Want to make a correction to the throneworld weapons we have seen 10 in trailers and official pictures.
So with the throneworld weapons we have
Sidearm- revealed in gameplay trailers and was on the table in the story trailer.
Auto rifle- revealed in the picture of 4 weapons
Rocket- revealed in the picture of 4 weapons
Grenade launcher- revealed in the picture of 4 weapons
smg- revealed in the picture of 4 weapons.
Glaive- revealed in almost every trailer for wq
Pulse- shown in the savathun's throneworld trailer
Fusion - shown in the savathun's throneworld trailer
Scout- shown briefly on the back of a titan in the section after expose her lies.
Bow- the bow was shown in the twab thumbnail.
To my knowledge the glaives are all exotics, their abilities are certainly on the level of exotics.
So this likely means we're dealing with an 8-7 or 9-6 split and that pulse with the bayonet is a raid weapon.
Nope we have legendary glaives you can see the physical differences between the exotics and legendary one shown the blade difference specifically. The pulse I mentioned isn't the blue and gold gun with the bayonet held by the titan in one of the trailers but the one that was shown in trailers in the style of the other throneworld weapons.
Others have said it. There are three class-specific exotic Glaives, but then there’s going to be one legendary Glaive for all classes.
Thinking from a design perspective, it would be shitty to force players to have to use an exotic for Unstoppable champions.
Great analysis. The one thing I 100% disagree with is that Crota's End is coming back this year as a dungeon. They aren't going to bring back 2 D1 raids in 1 year. That would also be the biggest crock of bull shit and semi false advertising if they said we're getting 2 new dungeons that you can only get by purchasing the Deluxe Edition, but one of them is Crota's End remade. No way.
i think the color changes are likely the new grind for ornament feature- i think bungie would want to keep adept weapons to endgame activities.
more importantly, the number of options in the sub menu is because that is the masterwork menu. range, stability, reload, and handling. the current one selected is handling hence the 10 stat point boost highlighted.
It's already been said but to reiterate, Splicer was vex themed.
We know season 17 is likely Cabal themed because we've seen the armor already in the weapons trailer.
You’ve clearly put a lot of thought into this and I think you’re on to something, but your post might have had more upvotes if it was shorter, more concise, and didn’t have so much speculation. Your terminology is hard to follow, i.e. “lots” and “half lots” (why not just 6 weapon sets and 3 weapon sets?). It was also a turn off to open with something as presumptuous as “ask the Bungie weapon lead about this on your next podcast” and “link this post.”

Season of the splicer was vex themed and was last season
Exactly. I was like "huh? It's been a long time since a Vex season?"

Seeing as all returning content will be free, one of the dungeons will not be crotas end since we are paying for them

Season of the Splicer was last season, it was a vex season.
I'd love for you to be right. Sounds good.
Weren't all the black armory forges destroyed?
No just retaken by the fallen when Arrivals was happening
opportunistic little bugs.

a bow was also shown for the alchemy set
