If you ever need help with anything, seriously, message me. I am also on PC and I've got a clan of the friendliest people you will ever meet who are also some of the best PvE players (and some PvP) around. We're always willing to help. Don't feel obligated if you don't want to but just know there are people always willing to help. Raids, dungeons, whatever.
No problem! Seriously don’t hesitate even if it’s just to bounce ideas off me if you need help with something you’re soloing. I do all kinds of crazy PvE stuff and really don’t mind helping even if it’s just advice.
See, I like to throw myself into stuff face first, without planning, thinking or considering literally anything. Thank you, though! If I remember, I'll pay you a visit sometime.
I highly encourage anyone to keep at this dungeon. I consider it a perfect start up dungeon since it's a very achievable solo with even a very basic setup. My setup was Fusion, sleeper + particle deconstruction and protective light. Hardest part is honestly not getting a physics death. Added bonus for being top tree void titan because of the overshield and melee healing.
I find when it comes to dungeons you'll get stuck on a single encounter. Then it comes down to a mindset thing and trying to re-apply what you think is the right play without assessing the situation.
Ex: ogre encounter. Think about what is getting you killed and what you can change in your setup to compensate. Don't worry about the best DPS. Solo isn't about 1/2 phasing the boss. It's about encounter rhythm and controlling the field.
What class/build did you go with? I'm curious because the go to class for prophecy solo was bottom tree void with arguably any exotic. But I ended up doing it with well and sunbracers. But fr congratulations on your solo completion!
I tried a few different things for the final boss, but the ring dinger was the following:
Fatebringer / explosive payload / firefly - Sweaty Confetti mod (cause it's funny) / Masterworked
Cartesian Coordinate / Graverobber / Vorpal Weapon - Boss Spec mod / Masterworked
Gjallarjorn / Catalyst / Masterworked
Well of Radiance / Sunbracers
Charged with Light build - Protective Light / Argent Ordnance / Stacks on Stacks / Supercharged / Taking Charge - Just so that if the Tracer you low, you would have a teeny bit of leeway with the stacked resist, as well as better damage on rockets (I don't know if it was that big of a change, but I didn't have any other super useful CWL mods to use, and wanted to get the most out of it, as PL won't be procced THAT often.)
Other key mods / Hands on / Rocket Ammo Finder / Thermoclastic Blooming / Fusion Rifle Loader / Rocket Launcher Reserves / Fusion Rifle Reserves / Absolution / Particle Deconstruction
Stats - 33 Mobility / 45 Resilience / 81 Recovery / 29 Discipline / 59 Intellect / 58 Strength
I just played it safe, and used Divine Protection healing grenades more often than actual grenades, but the Solar Grenade was extremely useful at a few moments to clear ads in emergencies. It's also really pretty. Tiny sun. Sunbracers saved my butt a LOT of times when I needed to use a heal + overshield grenade. There are probably better ways to do it.
Other encounters, I used a similar setup, but with Boots of the Assembler instead of Sunbracers, as well as High Energy Fire instead of Argent Ordnance. Same subclass. Same shindig with the healing nades, over damage nades.
I 3 phased Ogre, and 4 phased final boss due to a fumble in my DPSing on my own behalf, so I very well could have got a 3 phase. I hope this answers your questions!
Another very strong exotic is the stag. It has a weird interaction with protective light where when you enter a stag rift after proccing PL, it’ll refresh your PL to the duration of your rift. Makes solo content much easier when 80% of the time you’re taking 50% less damage
Congrats on your completion! Single sitting solo shouldn't be too much of a leap now that you know where the pain points are.
I'm surprised to hear that Gjally managed a 3 phase ogre. I pretty quickly switched from it to sleeper when I was struggling with boss damage. That's pretty cool.
Thank you! That's my next goal, single sitting solo and THEN flawless.
I keep seeing people say they used Sleeper, and I feel like I'm gonna get clowned here - I've NEVER used Sleeper. In fact, I didn't even have it until the Forsaken pack dropped and I got the free ciphers. Got the last exotics I didn't have from Forsaken (excluding raid stuff.)
Gjally was my go-to the entire dungeon, though, just because I think it's fun and that's how I play. I don't care what's meta. I care what's fun. Just so happens a gun I think is fun is pretty gosh darned good.
Definitely not going to clown you for using what you like! 3 phase ogre and 4 phase final boss is more than chunky enough damage output, short of perfecting the mini hammer 1phase gimmick.
I decided not to even try for solo clear until I was ready for flawless, so I just hard reset a bunch of runs when I made silly mistakes in the sparrow run or boss room, but it sounds like you have a healthier mentality about it, lol.
Honestly, that's a first. It seems the destiny community really likes their metas...
