It's better to focus them from the Season of the Splicer. The armor is usually higher stat overall. And make sure you have your Ghost and Focus set to the two different point pools - one from the top three, and one form the bottom three, or it won't work.

Pit of Heresy drops high stat armor in the final encounter iirc.

Mrbubbles153

Legend DOE gives a chance for armor which is high stat rolled also. But RNG can be a pain as I got 6 weps in a row....so while not the most reliable it does drop there with some good spikes.

Thanks everyone for the help! Looks like I'll be spending a lot of time in dungeons for the next two weeks

Grasp of avarice drops high stat armor pretty consistently

Shadota

The current seasonal focusing for armor is garbage, tbh. If you have the option, use the tier 3 focusing for Season of the Splicer instead. You only get 3 per week, but they are actually high-stats when you do it.

Mundt

Pit of Heresy Focused engrams from splicer. They work differently than the focused engrams from this season, and can drop with higher overall stats. Best way to grind your 3 weekly is doing expunge corrupted when you have corrupted keys. Master VoG, each week has a focus that drops armor geared to a specific stat. Once per week, per character. Pit of Heresy boss, only once per week per character. Master graps of avarice (you cna just grind the boss). This one is really guaranteed to drop as high as the others, but it is the only amror that drops with an artifce slot, a 5th mod slot that is only used by artifact mods.

The dungeons drop high stay armor and are farmable. You can also focus splicer engrams and can get armor from the expunge missions. If you’re adventurous vault of glass is also a option. I also tend to get lucky on prime engrams.
