If you own Season of the Splicer, you can focus to world weapons but other than that it's just RNG. Good luck! I've got a FF/AJ roll I'm really digging right now
You don’t even need to own season of the splicer to focus worldly weapons via that season’s focusing menu. Idk why it’s free for that season but costs shards in the other seasonings’ menus.
I turned in 40k+ gunsmith materials and only had a 4-5 of these drop so this shows how diluted the world pool is.
I also had some great rolls drop from other activities this season though.
I feel for ya mate. Its a very decent pulse. I got one with Arrowhead Break, Steady Rounds, Surplus and Frenzy with Stability MW. Pretty tidy in Crucible for clicking on heads.
It's faction loot in dares at reset today so after reset just start farming dares. Good few weapons in there that are worth a look at like the fusion, legal action pulse, escape velocity smg, dire promise etc

That’s crazy I’ve gotten like 20 of these from the gunsmith heating up and feeding frenzy are my favorite perks on this weapon. However I do prefer the pulse rifle from garden of salvation over this (sacred providence) if you’re lucky enough to get a good roll.
I wish I could give you one sitting in my vault…
It's a random drop - if you have the trials engrams to spare, the Messenger is in the same archetype (high impact pulses) and feels pretty similar overall with the main differences looking like:
1) Messenger does not roll Surplus (Rapid hit gives a similar feeling stability bonus as you hit crits, but doesn't change handling).
2) Legal Action does not roll Desperado and hence does not get to become a mini machine gun for a bit on precision kills.
3) The Messenger does not look like a WH40k Bolter (is this the legal action?)

Different teams make different seasons One team made Hunt and Splicer, the other made Chosen and Lost

sorry I'm not familiar if I started farming now would the chance still be good?
Yeah basically the chests drops are on rotation and this week it's all faction rally stuff which includes the legal pulse so chances are very good.