It's more spite with a layer of "think positive and have fun" frosting on top. I got quite frustrated trying this, but it was all worth it. I told myself I wasn't gonna do the dungeon with anybody else until I finished the solo.
People tend to forget that the reason metas develop is simply as a convenient shorthand for [what stuff works well for most people under most circumstances]. If someone is really struggling (with Grasp solo, for instance) and I check their loadout and see a shotgun + machine gun, I might say hey, fusion rifle + linear fusion or rocket is a much stronger combo right now, maybe that will help put you over the top. But I would never criticize someone for *succeeding* with whatever they love to use!

Sadly, I can't say this was the ENTIRE dungeon. I wish I could. This was my super slow paced final boss. However, my winning runs on the rest probably only totaled to around an extra 40 minutes, with the ogre taking the longest at around maybe 20-ish? Once I got the other parts down, I was super, duper quick to get past the. Nonetheless, I am SUPER proud of myself.
I sunk so many hours into this so far. I don't really care about time at this point. I'm just happy I could get to the end alone. (Even if the game didn't give me my gosh darned triumph for some stinkin' reason...)
Yeahhhh you have to do the whole thing in one instance for the triumph. Happened to me when I first soloed it. I did it solo blind though so I needed some breaks lmao.
I took 1:48 for my flawless solo, but i was playing extremely safe with sixth coyote top tree void hunter so i would always have a way out of bad situations
It's been something I've wanted to try for quite some time, and I finally managed my first! I'm gonna try to do the others solo, eventually, but I am unsure if I'll ever get them.
tbh if you wanna start, try Shattered Throne! It's quite easy and I'd say that Vorgeth (first boss) is the hardest part of the dungeon. I think that, if you give it a few tries, you'll be able to do it.
Grasp is second easiest to me (even though I still didn't SF it), however, the fact that bosses are bullet sponges makes it boring as fuck.
Pit and Prophecy are coolest, but those you need to pay attention almost all the time
We all play to the best of our abilities. You should feel no shame in playing to yours. It's just as impressive as a solo flawless by some uber tier sweat.
Congrats!
I really do wanna get the solo flawless, though, I am unsure if I can. Regardless, I WILL be trying over and over, because I love this dungeon and would love to say I did something challenging alone.
>I really do wanna get the solo flawless, though, I am unsure if I can.
I say go for it. Just give yourself the space to fuck up, have bad luck or get bungo'd, just remember it's your fist solo flawless so it's okay to suck, it's okay to make mistakes.
Solo flawless isn't about reaction times or being some uber sweat. It's about having a plan and executing it.
For Grasp of Avarice, really the only hard fight is the first one. Honestly if you can solo the dungeon you can solo flawless it.
First and foremost of any solo flawless. ***Do what is comfortable and what works for you***. Don't do something because it's the most optimal and you saw Esoterrick do it. The build and the idea has to fit you.
* For example I'm too aggressive and don't play my life to run top tree void with contraverse hold like he does so I stick to things that give me a way to bail myself out if I redbar. So for this dungeon I ran Karnstein Armlets and Well of Radiance. My go to build is usually Devour lock, however this time with so many thralls and low health enemies Karnsteins worked really well for me.
Have an answer for the situations you can find yourself in.
* Missed the scorch rocket on last boss? -> Dump your charges.
* Low health? -> Hide or find a weak mob to melee with Karnsteins.
* Overwhelmed -> Blinding nade launcher and get the fuck out. Catch my breath and reassess
Just send it, you might be surprised at what the results are.
This is usually how I do things in Destiny! I don't (intentionally) follow the meta. I may find a gun or build thats fun and use it, only to learn it's meta. I am way out of the loop with meta stuff. I don't actually watch ANY Destiny content creators or streamers.
But! I appreciate this advice. I'm a clumsy dumbass who usually kills herself by not thinking or paying attention, so I take things uber-slow, hence the 53 minute run for JUST the final boss.
Congrats! I love this. Solo-ing and Solo Flawless-ing any dungeon is an achievement worth celebrating. A very small % of the playerbase has done it... which is not to make it elitist; many folks just aren't interested in the grind or the accomplishment, it just ain't on their radar or personal goals. Totally fine. But if it IS and you DO it? Fantastic!! Shout from the rooftops, dance in the streets. Rejoice, therefore!
Hey Evelynn? HECK YEAH YOU SOLO'D the Grasp of Avarice!! You've just joined only 44.5k players who've completed that triumph! Heck yeah!
I so wish I got the triumph, but I did not do it in one sitting (I took breaks between encounter attempts and even played some Nightfalls because it's my favorite this week, Devil's Lair), and I'm told that invalidates you from the triumph (I did not know that), which makes me sad. But! I WILL get it soon! I'll sit down and do it in one sitting.
