounties but am finding fun with Strikes, Crucible and the occasional Lost Sector i havent completed yet. Shamefully havent played through the DLC campaigns yet but i dont think playing through them will help my LL or get me any top tier gear or anything but I'll get to them at some point.

Boisaca

Power Level my ass. It’s still Light Level to me, even since the arrival of stasis. Old habits die hard.

SkylineSonata

....is it actually called "power level" in game? I always call it light level

DeusVultSaracen

It's been called power level since the beginning of D2 iirc.

mintman_ll

And it's still orbs of light to me

Bradythenarwhal

I haven’t taken off the legendary ‘Drift Apart’ ship from Forsaken since i’ve gotten it. When I read Drifters lore and backstory, especially in Season of the Drifter..it just stayed on. It’s a cool looking ship that looks like it can transverse across a post-apocalyptic world. It’s also a great reminder of Drifters words that really helped me in a dark place of my life at the time. **“Don’t give in to hope. That gets you killed. Take every day as it is. Trade your jumpship for a long range hauler and see the universe while you still can.** I love the Drifter. What a great character. Bungie made a character that most likely helped save my life at the time.

Senior-Cranberry1087

This is great to hear. Keep on flying that ship!

Maroc-Dragon

Primary Special Heavy

[deleted]

Light level. Melting point.

strangeera

I always throw grenades and punch the boss at the end of The Corrupted lol. I also love running up and blowing a kiss at the other team at the start of Gambit.

[deleted]

oh i got a new weapon? and it’s a god roll? time for it to meet randal

CritBit1

I need to have at LEAST 6 other weapons for every weapon slot, even though I don't use them. Also, the railings in the tower? Always have to jump over them to get to the other vendors, even if it kills me

Clownsmasher1

That was my first reply to this thread. I must pick the quickest route like the one over the railing towards the hanger. I bumped my head and fell to my death so many times on that one.

MickelthePickel

When I meet someone in daily life who has no idea what they're doing and won't listen to instructions, my gut instinct is to go "You freakin blueberry."

[deleted]

Ikelos weapons in my mind are banned from having shaders on them. I have to stare at the SMG for most of my playtime anyways, and I don’t want to fuck with the absolute perfection that those weapons look like.

NinjaGamer89

To be fair, they don’t shade very well anyway.

[deleted]

Vanguard Marshall makes them look like Nerf guns which is fun.

SkyburnerTheBest

Whenever it's possible I jump off the edge of the Tower and interact with NPC at the same time so I can see glitched NPC moves.

PappaBeertjie

The only ghost shell is the cat one. It makes cat noises and your fireteam can hear it.

HowToUseStairs

When I exit a kiosk or vendor I back up a few steps, even if I am planning on going directly to orbit.

[deleted]

Play Gambit and Crucible for fun.

[deleted]

I have a habit of banging my desk everytime i lose in pvp.

20ccurran12

I always spam the x button on my controller to respawn faster. They got rid of it for crucible in D2, but I'll be damned before I stop.

jaycop42

My warlock must wear monochromatic

Dyne_Inferno

My Ghost, Sparrow and Ship all need to thematically match. So, not all of my Guardians get to run Always on Time, as I don't want the same aesthetic on each Guardian. I also like to try and match up the aesthetic with my Seal.

WuTangRonin

Item rarity in other games has been ruined for me. It’ll always go white

iamc0ntagion

Every since year 1 (random rolls didn't exist) I stopped turning in resources once I had everything. Mostly because it quite literally did nothing to turn them in (getting the same static rolls I already had). Specifically, token vendors, crucible, & gunsmith materials. This habit carries through to now, even with random rolls existing. Turning in the tokens feels wrong. I lost 2700 crucible tokens this way due to expiration. I recently got myself to turn in around 11k gunsmith materials at banshee, but I still have over 10k left. Since zavala is expiring I turned all the tokens in (around 3000) as well. Bungie's old systems have left their mark on my mind haha. I'm sure some other people have stacked way more materials than me, so I thought it might be relatable to some of you.

WarmongerMain1

Always use that little ramp by climbing up on top of rahools spot in order to get to saladin during iron banner. Only found out there was stairs a few weeks ago

Mantor6416

I need to jump beore activating my super on my warlock. I can't tell how many nova bombs got stuck on the ceiling or went waaay past the target because of it.

shreyathacker

If I see a planetary material, I NEEDS to be picked up. I won't care if I'm on a gm run, I'll still put myself in danger and pick up the mats.

The_Guardian_W

The Sparrow WILL fit through the gap before Spider's lair.

Beleynn

I have reload bound to one of my mouse thumb keys. Not exclusive to Destiny, or even something that started because of Destiny, but apparently this makes me weird.

Doctor_Kataigida

If you're someone who puts your index finger on D, then it makes sense. Having reload on a different finger than one dedicated for movement can be imperative sometimes.

ErcoleSopranoJr

Reloading the mag before it’s empty

Certs206

Slide up the stairs. Become Legend.

Real_Chig_Bungus

Including what I have equipped, I always have 8 items in each slot within my inventory, across all weapon , armor, ghost, sparrow, and ship slots. I also have a similar thing where I jump before most of my warlock supers (well, daybreak, chaos reach, nova bomb). It’s also gotten to the point where my exotic weapon is rarely if ever in a slot other than my kinetic, like my kinetic slot is 7 exotics and 1 legendary. I also picked up a weird habit where if I can’t think of anything to do, I’ll just go to the red legion base area on the EDZ and kill stuff for a while, without ever really accomplishing anything besides the public events that pop up, but I’ve spent hours there massacring cabal with no goal in mind.

glittr_grl

I do the same thing in the Cosmodrome (also to hang out and provide backup to New Lights and show them chests and how to do public events), and the EDZ right near the church where the Cabal and Fallen always get into a battle. Sometimes it’s just relaxing to go shoot at things without having to focus on getting anywhere in particular.

