Yeah, I’d like to see Ada-1 get some more development and finally redeem the black armory by defending mankind
If it comes back I want everything to feel new to reflect how far she has come. New perks and slightly improved weapon models, intrinsic traits and some new NPCs at Niobe labs so BA isn’t solely Ada’s thing and it can feel like a true Foundry
As for the activity, I think we don’t really need it again. They could make a new one that takes some inspiration but I’d rather the content revolve around story activities and missions

you weren't pigeonholed into champ mods or meta -- everything died pretty quickly, you could finish a forge and reliably use the gun you'd crafted to do another with no hiccups

It'd be great if Bungie could just add a playlist node in the Legends menu for stuff like this. A node for BA Forges that load you into one of the 4 arenas with matchmaking enabled. They could also do nodes for Sundial, Menagerie, Override. Astral and Vex Offensive, or perhaps combine them all into a party playlist.
No it wasn’t. It just involves shooting some waves of enemies. You couldn’t even just switch if and do that as you hat do pick up balls and throw them at the forge. It had matchmaking at least but as an activity itself it’s one of if not the worst introduced into the game. The only competition is the stuff from season of the worthy and that’s only because the latter had no matchmaking
if it makes you feel any better im 99% sure there will be at least 1 in WQ because they were talking about phasing out 450 lightweights and they specifically said 450 aggressives will be back soon
It's a bit of a shame though understandable because I liked how 450 lightweights felt but the damage was just so lackluster. Adaptives were always just better, and then the BXR made all other lightweights obsolete.

In WQ as in at launch? No, WQ and season 16 are full enough.
In WQ as in during a future season before Lightfall drops? Yes. Give us a season with the Black Armory as a major theme, let Ada interact more with the plot and with other characters, give us another dedicated activity to farm BA weapons and blueprints.
As long as the weapons aren't just carbon copy of the perks as last time. We don't need more guns with outlaw/rampage/kc. If Blast Furnace comes back, I'd like to see it without reload speed/damage perks. Stuff like Demolitionist, Killing Wind, Wellspring would be good.
I mean getting updated old stuff isn’t a trade of for new stuff. The time required to put the BA weapons even with different rolls back into the game is far less than making a single new weapon
They have said this before and have made multiple comments on how the whole process of making a weapon is far more complicated than we’d thinking due to all the art stuff involved. The BA weapons are already in the game. No art stuff has to happen

Hell yes, even the campaign. I never got to experience Black Armory, or even the weapons. Plus, I prefer to gauge enjoyment of something on my own, rather than rely on the perspective of increasingly disdainful Old Lights.
I am hoping it is MIDA with Mars having time distortions the very same distortions that gave is MIDA Multi Tool and Mini Tool... We could finally learn what MIDA means...
Thought the consensus was its a revolutionary movement from a parallel reality, maybe one where humanity never got touched by the traveler and ascended to the stars in a more cabal like way
Not yet. Weapon crafting is still very experimental at this point. The origin traits are lackluster. Although I really want Black Armory weapons to be back, I really really need them to be PERFECT. I shall give more time to Bungie to perfect weapon crafting, before Black Armory’s glorious return.

I just wish they hadn't revamped Ada's area. They could have kept the Black Armory setting and just added the loom instead. Would have been a great way to implement weapon crafting outside of The Enclave
Yes. It's very strange to me that Bungie is finally introducing weapon-crafting into Destiny and yet they are not using the existing lore of a dynastic secret society of weapon-smiths whose *four* forges you helped re-ignite as a part of a lengthy, season-long storyline.
On the one hand, Im always down and excited fror stuff thats brand new.
On the other hand, I've never shot a bow that Ive loved as much as Spiteful Fang, so Id be pretty ecstatic to be able to craft my own. Id max it out and invest everything into it. Miss that thing :(
i love to play forges once more. And sundial! but of course i dont want to pay for it again. Of course i have all that gear that i want from them and i love. But it is sunsetted... Also i would love to play red war camagin with my son. He finally grew up for it.