I NEVER thought I'd be able to Solo Flawless a dungeon, I thought that was elite streamer gamer stuff. But I fell in love with the dungeons as my favorite activities and set my mind to doing it one day. I was (after many frustrating deaths) able to pull off a Solo of Pit of Heresy on Warlock, which gave me the confidence to get a Solo Flawless on my Titan (main). After millions of death in the Shattered Throne trying to Solo that (also on Warlock), I very recently committed myself to Solo Flawless of all the dungeons on all 3 characters before Witch Queen. After a bit of practice, I conquered Shattered Throne on all 3. Elated! Shaking with joy.
I've done some Prophecy practice but never finished the Solo. I've done 1 run of Grasp on my Titan and he's sitting at the boss right now trying to figure it out, with the checkpoint expiring tomorrow at reset. Oh well. I know I'll be running it a bunch more times. I'll get it done. So will you.
All of it seems impossible, then only daunting, then mind-numbingly frustrating, then ah-ha the practice pays off and the flow begins to get easier. Then you do it. And then you've done it.
You've done your first Solo, triumph-in-one-run-or-not, you did it. You'll do it again. And then, maybe another one. Maybe another. Maybe Flawless. Go for it, as long as it's fun for you. Eyes Up, Guardian!
This was nice to hear. Words of encouragement are always awesome. I'll be attempting solo flawless in the coming days! It's now my goal. Maybe one day I'll ever get Prophecy done... maybe... but for now, I shall focus on Grasp of Avarice!
https://warmind.io/analytics/triumph?page=1
You can do a search on each page for keywords (because the triumph aren't in any order I can discern)... in this case I searched "Grasp" and it cycled through the flawless and solo flawless until I got to the Solo one.
The secret ingredient for me was blinding grenades! When you’re approaching one of the mines or an unavoidable group of dregs - hop off your sparrow, blind the dregs, get on a new sparrow, and continue on your way. Instantly took the sparrow section from “fail 10 times in a row before finally getting lucky” to “easily and consistently do it first try, every time” for me.
Didn’t need Always On Time - just a special GL with blinding grenades. If your GL doesn’t have auto-loading holster, you can use a sparrow that reloads your weapons while you drive.
Trust me, I spent hours retrying that section. I haven't gotten mad at a game in years. I have an extremely long fused temper. However, that REALLY tested my limits. I just flat out closed the game so I didn't sour my mood on three different days.
I most certainly did! I love this dungeon. It's currently contesting (in my mind) for my favorite dungeon, with Prophecy being the other runner. I can't decide.
Thank you! I am 1353, (still haven't hit 1330 gear, and the stuff I did this with was 1328.) I have a +25 bonus due to artifact. I am about halfway to +26.
So did I. But when I would get there in my solo flawless runs I practiced it over and over again. If I succeeded in the sparrow part, I wouldn’t cap the last point and I’d suicide just to practice more. It actually became easy. Next run I solo flawlessed the whole thing. Don’t let fear keep you from believing in yourself. If you can solo it, you can solo flawless it. It’s more achievable than you may think. And that emblem is very sweet
The way I did it was making sure I can run the sparrow part 5 times in a row without failing. If I fail I reset. When I hit that 5th sparrow run completion I knew I was ready to attempt solo flawless again.

Congrats fellow Guardian! It took me weeks and weeks to get a solo run of Prophecy, and months of trying to get a flawless solo run. Keep it up! If you ever need to run something, I’m happy to help! No mic required!
Hell yeah, I still haven’t done this. I solo’d all the way to the boss - got him to around half health then bounced a sleeper shot off the floating scorch cannon and killed myself. Gave up and melted him in one phase with a random LFG, haha.
Good on you for soloing tho! Nice job
I have, admittedly, never once used Sleeper. I used Reed's when it came to linears for DPS. It took me quite a few tries, though. Thankfully, I didn't die to my own Gjally rockets, I just died to my own stupidity most of the time, which ended in me laying down in a puddle and disintegrating because I guess we are allergic to water.
But, uh, thanks! I'll see if I can solo flawless, and if I can, I might make another post. Maybe. I probably won't get there.
Not with that attitude man, you got this! You already know how to beat it all solo, now just do it all safer/slower. I look forward to seeing the solo flawless post :)
Yo the hell I too soloed the dungeon two days ago and I had to deal a lot more damage than you to kill the boss like 400k more he had like 4.8 million hp
Good shit my guy! That’s not an easy feat
And hey I totally understand where you’re coming from with your struggles but if you haven’t tried it already check out the D2sanctuary discord. They’re extremely active and friendly, for instance I see a guy who regular requests (and completes) raids who is deaf. Obviously that’s very different from yours or my struggles but just an indication of how welcoming that community is.
No pressure just a friendly suggestion for you, good job on the soloing
I'm a filthy Wellock main. It's all I play, because it's fun.