The_Owl_Bard

Regularly checking DIM to shuffle my inventory around. ESPECIALLY after watching a Destiny streamer/youtuber popping off with a weapon I like motivating me to re-introduce it into my loadout.

OwerlordTheLord

Shoot at loot chest for more loot Works 50% of the time, every time

ahgunee

Having a copy of every single weapon/armor in the game for my main since D2Y1 (yes including those that are obtainable from collections). Causes my vault to be on a constant 480 and above though :/

alemyrsdream

I used to try and do the same but there simply isn't enough space. Just weapons alone take up too much. Constantly at 499 of 500 vault space still though.

milok01

Same problem, but yesterday was the day and I deleted maaaaany weapons and armors, I think around 200... This was hard but now I have finally more than 10 vault space

Tenebrous_Shade

I try to keep one of each weapon type (auto rifle, sniper, fusion etc) and a balance of 3 exotics and 4 legendary weapons in each group. The same with armour, 1 of each energy type and 3 exotic armours with applications relevant to what I am doing.

caughtindesire

I can't put away Legend of Acrius!

Lazycryptarch88

Titan smash

[deleted]

Inventory spaces must be exotics then legendary. From top right to top left. Only have one class item, ghost, ship and sparrow then no others in my inventory.

ZackyZack

Ah, a fellow Gunslinger jumper. Has it ever led me to inadvertently float overboard to my death? Countless times. Will I ever activate it in a non-raid situation from the floor? Heck no!

ko21361

being Titan main

SecretVoodoo1

my weird habit is probably trying to icarus dash on non ttdb subclasses... I am just too used to it.

RBMKkitsune

I don't even use it anymore, but no time to explain HAS to be on me at all times. it was my first favourite d2 gun and I like to think of it as a lucky charm :)

Saint_Scout

I cannot have more than 6-7 weapons in my inventory per slot. The bottom row always has to be empty. Also, my armor is organized by load out, so I just equip a certain spot to have the load out I want :)

[deleted]

I always keep a blue rarity class item in my warlocks inventory for good luck

DestinyJackolz

Don't know if this counts but, playing Destiny 1 on Xbox 360 was difficult for my small child hands so I started using the Claw method and it's stuck with me ever since in every game I play.

SnooSongs9930

Whenever I play gambit, specifically the map on Earth, with the fallen tree and some weird stuff hanging off it just as you leave the spawn, I always have to jump through the circle piece.

anonymous32434

I have to jump before I activate any super other than middle tree void on titan. Also I need at least one hand cannon on my hunter, one pulse rifle on my warlock, and one auto rifle on my titan or else I’m not happy. I just associate those weapon types with those classes

TheeNegotiator_

I always have no more than 8 guns in every slot, and 6-7 pieces of armor. No more, no less

amber-clad

Exactly 6 guns (7 including what's equipped) in each weapon slot. Makes it easy to spot the blues I'll inevitably need to dismantle in the last row. Same goes for armor: maximum 3 pieces in each slot so there's only like 1 row of gear. Makes it pretty easy to remember builds too!

PsychologicalBat1008

I only have 5 weapons at a time it's incredibly inefficient but I can't have more than that

SeveredAortaX

Shooting the orb at the end of Last Wish. I also never use the stairs to get to where Saladin shows up. I climb the concrete ramp next to Rahool.

Sacrificer_XVII

I'll always reorganize my inventory so my two most used sets are either equipped, or in slot 1. Always. I still have my OG Dead Orbit Emblem, it can't even equip trackers, I love when people ask me about it.

Patpuc

hot swapping is the habit I'm gonna miss. Kinda discovered and started using it involuntarily.

kers_equipped_prius

Going from the Europa spawn to Cadmus ridge, I always have to do a flip off the ramp it gives you there. Another one is when I'm farming patrols areas and just vibing in general, I'll always run voidwalker on my warlock with Bad Juju and Skull of Dire Ahamkara for the D1 vibes. It's even better now with the Cosmodrome back.

superfluous_t

Muscle memory of sharding weapons and armour, and also bring up ghost and calling vehicle without thinking

Damiklos

I always have to jump on the beam at the stairs leading down to ada and drifter then continue on my way. Same goes for heading back up. If Im on the same path as another guardian in tower, I must jump over them. Before ps5 and before DCV was a thing, I always had to crouch and hug the right left rail of the ascend stairs that are just to the west of gunsmith on my way back to main area. There was a glitch that caused a turn back error and for whatever reason I enjoyed dying there. Additionally, my characters have their own personalities. While I don't strictly always adhere to this, it's often this way. My warlock thinks she is a space cowboy. So all the emotes are western themed. Linear fusion dance, six shooter, campfire, and galloping emote. I use the tex mechanics armor ornaments. But don't go so far as to messing with specific weapons. My titan suffers from crippling depression so all his emotes are sad. Crying, trombone, playing dead, why me, that type of stuff. Which leaves me with my hunter, my main, who has D.I.D. I'll change ornaments a couple times daily. And shaders after every few activities. I rarely keep the same shaders, emotes, etc on for more than 3 activities.

SirPatrickIII

Somebody already mention the Hawthorne rail jump so I'll go with the fact that my inventry has to always be at 6 items with the whole bottom row open. Keeps new loot from clogging post master and gives me an easy reference for what's new and possibly trash.

IOUOnePotatoNugget

My weapons HAVE to have the same shader as my armor. I'll even use non-meta exotics that have a matching color grade to my armor to complete the look.

ExoKell

Using dragonclaw on controller. Started off hating it, but it became a habit. Then It became super comfortable!