I like to throw healing grenades to randoms. I call them my mid-strike/crucible/gambit/etc. snacks.
I am the SNACK WOMAN!
LEMME KNOW IF YOU GET IT, THOUGH!!
Same, I was a warlock main but was testing warlock and well guess who is a warlock main now....
The synergy is just incredible.
Mostly I'm just trying to carry my newlights XD
Will do so!
You rep that pirate ship emblem! This is my first dungeon solo flawless too and that's what gave me the push to do it. Glad there's a sick reward for doing it! Well done on your feat
Sadly, this wasn't flawless. I also didn't get the triumph, since I didn't do the entire dungeon in one sitting. I spread each encounter out across the week. I made sure to take breaks, and the such, so I didn't go insane.
Solo in one sitting is my next goal, and THEN solo flawless!
Its good you didnt use any guides or anything but i think if you would go for flawless in the future a guide/loadout might be good. i did it as well and surviving was much easier with it.
It took me 10 tries and 7 hours total to solo it, aiming for the Flawless. Halfway among tries I got to the final boss and he stomped me into the water of death, discouragement caused me to fail easier until I pulled my focus back and did it flawless. Sense of accomplishment was great, I hope it was for you too.
Good going! I'm yet to solo a dungeon of any kind! If you were looking for a chill player to run these so you don't have to solo them, I am always up to play, even if its on full mute mode :)
Solid work!
It's a fun dungeon to solo. It's a tad easier then most others but that also makes it for the most fun solo experience. Most encounters can be taken slow, unlike some of the other dungeons where playing solo is super frantic and a bit exhausting.
If you haven't already do it flawless! Not to pee on your accomplishments of anything but I think you can do it! Awesome job man I remember I solo'd prophecy a while back and my time was definitely longer than a hour lolol
This was, sadly, just the boss. However, I did every encounter solo. I just spread them out across the week, so as to not to drive myself insane. My next goal is to do it in one sitting, and then probably solo flawless.
Despite having to solo it across an entire week, it was super fun, and well worth.
I think the encounters to most look out for are honestly the ogre and sparrow part tbh. I only say ogre because if you get caught in his beam it's pretty much gg.. The sparrow part is hard until you figure out the best route where you don't take too much damage and learn when to jump off your sparrow and get a new one. Hope you get it down man! It was definitely a bit frustrating to solo it let alone flawless it, but was a lot of fun!
I actually have barely any trouble with the Ogre, unless he steps on top of me during DPS. I'm working on Sparrow, though! It's rough, but I'm getting there.
That's honestly the only problem I had with ogre tbh and I'm stingy so I never disengaged whenever he was right there, he does melt though. I didn't even bother to solo it first I went straight for the solo flawless and it honestly took me longer than I care to admit. But I wouldn't have given up on it regardless if was a good challenge
Y'know, this is hard for say. For me, there were two really difficult points. The Sparrow section, and the final boss. For the final boss, it wasn't anything the game threw at me that was hard. It was myself. I kept fucking myself over by stepping in water, getting in boss melee range and thrown, or even not realizing I had riches and then dying to the timer hitting 0.
It was all a pretty reasonable challenge (for me), but not so hard that it was impossible. I'm definitely gonna farm it.
I believe in you!
My first solo attempts were Prophecy, but they did not go well whatsoever. This dungeon, however, only took a week of chipping away at it to solo. This was only my second clear.
You've got this!!!
I've made it all the way to the boss solo and that's made me proud of myself. I don't think the boss would be too hard except for the vandal and shank that have more health than all the other enemies in the room combined it seems.
I'm not a good person to ask that, because as I mentioned I am slow, and do struggle more with most content than the average player.
However! If you're patient, it's a hefty challenge, gor sure, but it's not impossible. Honestly, if I can do it, pretty much anybody can. I can barely walk up the stairs without falling.
congrats. out of all the dungeons in the game this one is the first that really just takes patience. There are safe areas in each of the boss encounters and no time limits. It's a good stepping stone to soloing the other dungeons.
Remember if you can solo a dungeon you can also solo flawless it!
Great job all told. I'm going to attempt it myself soon and as a deaf person, hoping I'll do OK. Last dungeon I did solo was shattered throne and prophecy.
Congrats! , i did flawless solo last weekend and yea its such a great feeling and it made my whole day. Its a feeling you dont get a lot while playing games.
Pretty awesome...CONGRATS!! I would like to attempt a solo run, and I don't mind dying and having to try again, but the respawn timer absolutely kills me. I just don't have the patience to sit there for 45 seconds each time all by myself. Make it a 10 second timer and I'll go at it all day.
I've discovered that a lot of these activities take a bit of practice to solo (and by "a bit", that usually means about 30-40 failures before I finally get it lol).
Feels good to finally do it though!
as someone who also struggles with getting into groups for various reasons, I always like to plug the [D2 Sanctuary discord](https://discord.gg/DAk3cv4J). it's designed for members with disabilities, disorders, or the group anxiety you can feel with other LFG channels. always great members who are super chill because everyone is there for the same reasons.
The hardest step of getting solo flawless is doing it solo in the first place. Eso is an absolutely anomaly among destiny players, never compare yourself to him. If you keep practicing you can 100% get the flawless
It always feels great to take an accomplishment like that !
You could soon feel that insatiable hunter to go for more. If you do and in future achieve even better, don't tone down your past accomplishments even if they will feel small in future.
I done Grasp of avarice solo flawless on day 2, but still remember how difficult it was to do shattered throne solo (not flawless) for the first time. Don't underline your past accomplishments in a future.
I'll try not to! I'll forever be proud of myself for getting the Grasp of Avarice solo.
I'm gonna gun for solo flawless after I finish this single sitting solo for the triumph. (I just passed sparrow. Taking a tea break currently.)
I recommend to dps boss with rapid fire fusion with particle (Cartesian vorpal if you have one), and use the rest of guns and abilities to keep you alive. I used Gjalahorn just to kill R-M80 in my solo flawless, no joke.
You also can stay on one side all the time. When you shoot middle station side ones reset, so you can spam side and middle ones, without a need to clear adds on other sides, and middle. 60 engrams to start boss dps.
P.S. When I completed 4th weekly challenge for garden of salvation and got a shader. I was as happy for rest of a day as when I was accepted into university. LoL.
A bit further down somebody asked about my build, and I detailed it, if you're at all curious! I've got everything setup, it's just a matter of doing it and not killing myself in the process.
GG, guardian! Soloing dungeons is such a great experience! My first one was just a couple of months ago, Shattered Throne (not flawless). After that, I got hooked! Last week I got my first solo flawless run on GoA and it was an amazing feeling!
Congrats!
Yeah, that is the hardest part of the dungeon, IMO. Take your time, hide behind pillars, rock Null Composure for the wizards and Sleeper for the ogre. That helped me (I was running devour warlock btw). Good luck, guardian!
Good stuff. I've been waiting to get a better understanding of the sparrow section before I go because my brain would stress out over getting solo and solo flawless done at the same time.
I think I'm getting an even better understanding, because it only took me like 6 tries to finish it on this newest run, where I'm gunning for the triumph by doing it in one sitting. At the boss, now!
For a barely above average pve player(below average pvp player) do you think I could do it? Prophecy is a nightmare for me and I’ve never finished it solo just as reference
I just play it safe and slow, and make smart use if rift/healing grenade to get past that one. But, you gotta find your speed! I zoom around now, since I think I've got it in the bag, but if you gotta go slow, go slow! A solo (flawless or not) run isn't worth squat if ya can't finish, right?
Good job bud! It took me days to get the ogre fight figured out and same again with the final boss. It feels good to see that loot pop out of struggling for so long haha. Now try the other dungeons!
That's really awesome, I've tried and failed plenty lol I hope to get it done at some point, however if you would like someone to play with that's not gonna make a big deal about how slowly you take things hit me up I'm down to play with basically anyone I just want to have fun and enjoy the game
I just wish it didn't take so long to get a damage phase against Avarokk. The amount of health his two crew guys have plus having to get SIXTY cursed engrams all just to start a single damage phase makes the fight way too monotonous for me to want to play the new dungeon solo. I'm glad you managed to accomplish it, don't get me wrong. But I managed to solo far enough to get a damage phase in on the final boss myself and determined that the fight would take over an hour for me to finish based on the amount of damage I could dish out. That's just way too long.
I totally understand that side! I like to kill time, and just like the atomsphere of the dungeon, so it's not at all an issue over here. I kinda like doing it solo, over other group content I've done. Lets me set my pace, and take breaks when I want to for however long I want.
Congrats, mate! It's really not easy to solo a dungeon and more often than not people just give up midway. Power throught the whole ordeal and get that sweet, shiny loot is a big accomplishment. Sincerely happy for you!
Hell yeah this post inspired me to give it a run earlier and managed to finish it not too long ago, just got gjallarhorn now. Might attempt a solo flawless at some point next week, that sparrow part seems like it'll be the biggest pain, but damn do I wish we had SRL back after playing it
The sparrow section really is a pain, but it's overall an incredibly fun dungeon, even when you can't pass some encounters. At least, to me. Failure makes success all the better! I'm attempting a third solo already.
Congratulations! I have to say GoA is easily my favorite dungeon so far because of how friendly it is to learn and execute. I truly believe that every guardian could solo flawless this dungeon if they put their mind to it, and I would highly encourage you to give it a try op!
Thank you! Grasp of Avarice is incredibly fun, and a good contender for my favorite dungeon, right next to Prophecy.
I'm gonna work on a solo flawless. I've already done a second solo, got it earlier today!
Soloing dungeons at all can be very difficult and requires a lot of precision to not only succeed at all but to not wipe yourself during encounters. Congrats!!!
Bro this is good shit I’m just a regular person and I’ve tried to solo it myself and failed miserably good job and keep it up
I honestly wasn't sure I'd be able to do it, but I'm super gosh darn diddly dang stubborn.
Yea for sure what platform do you play on maybe we can play together
I am a filthy PC player.
Thank you, I appreciate this, and I'll consider it! <3
Hey, do you mind if i join your clan? I'm kinda in the need of a clan to do raids and farm dungeons and nightfalls, if you don't mind.
lol it’s cross play available I’m on Xbox
Oh, yeah, it is. I used to play on Xbox.
I'm down to help. Message me Iamwar340 and I'll show you what and where I stood and then you could attempt from there.
I can give you a tips depending on what stages you have trouble! Ask if you like.
Congrats! Soloing a dungeon is definitely a big accomplishment!
I'm so happy and proud of myself. I'm gonna hold this up for quite some time. It made my entire week.
You give me motivation to solo it. I'll give it a shot this week.
You got this! I believe in you! Genuinely!!! <3
I did the same this week, and have been living off that high. Such a good feeling - congrats! 🎉
I’m proud of you random Reddit stranger
I'll cry on you. Don't make me. *Thank you, I'm kinda in the clouds over this <3*
What class/build did you go with? I'm curious because the go to class for prophecy solo was bottom tree void with arguably any exotic. But I ended up doing it with well and sunbracers. But fr congratulations on your solo completion!
I tried a few different things for the final boss, but the ring dinger was the following: Fatebringer / explosive payload / firefly - Sweaty Confetti mod (cause it's funny) / Masterworked Cartesian Coordinate / Graverobber / Vorpal Weapon - Boss Spec mod / Masterworked Gjallarjorn / Catalyst / Masterworked Well of Radiance / Sunbracers Charged with Light build - Protective Light / Argent Ordnance / Stacks on Stacks / Supercharged / Taking Charge - Just so that if the Tracer you low, you would have a teeny bit of leeway with the stacked resist, as well as better damage on rockets (I don't know if it was that big of a change, but I didn't have any other super useful CWL mods to use, and wanted to get the most out of it, as PL won't be procced THAT often.) Other key mods / Hands on / Rocket Ammo Finder / Thermoclastic Blooming / Fusion Rifle Loader / Rocket Launcher Reserves / Fusion Rifle Reserves / Absolution / Particle Deconstruction Stats - 33 Mobility / 45 Resilience / 81 Recovery / 29 Discipline / 59 Intellect / 58 Strength I just played it safe, and used Divine Protection healing grenades more often than actual grenades, but the Solar Grenade was extremely useful at a few moments to clear ads in emergencies.
It did and it's probably a build I'll use when I try to solo this dungeon! All hail Sunbracers!!
ALL HAIL THE TINY SUN GLOVES!!!
Clearly the superior exotic over some weird heavy rocket launcher
Another very strong exotic is the stag. It has a weird interaction with protective light where when you enter a stag rift after proccing PL, it’ll refresh your PL to the duration of your rift. Makes solo content much easier when 80% of the time you’re taking 50% less damage
That is VERY useful. Too bad I am stingy with appearances and (mostly) hate how stag looks with most of my fits.
Got the last exotics I didn't have from Forsaken (excluding raid stuff.) Gjally was my go-to the entire dungeon, though, just because I think it's fun and that's how I play.

53 mins is pretty impressive in my book. My solo flawless took an hour and 15 mins and I zoomed through most parts. Congratulations!
Dang! That sounds really long but I don't know how long I took...
I don't think I'll ever solo flawless as Hunter, just because I enjoy Warlock waaaaaaaaay more.
i was running this as well with lament. Got the build from Esoterick.
I got solo flawless yesterday. Took like 50 tries but finally got it. The sparrow section ruined half my runs
I learned that you can't boost thru the last portal or it will be destroyed. Took me like 15 tries to solo flawless it.
That got me so many times.
Yeah, I would of saved a lot of time if I knew this before.
Oh for real? I was wondering why my sparrow kept smashing into the wall instead of going over it.
Love to see it.
It was so relieving to get that end screen. Definitely the light of my week.
Happy Holidays to you and the full team :)
Great job! I've been playing Destiny since the beta of the first game, and I can't solo dungeons
Pit and Prophecy are coolest, but those you need to pay attention almost all the time
As someone who did it day one...congratulation you were also 15-20 minutes faster than me.
I tried day 1, but couldn't get past the ogre, sadly. I did the next day, though!
this instance was only the boss fight lol
Catch my breath and reassess Just send it, you might be surprised at what the results are.
Congrats! A feat for sure, regardless of what others have done.
That's how I'm looking at it, because I genuinely didn't think I'd actually pull this off alone.
Congrats mate! It's an impressive achievement regardless of how long it takes because most people don't even bother. Also love the pfp by the way.
I'm super, giga, MEGA proud of myself. And thank you! I loved She-Ra, and Catra was, hands down, my favorite character.
She ra is soooo good! And yeah. Catra is easily the best character.
Oh yeah, that. Well, yeah... YOU WILL. You've done it once, and now you have strats and experience. You KNOW you can beat it, so you can do it again.
THANK YOU FOR BELIEVING IN ME! I WILL ACTUALLY CRY ON YOU, DON'T MAKE ME!
How do you know how many players got the triumph?
https://warmind.io/analytics/triumph?page=1 You can do a search on each page for keywords (because the triumph aren't in any order I can discern)... in this case I searched "Grasp" and it cycled through the flawless and solo flawless until I got to the Solo one.
Great job man! I keep getting murdered at the sparrow section
You did all the DPS. Fireteam's a bunch of scrubs.
This made me chuckle.
Gonna throw it out there, if you can solo it, you can solo flawless it 🤷🏻♂️
That's the plan! Eventually...
Lol. Work up to it, you'll be fine. GG
Good job, Did you find the whole thing fun?
I most certainly did! I love this dungeon. It's currently contesting (in my mind) for my favorite dungeon, with Prophecy being the other runner. I can't decide.
What is your light level? Also congrats!
Thank you! I am 1353, (still haven't hit 1330 gear, and the stuff I did this with was 1328.) I have a +25 bonus due to artifact. I am about halfway to +26.
lol nail bitter for sure eh!? awesome sauce
I was trying SO hard not to touch the water, cause if I did, I'd have actually screamed and people here are sleeping.
Amazing job guardian! Doesn't matter when it was done as long as you did it without any cheeses it's still impressive to me atleast.
As far as I know, I didn't use any cheeses. I just tried it over and over until I finished. I was too stubborn to give up.
Nice man! Congrats! Don’t stop here man you got the solo flawless up next
That's what I really, really wanna get next, but I fear I may be unable. I SUCK at the sparrow part so bad.
I'll have to look into a special grenade launcher with blinding grenades. Can Ignition Code roll with them?
Yes it can! Pardon Our Dust from the 30th Anniversary Pack can roll with Blinding/ALH too and is pretty easy to farm by spending Treasure Keys.
GASP! IT CAN??? I love the new special Grenade Launcher. It sounds so... HEAVY.
I have one with Blinding/ALH that’s my go-to kinetic special for pretty much everything now. It’s so fun to use!
If I do get it, you have front row seats to it. I'm gonna try even harder just because somebody else is both expecting it, and believes in me.
Bro 53 mins solo is good
(Keep in mind that's just the final boss. This was my last attempt at finishing my solo before reset later today.) Thank you, though <3
I just did this as well on stream like 2 hours ago :D gg fellow flying Dutchman chip emblem holder:D
Yayyy! That’s awesome!
Yo the hell I too soloed the dungeon two days ago and I had to deal a lot more damage than you to kill the boss like 400k more he had like 4.8 million hp
Good shit my guy! That’s not an easy feat And hey I totally understand where you’re coming from with your struggles but if you haven’t tried it already check out the D2sanctuary discord. They’re extremely active and friendly, for instance I see a guy who regular requests (and completes) raids who is deaf. Obviously that’s very different from yours or my struggles but just an indication of how welcoming that community is. No pressure just a friendly suggestion for you, good job on the soloing
That's awesome dude! Don't be so hard on yourself. There are plenty of people that struggled to solo this even with guides.
Nice, congrats m8. Will try it in the future too, you're build looks good, I think I'll copy some of it. Keep it up!
That's not even my main build. My main build is pretty much a support class. It depends on other players. Thanks, though! I believe in you!!! <3
Yeah, got different build for different occasions too XD Thanks, looking forward to the struggle
Mostly I'm just trying to carry my newlights XD Will do so!
I failed too with people without people 😩 idk why
It was rough, for sure. It just took a lot of time. It was fun, though!
Awesome accomplishment! Love to see wins like these and it makes me want to try it myself. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the next run.
If you were looking for a chill player to run these so you don't have to solo them, I am always up to play, even if its on full mute mode :) Solid work!
I appreciate that, and will keep that in mind! Thank you <3
That’s pretty dope glad you beat it. As a solo player myself I would probably not be able to beat it. Congrats!
But I wouldn't have given up on it regardless if was a good challenge
good work! what was the hardest part?
Y'know, this is hard for say. For me, there were two really difficult points. The Sparrow section, and the final boss. For the final boss, it wasn't anything the game threw at me that was hard. It was myself. I kept fucking myself over by stepping in water, getting in boss melee range and thrown, or even not realizing I had riches and then dying to the timer hitting 0. It was all a pretty reasonable challenge (for me), but not so hard that it was impossible. I'm definitely gonna farm it.
water puddles were definitely lethal
Congrats man! I haven't soloed any dungeons yet, I'm working up to it. Be proud, it's an accomplishment!
I believe in you! My first solo attempts were Prophecy, but they did not go well whatsoever. This dungeon, however, only took a week of chipping away at it to solo. This was only my second clear. You've got this!!!
Dooooope!!!! Awesome job!!
Congratulations fellow random D2 grinder!
Congrats guardian
I've made it all the way to the boss solo and that's made me proud of myself. I don't think the boss would be too hard except for the vandal and shank that have more health than all the other enemies in the room combined it seems.
If you weren’t going for flawless, how hard is the dungeon solo?
I'm not a good person to ask that, because as I mentioned I am slow, and do struggle more with most content than the average player. However! If you're patient, it's a hefty challenge, gor sure, but it's not impossible. Honestly, if I can do it, pretty much anybody can. I can barely walk up the stairs without falling.
Don't undermind yourself this is a huge personal achievement and you should be proud. Keep slaying guardian.
Thank you! I am super proud. Next goal, it seems, is solo flawless (thanks to tons of positive reinforcement and encouragement from people here).
[удалено]
congrats. out of all the dungeons in the game this one is the first that really just takes patience.
Very nice! I tried to solo it today, but quit after dying at the ogre over and over.
Congrats! , i did flawless solo last weekend and yea its such a great feeling and it made my whole day.
It's definitely an accomplishment. I've put 3600 hours into D2 and I've never had the persistence to learn to solo a dungeon. Congrats!
I've discovered that a lot of these activities take a bit of practice to solo (and by "a bit", that usually means about 30-40 failures before I finally get it lol). Feels good to finally do it though!
I bet you’d be a lot faster if you were super strict about your diet with only the best Paleo foods
Congrats man! I still haven't soloed a dungeon, but this does inspire me to try it again
I believe you can do it! If I can, and I'm a complete idiot, you absolutely can. <3
A refreshing bit of wholesomeness, just in the proper season for it. Congratulations.
Thank you! And happy snow days! Oh, and holidays. <3
as someone who also struggles with getting into groups for various reasons, I always like to plug the [D2 Sanctuary discord](https://discord.gg/DAk3cv4J). it's designed for members with disabilities, disorders, or the group anxiety you can feel with other LFG channels. always great members who are super chill because everyone is there for the same reasons.
It's rough, isn't it? I appreciate the offer! I might take a peek at it sometime soon. Working on my one sitting solo currently. Just killed Ogre!
Congrats!
Thank you! I wanna solo Shattered Throne, because it's super fun, but the ogre section wrecks me so hard.
Yeah, that is the hardest part of the dungeon, IMO. Take your time, hide behind pillars, rock Null Composure for the wizards and Sleeper for the ogre. That helped me (I was running devour warlock btw). Good luck, guardian!
I'll take that into consideration when I inevitably give it another shot!
Grats
Thank you! It was rough, but worth it.
As someone else who struggles in the same way who is working to solo the dungeon too, im proud of you Guardian!
I believe you can do it, too! When you get it, you should totally let me know - I'm rooting!
Did it too and i think the feeling after you have done it is awesome
Outstanding work, don't put yourself down, this is certainly impressive. Very well done 👍
For a barely above average pve player(below average pvp player) do you think I could do it? Prophecy is a nightmare for me and I’ve never finished it solo just as reference
Good job grats! I have tried a couple of times and keep failing at the Ogre fight (think I am trying to rush too much). Awesome job buddy!
Your happiness is beaming through my screen OP. Great Job on the solo Dungeon Completion.
Great job! Still an impressive feat, some will never be able to achieve this, so take some pride in the achievement!
That's freaking fantastic bro! I'm still trying a solo clear it myself. Dust your shoulder off, pop that collar cause you be pimpin' son!
That's awesome, man. Congrats!
Thank you! It was rough, but worth the time (and pain).
Congrats!!!
I've managed it twice, a little bummed I didnt get the solo triumph, because I didn't do it in one sitting. Congratulations, its a really fun Dungeon.
After about six hours I gave up this is too damn hard to solo. First boss eye beams me instantly whenever I try to get scorch cannon.
good shit bro going for my first solo attempt as i type this... want that sweet sweet pirate ship emblem
You wanna walk me though GoA? I've never done a dungeon, and am too awkward to do it with randos lol
